Lea's POV

*Knock Knock knock*

"Mmm, who is that?!" I cried because if the endless knocking on the door.

"I'm sorry Miss but the lord asked me to look for you he has an announcement to make and he wants your presence" the great house butler said. "Thanks Richards, I'll be down in a minute" I moaned under the covers. I slightly drifted back in sleep when another knock came, which got me startled. "Yes?" I said. " Miss, I'm waiting" Richards said. I got up and walked to the door. "Why can't I sleep?!" I said this time annoyed. "Because of your father's announcement" he said. I groaned and closes the door to get in my bathroom. I got a shower and got some clothes to wear. I got my shoes and walked out. My mother and father always made sure that maids and servants took care if me because I'm the last daughter of my family. I have two big brothers there names are Leo and Khione. Khione is older than me and Leo. He is 22 years old. Leo is 18 years old and I'm 17 years. I walked out and got to the dining room. My dad was on his chair and my mom as usual next to him. My parents have been in love for long. I envy them sometime.

"Good morning Lea." my mom said coming to hug me like she did everyday. I hugged her back and sat at my chair. "Good morning dad" I said. " Good morning sweetheart" he answered with a happy grin. My brothers were still not there. "Where are Khione and Leo?" I asked, when the dining room door opened revealing Khione. Khione was the special kid in some way. He was a warrior and a prince which would make all the maids go jelly.I would laugh when he is stalked by ladies. Leo followed Khione he sat next to me as always.

He smelled like usual vanilla and honey. "Hello Lea, hi mom, dad and Khione" Leo said helping himself with pancakes. I got some egg and bacon. "Dad I was told that you were to make an announcement?" I said. "Yes, for once in the history of our territory, humans are going to come here!" my dad said which almost got me to spit my orange juice. "Excuse me?" Khione said looking shaken like me. "You heard me humans on our territory." my dad repeated. I looked at my mom's reaction but she seemed to look normal. "Mom, you aren't going to say anything?" I asked. "No. I actually wanted to confess something to you my kids" she said looking stressed. "I and your father are not the same race. I'm human." she said which made sense to her looks and behavior. Khione dropped his fork to the floor and stared at my mom. I spitted the juice in my mouth and sat back for my emotions to calm down. Leo seemed normal on the other side. I looked at my dad who would only look back at me. My mom is human.
