Kim household was extremely busy today unlike other days. Kim Jihyun was making sure every corner of her mansion was spotless and tidy. She would then go to kitchen to guide cooks on what to make and how much certain ingredients should be added so that the food will be exactly like the taste his son loved.
She was passing through the hallway when her sight fell on the huge picture secured in a delicate wooden frame. A beautiful smile adorned her lips as she looked at the picture of her perfect family. Her loving husband Kim Seonho, her naughty little boy Kim Jungkook who was literally her life and her pride and elder son Kim Taehyung. Jungkook was having a grumpy face and holding her arm while Taehyung was teasing him.
She remembered that day but it wasn't same now after taehyung decided to leave for the states. He has been residing there for almost two years and was returning just now when he was informed how Seonho suddenly had an angina attack. Jihyun literally begged him to return to them and he decided to pack his whole setup there and to come back home.
She moved away and got busied in decorating her house. Seonho was sitting In the living room reading a newspaper when his wife approached him.
Jihyun
Did you called Kookie, why he isn't back yet. I clearly told him to come back early today
Jihyun wasn't pleased with Jungkook's irresponsible behavior.
Seonho
He'll come back don't worry
Seonho said extending his hand towards his wife who gladly took it and sat beside him.
Jihyun
Did you take your medicine?
Seonho
Yes mam took them already
Jihyun
(smile at his husband)
Jihyun
I'm so happy today finally Tae will be back with us and we'll live together just like before.
Seonho
Yes we'll live together again (peck her forehead)
Deep voice said and jihyun jumped up from the couch and rushed towards the source of voice.
Jihyun
My baby you're back
Jihyun said tears threatening to fall from her eyes
Taehyung kissed her forehead. Jihyun wasn't breaking the hug and was silently crying.
Seeing her son after so long was a trial for her. She didn't knew why Taehyung suddenly decided to leave but it made her really sad and she would cry herself to sleep while missing her elder son.
Seonho
Okay now it's my turn lady
Seonho said and jihyun parted from the hug.
Seonho
Welcome back Taehyung
Seonho said proudly and they both hugged. Taehyung's eyes roamed around the big house which was still the same as two years ago. His house where he spent all his life and had thousands of bittersweet memories. His gaze stopped at his father.
Taehyung asked. He looked weak. Taehyung felt a knot in his throat. He should have been here to look after them.
Seonho gave him a reassuring smile and placed his hand on his shoulder.
Seonho
I'm fine. Now that you're here, everything will be fine

Everything will be fine, promise (whisper)
Jihyun
Okay now end with your conversation. Taehyung are you hungry? prepared your favorite dishes

I'm really hungry
Taehyung said rubbing his belly and all of them moved towards dining room. They all ate together while chatting and laughing.

I'll go take a shower
Jihyun
Okay then come back down I'll prepare tea for you
Jihyun said and he nodded. Taehyung excused himself and went to his room. It was still the same as he left it. The only thing that was changed were curtains and bed sheets. He looked around for a few minutes relishing the old memories. He opened his walk in closet and pulled out grey sweat shirt and trousers. He took a warm shower. When he got out of the bath room he saw his mobile shining. He picked up the call.
Taehyung was standing on the balcony of his room. His friend Jake from US just called him and he was talking to him. He ended the call and was about to move inside his room when he heard a car stop in front of their house. A young boy emerged from inside. A half smoked cigarette in between his slender fingers, he smoked it one last time before throwing it on the floor and crushing it with his boots.
He waved at the group of his friends and ran towards the door. He stopped in front of the gate and dusted his jacket and smelled it. After he was satisfied no smoke could be smelled on him he entered his house. Taehyung also moved inside his room and downstairs towards the living room.

Good evening mom and dad
Jungkook said loudly and hugged jihyun who was scolding him.
Jihyun
Jungkook I told you to come back early today you never listen to me

Sorry mom got caught with some work
Jihyun
You didn't even met Taehyung go and greet him
Jihyun said and Jungkook stopped drinking his juice and placed the left over on the table.
Jihyun
Look he's behind you
Jungkook slowly turned around and was met with the Handsome man, His hyung Kim Taehyung. He was looking silently at him when taehyung stepped forward.

Taehyung extended his right hand for jungkook. Jungkook took his hand in his own and gave a small smile.
The younger was looking extra pretty even with all those dark jackets and jeans. Taehyung was reminded again why he was so whipped for the younger.

Jungkook yelped when Taehyung pulled him inside his chest and caged his body with his arms. Taehyung inhaled his scent and sighed in relief. He was finally awarded with cool shadows after years of scorching heat.
He would have enjoyed the moment for a little longer but then he got the scent of cigarette again.

I can still smell cigarette's smoke on you
Elder whispered and Jungkook froze in the hug. He gently pulled away and tried to smile at the elder.
Jihyun
Jungkook go wash up and join us back
Jihyun said to him and he nodded slightly and went to his room immediately.
Jungkook left while taehyung's gaze followed him until he was out of sight.
As soon as he reached inside he sighed in relief. His heart was thumping loudly. He didn't knew what to feel. Should he be happy or sad considering they didn't parted on a good note.
Jungkook mumbled and went to take a bath.
When he came back downstairs his parents and Taehyung were chatting on a random topic. He went to sit beside his mom and placed his head on her shoulder looking anywhere but at taehyung.
Jihyun
Taehyung we missed you so much, why would you even leave us so suddenly and now I'm never letting you go. You'll have to stay with us no matter what
Jihyun was sad. She really missed her son.
Taehyung smiled sadly and went to sit beside her. Hugging her from side while jihyun returned the hug.

I missed you all too mom I won't leave again, promise
Taehyung said looking at jungkook through the hug who was also staring at him.
Seonho
Let's have dinner I'm sure Jungkook haven't eaten anything
Seonho said and jihyun chuckled.
Jihyun
You're right he's becoming so careless. Let's go babies
She said pulling both of them with her.

Mom I'm fine don't wanna eat right now
Jungkook whined but his whining was cut short when seonho gave him a hard stare and he stopped whining.
He mumbled and began to eat with them. Mostly poking pasta in front of him with fork.
After dinner Seonho went to library to do some work while jihyun told both of them to take some rest. She was planning for a lunch in a restaurant for tomorrow and to celebrate taehyung's return.
Jungkook was back in his room and plopped on his back on his king size bed. His mind running horses and he couldn't focus on one thing right now. He was lost in his thoughts when there was a knock at the door of his room and soon Taehyung entered.
Jungkook sat up on his bed as he looked at the older surprised at his sudden arrival. He didn't expected taehyung will come to see him.

I brought something for you
Taehyung raised a box in his hands.

Taehyung mocked him and jungkook huffed.
Taehyung handed him the box. Jungkook hesitantly took it. Taehyung sat beside him on the edge of the bed.
Jungkook wanted to dash out of the room but he tried to act normal. He slowly teared the wrapping paper and opened the box. His breath hitched looking at the gorgeous bracelet inside. It was of platinum with a delicate frame and with alphabets JK written in the middle with diamond stones.
Cursed himself for stuttering.

Jungkook mumbled but luckily taehyung didn't heard.
Jungkook questioned looking at the elder who was staring at him.

Jungkook (cold voice)
Elder said and jungkook was frozen once again.Taehyung didn't waited for his response and pulled him on his lap and hugged him. Jungkook finally came to his senses and gently tried to push taehyung to get off his lap but elder's grip only strengthenend.

Let's just stay like this for a while. I used to calm you like this whenever you cried back then
Taehyung whispered with a little smile. Jungkook relaxed in the hug. He missed it too, more than anything else. He didn't expected Taehyung to talk to him so nicely at all.
The moment was cut short when they heard jungkook's mobile ring. Jungkook pulled from the hug and picked up his mobile from the bed.
Jungkook looked up at him.
