So before I start, let me introduce you to the main characters

Meet Vince Kingsley, my main character. He is 25 years and is a patient in the St Luke's hospital. He was brought in as a child by his parents and has been there ever since.

This is the beautiful doctor, Selena Samuels. She is 25 years old and the youngest psychiatrist in St Luke's hospital. She loves her job with passion and does whatever she can to help her patients.
Author
Yohan Miles. He is the best friend of Vince Kingsley. He is also a patient of the St Luke's hospital. Not only that, but he has been at the hospital for two years and is the only one Vince talks to.

Young Vince
*crying* please

*angry* shut up already! You are becoming very annoying
Young Vince
Please don't hurt me...I beg you

You better do as I say and lie down. Do it now!!
Young Vince
*cries so more as he hesitates*

Have you forgotten what I said would happen if you didn't do as I say?
Young Vince
*gets shocked* Please, don't hurt her. I will do it. Please don't hurt her

Hurry up! I don't have all day
Vince slowly does as he is told as his face is filled with tears. He lies down on the bed and the unknown man looks at him lustfully

This is going to be good.
St Luke's Psychiatry hospital.
Dr Salvatore Miles
So, as I was saying. This patient is one of a kind
Dr Salvatore Miles
He hardly speaks to anyone. He doesn't go out of his room either. I actually think the only person he speaks to is Yohan, an inmate here.
Selena Samuels
Really? I wonder why
Selena Samuels
Was he always like this?
Dr Salvatore Miles
Not really. He used to say a lot and was quite an aggressive one until he just stopped speaking all together. I can't really tell why
Selena Samuels
I've gone through his files and I must say, his case is a peculiar one
Selena Samuels
Anyway, I can't wait to see how this goes
Dr Salvatore Miles
All the doctors that were assigned to him gave up on him eventually because he wasn't opening up much. I just hope you get him to open up to you
Selena Samuels
I hope so too
They heard toward one of the private wards. Once they stood in front of it, Dr Miles keyed in some codes, allowing them access to the room
Dr Salvatore Miles
All the best dear. You can come to me if you have any questions
Selena Samuels
Sure. Thank you
Selena walked into the room and found Vince seated on his bed. His knees was close up to his chest while he had his arms wrapped around them. He was looking away at the window that faced outside
She dragged the chair that was seated at the corner of the room and sat down on it. She took a look at the handsome young man in front of her
And took a look at the room quickly before looking back at the young man again
Selena Samuels
Hello. I'm Dr Selena Samuels. I guess you are Vince Kingsley, right?
Selena Samuels
*sighs* I'm here because I'm the new doctor who has been assigned to you.
Vince Kingsley
*sighs frustratedly*
Selena Samuels
At least, you can look at me. I just want us to have short discussion
Vince Kingsley
*slowly looks at her*
Vince Kingsley
*surprised to see his new doctor is a beautiful woman*
Vince Kingsley
*but still remains silent*
Selena Samuels
*smiles* How are you feeling today?
Vince Kingsley
*breaths in deeply then looks away again*
Selena Samuels
*sighs again* Look, I know you must be very tired of doctors coming in here promising to help you...
Vince Kingsley
Then why are you here?
Selena Samuels
(wow he has a nice voice. Wait, did he just speak to me?)
Selena Samuels
I am here to help you. I genuinely want to help you.
Vince Kingsley
*laughs* Really?
Selena Samuels
Yes, really
Vince Kingsley
I will go away if I were you, Doctor. You won't get anywhere with me
Selena Samuels
What makes you think that?
Vince Kingsley
I've said enough. Go away
Selena Samuels
What if I don't?
Vince Kingsley
Then you will be talking to yourself throughout the little conversation you want to have with me. Save yourself the trouble and go away
Selena Samuels
I am not going anywhere till I get what I want
Vince Kingsley
*rolls his eyes and gets off his bed*
Vince looked outside the window, as he watched the other patients who were seated in the garden outside. Some were with their relatives that had come over to visit. While others walked around doing what they liked to do
With a weary sigh, he kept his eyes outside and held on to the protective bars that had been placed between him and the open window.
Selena Samuels
So you are really going to avoid talking to me?
Selena Samuels
Alright. But that does not mean I won't come back. Because I will. And I will continue till I am able to help you deal with what you have
She gets up, picks the chair up and places it where she first saw it. Then made her way towards the door when...
Vince Kingsley
Why are you so hell bent on helping me? Don't you have other patients to take care of?
Selena Samuels
*turns to him* I do. But you are also my patient. So, I guess you and I are stuck with each other for the time being
Vince Kingsley
*smiles a little*
Selena Samuels
I will see you later
She leaves the room and goes straight to Dr Miles's office. She was surprised Vince had spoken to her even though he hadn't said much. It still made her happy
She hurriedly made her way to his office to give him the news. As soon as she got there, she knocked on the door once and entered.
Dr Salvatore Miles
Selena. I expected you back sooner. What happened?
Selena Samuels
He spoke to me. He spoke to me.
Dr Salvatore Miles
What? Did you say he spoke to you?
Selena Samuels
*nods* he didn't say much to me though. And wasn't that pleased to have me there but at least he said something to me.
Dr Salvatore Miles
That is...wow
Selena Samuels
*smiles at herself*

I know you can do this. That is why I assigned you to him. But what exactly did he say to you?
Selena Samuels
He wanted to know why I had chosen to help him. And he asked me to go away.
Dr Salvatore Miles
*sighs* Let me tell you something about that boy. He's been through a lot. His father brought him here when he was just a child and never came back.
Selena Samuels
*expression changing* What?!
Dr Salvatore Miles
*nods slowly* Yes. I get why he does that. He was extremely aggressive when he was first brought in here but as time went on, he just became very quiet.
Dr Salvatore Miles
I don't want you to give up on him. Please help him.
Selena Samuels
I am going to help him. But he also has to give me consent. If he is not ready to get well, then my work might be very difficult.
Dr Salvatore Miles
I know what you can do. That is why I assigned you to him. I trust you to turn things around for him
Selena Samuels
*nods* You said his father brought him here and never came back for him? Like ever?
Dr Salvatore Miles
The boy has been here for the past fifteen years. None of his family has been here to see him or even talk to him.
Selena Samuels
That's terrible
Selena Samuels
Okay. I will do my best to help him. But as I said, it will also depend on him.
Dr Salvatore Miles

Vince was back in his old position in which Selena had seen him earlier when a knock was heard on his door. He just sighed and looked away when someone entered
Vince Kingsley
*smiles brightly* Yohan

*goes to hug him*
Yohan Miles
Aww, you missed me already?
They go to sit on his bed
Vince Kingsley
*shakes his head*
Yohan Miles
*turning serious*
Yohan Miles
You had that dream again, didn't you?
Vince Kingsley
*nods slowly* I don't understand why I keep having these dreams after all these years. I wish I could just forget everything
Yohan Miles
*sighs* Vince, I know it's been hard for you. But I am sure you will get over it. If you have been able to stay here for 15 years without going crazy like I almost did, then you can do anything
Vince Kingsley
*sad* I don't think so. My doctors all gave up on me. My family doesn't want to see me. And I am lonely here. It's tiring.
Yohan Miles
But you have me? I'm your friend. Don't be like that.
Yohan Miles
*gets up and goes to pull Vince up with him*
Yohan Miles
Come, let's go out for a walk.
Vince Kingsley
I don't feel like going out
Yohan Miles
Come on. We are just going out to the garden. Let's get some air. Staying indoor won't do any good for you. Let's go.
Vince Kingsley
*sighs and gets up*
Yohan Miles
*pulled him to the door with him towards the garden*
Yohan Miles
Let's sit over there.
They both sit down on the bench in the beautiful garden
They watch the beautiful fountain ahead of them that seemed to be flowing back into the small lake
Yohan Miles
Isn't it beautiful?
Vince Kingsley
It is. It is very refreshing as well. Thank you
Yohan Miles
I was only helping.
Vince Kingsley
*sighs happily*
Vince Kingsley
I have a new doctor now
Yohan Miles
Really, that's great
Vince Kingsley
I don't want her. I don't anyone bothering me anymore and putting me through so much tests and stress
Yohan Miles
Why? Did she already start running tests on you?
Vince Kingsley
No, no. She was kind of sweet to me actually.
Yohan Miles
Then, what's the problem?
Vince Kingsley
I just...*sighs again*
Yohan Miles
Listen, Vince. I understand that you have been through some of the worst doctors ever. But, that does not mean you should give up already. Who knows, this doctor might be the one to help you eventually?
Vince Kingsley
I just don't know
Yohan Miles
How will you know if you don't give her a chance, huh?
Vince Kingsley
I guess you are right. It's just that I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm tired of all of them just doing what they want without my consent
Yohan Miles
You are going to be fine. I'm sure of it
Vince Kingsley
*smiles a little*
The day went fairly well for all of them until the next morning when Selena came back to visit Vince. It annoyed him to see her there again, even though he had promised to give her a chance
Selena Samuels
Hi. Did you sleep well?
Vince Kingsley
*looks her up and down* Yes
Selena Samuels
Good. So, can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Vince Kingsley
Everything you need to know about me might be in one of the numerous files out there. So are you asking me?
Selena Samuels
Because I want to know you better.
Vince Kingsley
Do you do that with all your patients?
Selena Samuels
It depends.
Selena Samuels
On what I find out about them
Vince Kingsley
And what did you find out about me?
Selena Samuels
Quite a lot. But I wanted to hear about them from you
Vince Kingsley
Listen, Doctor
Selena Samuels
I'm sorry if it feels like I'm overstepping any boundaries here. I just want to get to know you and know how well I can help you. I don't think that is a bad thing
Vince Kingsley
*sighs* It's not.
Selena Samuels
*smiles* Okay then
Selena Samuels
Maybe is should tell you a little about myself

I'm Dr Selena Samuels. I am 25 years old and a psychiatrist. I love my job and I am passionate about helping all my patients to get the best care they can have.
Vince Kingsley
25? You look quite younger than that.
Vince Kingsley
Yeah. You could pass for a 20 year old
Selena Samuels
Well, thank you.
Vince Kingsley
*rolls his eyes*
Vince Kingsley
They said I have schizophrenia.
Selena Samuels
Well, that can be managed with the right medications and care
Vince Kingsley
But your other doctors don't think that. They think I can't be helped because I wasn't cooperating like they said
Vince Kingsley
No. I didn't like their methods. They treat me like I am some object without feelings. They just do things to me without my consent
Selena Samuels
And you are afraid I might do things to you without your consent?
