I asked giving him a wide smile.

"I am fine, but you know how much I missed you?"
He quickly pulled me in a hug.

"I know, I missed you too but what can I do. My dad don't allow me to go out without any bodyguard. I need to make excuses to come for meeting you."
I pouted and he chuckled.

"So what excuse you made today?"
He stared in my eyes caressing my hairs. It feels good to be in his arms.

"Uhh I said him that I want to get a tattoo that's why I am going to a famous tattoo artist."

"I even said him that I don't need any bodyguard and I can go there alone but still 1 guard came with me."

He showed me various images for selecting.

He pointed to the one 1 I selected and I nodded in response.

"Fine then lay down. I will make it for you."
He settled his things on the table and I layed on my stomach on a bed. I decided to make a tattoo on my back. I hope it will look good.
It was already more than 30 minutes. Isn't he done yet? I am eagerly waiting to see the tattoo. How long is he going to take more?

"Yeah, it's almost done. Wait for few minutes."

He removed the left over ink and I looked at his expression.

He chuckled and brought a mirror and also clicked a photo of the tattoo.

I took the phone from his hand.
I covered my mouth and my eyes widen. Wow! It was really beautiful. It was a bit painful but it was worth it. It turned out really beautiful...

"How is it? Why you aren't saying anything?"
He leaned closer to see the picture. He peeked in the phone and looked up to see my face.

"What happened? Are you happy or not? Is it not good?"

"It really great. You are a great tattoo artist. Thank you!"
I exhilarated throwing my arms around his neck and pulling him closer.

He was a bit surprised first and then I heard his chuckle.

I tried to pull back as I wanted to see his face but he hold the back of my head with his hand and wrapped his other hand around my waist giving me butterflies in my belly.

"Nothing is funny. It's just your reaction was so cute. I know you are happy and thank you for your appreciation!"
I playfully slapped his hand pulling back from the hug.

"You know you are so good at this and I am proud of you."
I showed him a thumbs up with a smile and he smiled back.

"Thank you sweetheart and I am proud of you too."
He pinched my cheeks lightly and gave me a quick peck on my lips.
My eyes widen and I covered my lips.

"Stop! What if my guard sees us?"
I looked towards the door panicking and he scoffed. I turned back to face him.
Paxton Smith (Serena's bf)
"Oh so you can hug me but I can't kiss you? When you hug me your guard becomes blind or what?"

"That's not what I meant"-
I saw my bodyguard coming towards the studio through the glass door.
I quickly pushed Paxton away and signed him to look towards the door and I acted like I was checking the tattoo in the mirror.
He opened the door and came inside the studio.

"Ms. Serena, are you done? Mr. Williams just called me and he want to see you as soon as possible."

"Hmm dad? Why, what's the reason?"
Sabir (Guard)
"I don't know too."
He shrugged and I looked towards Paxton. He was not looking at us but I know his attention was towards our conversation.

"Fine, I am done anyway... Just payment is remaining... I will do it and will come out. You wait in the car."
I adjusted my clothes and got down from the bed.

"Oh should I do the payment?"

"Oh no need... Uh.. You know, actually I have a lucky coupon of this studio."

"I will get a discount on that. So I will just do it. You go now... Wait for me outside."

"We don't need any discount, Ms. Serena."
I sighed and went near the guard.

"No we need it. I have decided to save as many money as I can. I mean I know there's no need of that but still.. Trust me."

He was not convinced but still he took few steps back and turned around to leave.
I looked towards Paxton and sighed in relief.

"No I can't do that, atleast for now. I will tell him soon so don't worry about it."

I grabbed my purse from the table aside.

He smirked and I rolled my eyes scoffing at his words.

He took some steps closer towards me and I understood his intentions.
I smirked internally and looked towards him innocently.

His tone was seductive which made me feel shivers. He hold my arm and pulled me closer.

I bite my lower lip and nodded looking in his eyes.
His gaze fell down on my lips and a smirk pull over his face.
He leaned closer and our lips were just inches apart.
My eyes widen at the sound of the car's horn and I stepped back from him.

"I think I should leave now or else my dad will really lock me in a room."
Paxton Smith (Serena's bf)
"Yeah and I hope you will tell your father about us soon so we will not need to meet like this... Hiding from everyone."
I nodded and patted his cheek.
I quickly paid for the tattoo even if Paxton was denying it but how can I not! He worked for it and how can he do free it for me just because I am his girlfriend?
I came near the car and my bodyguard opened the door of the backseat for me.
I missed Paxton so much. We don't meet each other for I don't even know how many days.
Dad don't allow me to go out and it really gets hard to meet him when I have guards around me almost everytime when I go out.
I looked out the window.. 'Should I tell dad about Paxton? Will he accept our relationship? What should I do?' Such thoughts were continuously running in my mind in the whole ride.
Chp 2
I got out of the car as Maria was waiting for me outside.

"You know why dad called me?"
Maria (Maid)
"No I don't know. I tried to ask him but I got no success."

"Fine."
Maria was daughter of one of our maids. She used to stay with us with her mother. I was alone child so sometimes I used to play with her.
Her parents didn't had money to teach her so she works here like a maid but for me she is always like a friend.
Even though I had got a lot of lectures from dad for not staying with her but I got really close to her.

"Umm I guess"-

"So you are finally here, huh?"
Maria's words were cut off by a stern voice.

He came towards us with a smile on his face.

He hold my shoulders and I looked at him confusingly.

"You have really grown up honey!"
What's going on? I looked at Maria. She was standing a bit away from me with a worried expression.
He called one of our dresser.

"Take her to her room and dress her up. She should look pretty. You understood?"
He announced and everyone around us bowed down. I am getting worse feeling from this.
I need to know what's going on. I need to get down soon.
Maria also didn't told me anything about this. She always used to help me with getting ready but dad didn't allowed her today because she might tell me what's going on.
Whatever it is, I need to find out. I sighed.

"Your makeup is done mam. You are ready to go down. Mr. Russo might be waiting for you."
Dad had called three women specially for my makeup.
What's the reason? Why am I getting ready?

I smiled towards them and they bowed and started to pack their things to leave.
I looked towards the mirror for the last time.
I chose the simplest dress out of the options dad gave me.
He wanted me to choose better dress than this but I think it's good. It fitted perfectly on me and I feel more comfortable in black so that's also one reason why I selected it.
I came out of my room. My room was on the second floor so I was going downstairs.
There was a man standing in a navy blue tuxedo with three guards around him in the hall.
Who is he? And what is he doing here at my house? Did dad invited him?
I went near him clearing my throat.

"Umm, excuse me."
My tone was very polite. He turned and faced me making an eye contact.
Showing his hazel green eyes shining brightly.
His facial features were sharp, handsome and attractive. We can say that, I am not saying anything anyway.

"Who are you?"
Huh? That's what I want to know.
He looked down at me. I guess he was like 6’3 and I was 5’4. I am really shorter than him.

"I should ask you this question. Who are you?"

"Mind your business Ms. I am not interested."
His voice turned cold. He turned back again facing his back to me.
But wait... What the heck! What did he just said?

He turned back to face me again gritting his teeth.

He took a step closer and I looked up at him. I shook of my head and straighten my back.

I stomped my foot on the ground and clenched my fist.

Who do he think he is, huh?

I think he is one of his bodyguard.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled ignoring his guard

I muttered under my breath but by looking at the man's expression I guess he heard me.
I looked away from him and saw dad coming downstairs. I went towards him.

"Dad? What's happening and do you know that man down standing there."
I pointed towards him and dad nodded.

"Yeah, he is our guest. His family is coming too. He is waiting for them."
Oops! I talked with him rudely, didn't I?
But he started it. I asked him nicely, but he answered me in mean way what I could have done anyway.

"By the way you are looking good but I told you to choose better than this one."

"I know but I like this one more."

"Anyway why have I gotten ready? What's the reason? Is there something special?"

"Yeah there is. Let's first go down. You will get answers to all of your questions, ok?"
He started walking but I called him.

"Dad, you go ahead. I just have one last thing to do."

"Ok but don't be late."
I nodded and went towards that man again. I know I am making a mistake.
I don't want to do this but what if he complaints to my dad that I shouted on him and talked rudely with him! Then dad will really scold me and I don't want that.
I don't want any rumors like daughter of Mr. Williams is really rude and mean.
At the end he is just someone my dad knows.

I whispered to myself and this time I went in front of him so he don't need to turn back.

He said as soon as he saw me in front of him.
I breathed deeply, I need to calm down. I should control my anger. I forced a smile.

He chuckled and leaned closer towering me looking down making an eye contact.

I grumbled frustratingly and he smirked. He came more closer and I looked up at him.
What is he doing? Why is he leaning closer?
What do he want? His eyes were staring at me and I felt like I got caught in them.

"That's not how you apologize Ms."
He whispered near my ear and I can feel his breath on my shoulder.
What's wrong with me? Why am I nervous?
I stepped back from him maintaining distance between us and snapped my index finger towards him.

"Just accept it, ok? I will not say it again."
I grumbled and turned back to walk away.
His chuckle is the last thing I heard before storming away from him.
Ugh, he is really annoying!
I came in the hall with dad. Two men were sitting on the sofa and a woman.
One man approximately of dad's age and another was younger than me I guess. That woman was middle aged too.
The question is who are they?
I think they could be someone closest persons of dad. He might want me to meet them and want to introduce them to me.
Three of them smiled when they saw us coming and stood up.

"Oh it's ok! Please sit down."
Three of them sat again and I sat too in front of them beside dad.

"Oh you are really pretty."
The lady said. I observed her, she was really beautiful. Even though she was middle aged but she had really maintained her.

"Yeah she is gorgeous."
I plastered a smile and straighten my back sitting confidently in front of them.

"I don't have much time for this. Let's just settle this quickly."
A cold and sterned voice of a male came from behind me which grabbed our attention.
I turned behind to see who he was!
Huh? This tuxedo guy again?
Just the short conversation I had with him I understood that he is rude. Definitely a rude personality that doesn't go with me.
Same question again. Who is he? And what does he meant by settling things?
What's going on? He came near us and sat with three of them.
Is this his family he was waiting for?

"So this is my daughter, Serena."
Everyone's eyes landed on me and I felt awkward. I awkwardly smiled and slightly bowed.

I looked towards dad leaning closer to him.

I am getting married and I am getting to know about it now?
And that too with this tuxedo mean guy? What's happening?

"Dad we need to talk. This is not possible."
I started to walk towards my room quickly to get away from them as soon as possible.

"Serena... Listen to me!"
But I didn't stopped or turned back.

"Don't worry I will make her agree for this marriage."
That's the last thing what I heard from dad and I came upstairs in my room.
I changed the dress wearing my casual clothes.
I sat on a chair in front my dressing table. I was looking at myself in the mirror.

What about Paxton? I don't want to leave him. I want to marry him and not that f*cking mean guy.
Ugh, my head hurts! I started massaging my temples.

Maria opened the door and I saw her smiling face when she came in vision.
She had a chocolate shake in her hands.
She placed the shake in front of me on the table and sat beside me on a stool.

I sighed rolling my eyes.

She shouted which made me stop talking and looked towards the shake she brought. I took it in my hands and grumbled.

"First of all calm down."
Maria (Maid)
"I know it's really shocking for you but just relax for few minutes."

"There might be some reason why Mr. Williams is doing this."

"Talk with him, ask him why is he doing this."
She said calmly and I listened to her drinking the shake.
She was older than me and I always thought of her as my elder sister as I was the only child.
She used to take care of me. I always shared things with her which I hesitated to tell my dad.

"Yeah and see I got this new tattoo. He made it for me."
I turned my back towards her to show her the tattoo.

"I know right. I loved it too."

"He was telling me today about informing dad about our relationship ."
I said moving the straw in the glass.
Maria (Maid)
"Really? So what are you going to do now?"

"I told him that it's not correct time yet. But I think I will need to talk about it with dad now."
I kept the glass aside and leaned my head on the dressing table. I used my arms for the support and rested my head on the table.
Maria (Maid)
"Look. Whatever you decide it needs to be your choice."
Maria (Maid)
"Do you wanna agree to this arrange marriage or not? Think about it properly."
Maria (Maid)
"And about Paxton, do you think your dad will agree with your choice?"

"Take your time, Serena."
I didn't responded to her. She stood up and took the glass in her hand.

"I know you will get through this. You will do something about this, right?"
She patted my head and I nodded forcing a smile to her.
She turned and left the room closing the door behind her.
What am I going to do now?
I closed my eyes and didn't understood when sleep caught me in her arms.
I flinched and quickly straighten my back. What's this? Why was I sleeping here near the dressing table?
I looked in the mirror. My mascara was a bit smudged and eyes were swollen as I was crying.
The door opened making a sound and my head quickly snapped towards the door.
Tuxedo guy came in my vision and my eyes widen.
He looked around in the room straightening his tuxedo.

He sighed and looked towards me.

He shrugged and I went towards him and stopped maintaining some distance between us.

My eyes widen when I understood what he meant.

When our eyes met I could see myself in his eyes. His eyes darken and suddenly his gaze felt down from my eyes to lips.
My cheeks started turning red. What's happening to me? Why is he coming so close to me?

I muttered taking a tissue and makeup remover to wipe out the mascara.

He said and I sighed. I think he will leave now.
I turned my head but saw him sitting on my bed.

He left closing the door behind him leaving alot of questions in front of me.
How am I going to come out from this situation now?
I need to talk with dad about Paxton and I should tell Paxton about this marriage thing.
I checked the caller's name and it showed Paxton's name which automatically brought a smile on my face.
I received it clearing my throat.
