SEJUN'S POV

I'm currently heading to the park... Usually, I meet my friends there. We don't do anything speacial, but once we are done working, we gather there to dance and sing. Just as a hobbie.

I'm currently working in a video games design company. The truth is that I love what I do, and that not gonna lie, I win a decent quantity of money.

I can't ask for anything else, I love my life. My parents are proud of me, I have a younger sister who's also proud and ready to help whenever I need it... Then, what's wrong with me? I feel empty... There's something missing...

Those kind of thoughts have been stuck inside my head for the past months... And since I didn't know what to do, I decided to try new stuff. I don't actually know if this is what I needed to feel relieved...

But damn it, now it's too late. I did this... I decided to get some tattoos... Crazy, I wonder what will my friends think about it... Here in Korea, they are not fans of tattooed people, but dude, I wanted to do it, so why not?

-Sejun: Hey there guys... (smiles and waves)

-Friend 1: Sejun! Oh, woah... You got tattoos?

-Sejun: Yup... What do you think, I look cool, right?



-Friend 1: Yeah, it's cool... But why so suddenly?

-Sejun: I don't know... It's just because I wanted to try something new...

-Friend 1: You look like a bad boy, but your personality is just the opposite... (chuckles)

-Sejun: Yeah, I know... (chuckles) Well, let's go back to what we came to do...

-Friend 2: Yeah, music on in... 1...2...3...

We all run to our spots, and once the music started we did what we always do. We started dancing and singing... It's really fun, it's also really tiring, but I love learning new choreographies and so...

JYP'S POV

-Some hours before-

We are actually in a urgent reunion since we have the biggest crisis ever! What are we going to do?! Twice's popularity is decreasing really fast... What should we do?

-JYP: Okay, so... Does any of you have an actual idea to solve it?

-Worker 1: We should try new concepts?

-JYP: If we do so, we may have the possibilities of having a negative answer... Don't you have anything better?

-Worker 2: What if we just focus on the new group, Itzy? They are the new generation, and sooner or later, Twice will need to disband...

-JYP: (glares at him)

-Worker 3: It's PD-nim's fave group, we can't do so... We must try to solve the problem with something new and fresh...

-JYP: What a relief that someone is actually using his brain... (sighs) Ah~ What should we do?

-Secretary: Kard is winning popularity, not only here in Korea, but also worldwide...

-JYP: So? What does it have to do with our situation? (confused)

-Worker 3: (gasps) We should add another member to Twice!

-JYP: Another member? A trainee? The age gap is way too much...

-Worker 1: Or we can just look for a boy outside... There must be someone good enough to join the group without a need of training... Don't you think?

-JYP: Secretary... Let's look for that boy! (determined)

-Time skip some hours later-

-JYP: Stop the car...

-Driver: What's wrong sir?

-JYP: Why is there that much people reunited there?

-Secretary: It seems like there's a street performance...

-JYP: Street performance, huh?

-Secretary: Sir?

-JYP: (exits the car) Let's take a closer look... I want to see how the performers are...

-Secretary: Sir, you are not planning to get one of these boys, right?

-JYP: Do you know that sometimes you just need to be on the right time at the exact place? So, this is it... Fate brought me to the solution (smiles)

We head to where they are performing, and wow, they are really good. They move effortlessly, but still with exact moves and really synchronize... Amazing.

The vocals, they look kinda stable, but there's one of them who's doing it better than anyone... Who's that boy? The tattooed one... He looks great too, he could easily be the new member of Twice.



-JYP: That's the boy... Bring him to our building... The tattooed one... (smiles and returns to the car)

SEJUN'S POV

We finished dancing when suddenly, someone dragged me pulling my arm... What the hell is going on here? I look at her and I can't recognize her, I'm cent per cent sure that I don't know her...

-Sejun: Excuse me! Who are you? I don't know you... Could you please let me go?! I think that you have confused me with someone else...

-Woman: I didn't. We were looking for you... You are coming with us to JYP...

-Sejun: JYP? (confused) Why would we head there?

-Woman: You'll become an idol, part of Twice, no discussion, and lot of money for you I exchange... Is that okay?

-Sejun: Eh?

-Woman: Great, you already have their costumes... (chuckles)

She made me enter a car, and since I couldn't resist, we headed to JYP. This is weird... Like seriously... Me? Becoming an idol? Haha, thanks no. I'm happy designing new video games...

-Sejun: What if I refuse to become an idol?

-Woman: You won't (smiles) You'll like it... (guides you to an office)

-Sejun: But this is too rushed...

-Woman: It is not, we've planned this for quite a long time... (smiles) C'mon, meet PD-nim... Or how you probably know him, JYP (pushes you inside the office and closes the door)

-Sejun: Wait! (sighs) I've been kidnapped...

-JYP: That's a funny way to put it (laughs)

-Sejun: Woah... It's really JYP, I'm not dreaming... (jaw dropped)

-JYP: Yeah (chuckles) This is all real... (smiles) So, what's your name?

-Sejun: Me? I'm Jeon Sejun... (bows)

-JYP: Welcome to JYP Sejun-ssi... (smiles) Look, you are here because we need your help... We are planning to make Twice a mixed group... Their popularity is decreasing, and since mixed groups are becoming popular...

-Sejun: You want me to turn into a new Twice member?

-JYP: Exactly (smiles) I've seen your skills and you don't even need training... You are perfect... By the way, what's your age?

-Sejun: I'm from 1996, I'll turn 24 the 8th of August...

-JYP: Fantastic... You are perfect, you would be the second older... (chuckles)

-Sejun: Wait, why are you planning that much if I didn't accept yet?



-JYP: My secretary has investigated you while I kept you busy here with me... And she had discovered that you won't refuse because...

-Sejun: Because?

-JYP: You'll do this for your brother...

-Sejun: (serious) How do you know that?

-JYP: I told you, they just investigated you, you were three siblings but he lost his live in a bus accident when he was traveling with his class... He wanted to be an idol, right?

-JYP: We'll solve all the paper works and we'll pay you better (smiles) C'mon, join JYP and Twice!

-Sejun: But they are all girls...

-Sejun: That's not the point... It's just that it'll be uncomfortable...

-JYP: It won't, if you sign this contact, we'll buy a bigger dorm so you can have your own room... (smiles) C'mon Sejun, it's your chance...

I then bow and return to the park after calling my friends to tell them that I'm okay and that nothing happened to me. Oh my god... This is to sudden...

But, in another hand, I'll accomplish my twin brother's dream. I'll become an idol just for him... I mean, I can always return back to design video games when I finish the idol career... What could go wrong as a Twice member?

SEJUN'S POV

-Time skip two weeks later-

-Mom: You don't need to do this for Jihoon... You know that he wouldn't like it if he saw you forcing yourself to do something like this...

-Sejun: Mom, I already took a decision, there's no way back... (smiles softly) Plus, I wanted to try something new, maybe having this new objective will take away that empty feeling I had... (srughs)

-Mom: I'm really sad that your dad and your sister are not here right now to say goodbye to you... (smiles) However, we'll always support you, so show them what you are capable of... And if you ever need anything, just come back, understood?

-Sejun: (chuckles) Don't worry, I'm just becoming an idol mom, I'm not heading to a war or something like that... (kisses her cheek) Cheer for me once you see me at the stage...

-Mom: I sure will dear... (smiles and waves)

Then, the secretary who dragged me the first day appears in a black van. I put my suitcase at the back of the car with some other belongings and get inside. I can't belive that I'm seriously becoming an idol...

-Secretary: Good morning (smiles)

-Sejun: Yeah, good morning... (smiles weakly)



-Secretary: Are you still sleeping?

-Sejun: Oh no, it's just... Well, I'm worried about how will all of this work out...

-Secretary: You don't need to worry as long as you follow our instructions... Did you study the members profiles so you can recognize them?

-Sejun: Yeah, yeah, I did... I can recognize the nine of them... (smiles)

-Secretary: Good job, that'll make it easier... (smiles) They are waiting for you at the new dorm along JYP...

-Sejun: Okay...

-Secretary: Aren't you nervous?

-Sejun: Why would I?

-Secretary: You are about to meet the nation's girlgroup... I don't know, mostly all the boys at your age would be dying in your situation... (chuckles)

-Sejun: They are just a bunch of girls who can sing and dance really well, in other words, they are artist. And being an artist is just another job, just like being a doctor, policeman or whatever... (srughs) I'm happy for working with such talented people, but I'm not nervous... They are just doing their job...

-Secretary: Wooh... That sounded really mature, let's see what you say once you meet them... (smirks) They can leave you speechless with their visuals...

-Sejun: I'm ready, it won't be a problem (chuckles)

-Secretary: Okay, we are here... (smiles)

The driver parks the van, and once I have grabbed my suitcase, we get inside the dorm... I can see JYP's building from here... That's cool, we won't need to walk that much...

-Secretary: Follow me... (smiles)

I nod and follow her until what seems like it's the living room... It is big, I like that, we'll be ten persons here so having space enough is a must. Wait, why is it this noisy?

-Sejun: Are we having neighbors?

-Secretary: Why are you asking?

-Sejun: That noise...

-Secretary: Oh... (chuckles) Well, it's just what the girls usually do... They are normally this noisy or even more...

-Sejun: Eh? The girls are the responsibles of this noise?!

-Secretary: Yeah (smiles) Welcome to Twice!

-JYP: Oh Sejun-ssi! Good morning, you are finally here... (smiles)

-Sejun: PD-nim... (smiles and bows)

-JYP: Girls, he's the new member that I talked you about... (smiles)

-Twice: (mumbling different and random stuff)

-JYP: Can you please introduce yourself?

-Sejun: Yeah (smiles) Good morning, my name is Jeon Sejun... Nice to meet you, let's work hard together (bows)



-JYP: Girls...

-Jihyo: Okay, let's introduce ourselves too (smiles)

-Twice: One in a million annyeonghaseyo twice imnida! (bowing too)

-JYP: Well, so since you don't know anything about each other yet... I'm gonna leave you alone with Sejun so you get to know him... (smiles) Let's say that your homework for the following two weeks is to show him around and to get along...

-Twice: Okay!

-JYP: With that said... Let's go (smiles and leaves with his secretary)

Wait! You haven't told me about my room yet... Aish, I guess it is way too late... He left me here, alone with Twice... What do I do now?

-Sejun: Uhm...

-All: Yeah?

-Sejun: Can any of you guide me to my room? (smiles)

-Jihyo: Yeah, of course... Let's see... Dahyunie, why don't you guide Sejun... Sejun oppa? Are you older than us?

-Sejun: I'm from the 96 line, my birthday is the 8th of August... (smiles)

She walks ahead of me at a fast pace... Why is she acting this weird? If I'm not wrong, the papers that JYP passed me, said that she was one of the most extra members... She looks... Kind of shy?

-Dahyun: (avoiding your gaze) T-This is your room...

-Sejun: Is there any problem?

-Dahyun: Eh? Problem? (confused)

-Sejun: It's just that it feels like you don't want to look at me...

-Dahyun: Ah sorry, this is just way too sudden... Living with a guy so suddenly is just... Crazy... And also really embarrassing, sorry I can't help it but to be really embarrassed (hides behind her hair)

-Sejun: (chuckles) If it helps you, I must say that I'm totally embarrassed too... I wasn't planning to join, I rejected the offer at first...

-Dahyun: You don't have any weird intention?

-Sejun: What? Of course not... (laughs) I'm just here because of my brother, if not I would still be working as my other profession... (smiles and starts unpacking)



-Dahyun: You had another job?

-Sejun: Yeah (smiles) Actually, I'm a video game designer...

-Dahyun: Woah, that's really cool... We have a member who loves to play video games... (smiles) You may get along with her really well...

-Sejun: Really? I think it'll be hard to get along with everyone at first... I mean, this is probably really tense right now... (sighs and smiles)

-Dahyun: Yeah... (smiles) Well, I'll let you to unpack peacefully... Call any of us if you need anything... Later on, we'll show you around the dorm, okay?

-Sejun: Yeah, thanks Dahyun-ssi... (smiles)

-Dahyun: Oppa, you know, we are about to work together... Don't be that formal, call me just Dahyun or Dubu how the rest does... (chuckles)

-Sejun: Okay, I'll take it into account (smiles)

Dahyun then leaves the room and heads back with the rest. I guess that now there's no way back. I'm here, as a new member of Twice. And I'm gonna be an idol. Yeah, that's how it is, from now on, I'll need to work hard.
