It's midnight. Everyone is asleep except for the tavern at the end of the town. He still finds it weird as though why it is so far away. But it doesn't matter. He took too many cups of wine. No tolerance does he have to the alcohol, the world moves in slow motion. Atleast in his mind. He feels a slight buzz in his veins. It helps him forget the events that he saw with his own eyes.Just for a while though. It circulates around his mind like a loop, unbreakable, as he witnessed his lover, or "exlover" taste another man's lips. Today was supposed to be their 1st anniversary. But alas, what awaited him when he went to their sacred place was another man in his place. He froze when he saw them. The air stilled.None of them were aware of his presence, too immersed in each other. ???? slid his hand to his beloved's face, tucking the stray hair to her ear, his face nearing closer as his lips met hers. The air turned to pure ice. His body unfroze, and stepped back, clearly appaled as he left the place, with a broken heart in his hands. You might be wondering, why did he leave so quick?..... Before her left, through the corner of his vision, he saw his beloved put her hands in his hair, encouraging him. ..

Suddenly, the sound of the bell rang through the tavern, signaling someone's arrival. Something in him was curious about this new customer, as nobody came to the tavern past midnight. When he opened his eyes, he saw an unfamiliar woman, her mysterious aura calling out to him. Her long, black, wavy hair fell down her shoulders, her dress, the colour of dark violet, hugging her curves, and black gloves which ran up to her elbows. He was surprised she didn't attract any attention. His eyes diverted as she took a seat to the chair opposite to him, his cheeks flushing as he slowly realised that he was giving her quite the stare. "I apologize Madame for staring at you.. "" It's quite alright, I get the feeling that you didn't mean any harm, now tell me, what's a prince like you doing here?"
The way she spoke, he could tell that she wasn't from around here. Perhaps another country? He toyed with his wooden cup, staring at it for a while, before he replied, "A man will only come here to drink away his sorrows"" Hm.. That's not right. I have seen plenty of men getting drunk, they had the biggest smiles in their faces,.. Perhaps this only applies to you now?" "... Maybe." At that moment, The drink she ordered came, and took a sip. It seems that the tavern accepted her , without any doubt. Suddenly , her plum coloured eyes caught his ocean blue ones, twinkling with mischief. "Why don't we play a little game then? " A game?" "Yes, a harmless game of Truth Or Dare."he stared at her, at a loss of words as he sobered up at her question. A harmless game she said, yet her eyes told a different story. He was never the one to engage in these things -or perhaps, not allowed to. While others sold him out, this tavern became his haven. The people here trusted him, and he trusted them back. For just one day.. He wants to be like any other man coming here, wanting to be free.he looked at her again, their gazes collided, as he spoke, "I would love to, if you don't mind."
