There were four humans who were the most powerful on this earth. They were called The Supremes. Their powers were based on the five elements of matter 'The Panchtatva' that were found by the ancient philosophers. The first was Anastasia that had powers that can manipulate fire, the second is John who could use the power of water, the third was Victor whose power was based on wind, and last but not least and my favourite Scar who had the power based on the element earth.

After 10 years of their introduction to humans, a war broke out between the villains and the heroes. Villains were really powerful at that time they had many different kinds of powers like mind manipulation and even immortality heroes won that war but they didn't want this to happen again because of this reason they chose a baby that was born on the day when the war was won by heroes and granted the baby there fifty per cent of powers but surprisingly the baby didn't die.

It was separated from the heroes because of a villain who had the power of dark magic and immortality. Everybody calls him The Mercenary nobody knows his real name yet. He was the king of villains who led the war at that time."

"Mom, you are again telling the children about that story. I know you like them but don't you remember that they destroyed Tasir?"

"They did it to save us."

"No Mom, it was our hometown our home was destroyed."

"I know that they had a good intention behind it."

Eleanor's Pov:

"El, come here. I see a fish over here in the pond. It is really beautiful."

"It is beautiful."

"El, one man has come to adopt you."

"Why does anybody come? They adopt me and after two to three days they leave me here again. Let's see now who came, nobody told him about the rumours."

I went to the reception and there I saw a tall man standing. He was pretty skinny. His looks were commendable, he had green eyes, dark brown hair and he had a cut on his upper lip at the right corner.

"Hi kid, he is the one who came to adopt you. Say Hi."

"Hey"

He slightly nodded and then got the papers and gestured for me to hold his hand. I did but I had a strange feeling about him.

We got in his car and the drive was of about two hours, I got out of the car. I saw that it was the only house there and couldn't see any other house out there. The house was average-looking. The house had two floors.

Many questions were arising in my mind but I remained calm and then was trying to say but he said,"I know you have too many questions in your mind and I must tell you that I don't like unecessary questions and my name is Ray, your bedroom is upstairs and if you want anything to eat just tell me. Today you will rest, we will try to do pratice tomorrow."

"What kind of practice?"

"I will tell you about it tomorrow."

I went upstairs and saw my room, I thought it would be pink because according to the generalization of the society girls like pink and boys like blue. But when I opened the door it was my favourite colour blue. I didn't know he would take care of my favourite colour as how ignorant he was.

I placed my bag and opened it when he entered the room and saw my clothes he said," You have this type of clothes?"

"What do you expect from a girl living at an orphanage to have which kind of clothes?"

"Well, they are quite awful?"

What does he think he is? And why does he think that I will have expensive clothes?

Oh my God does he have any common sense? I know I don't have a good temper but I certainly can't deal with him.

He is so nosy and what had he said I don't like unnecessary questions then why does he ask them?

Argh! I am going mad. Let me calm myself first. Breathe in, breathe out huf. "Do you think that I have enough money to buy good-quality clothes? I said calmly.

"I didn't mean that but at least they could have provided you with some good clothes they look second-hand."

He is irritating me. Calm down El, calm down."What work do you have with me, sir?"

"Don't call me sir. Why don't you call me Ray?"

"Okay, Ray. I am asking you politely 'Get out of my room'"

"That certainly wasn't polite but okay let's go shopping."

"Do you have the money you don't like you have any money in your pockets?"

"Of course I have money what do you take me for?"

"Fine, then let's go but it seems that the shopping mall is quite far from here."

"No, it's just a 20 mins ride from here."

I nodded and then we went to the car and guess what the car broke down and whose car it was 'his' and who was talking about money 'him'.

So I am in deep thought should I mock him or should I mock him? The answer is I should mock him."Hahaha, you were talking about money and now your car has broken down. Hahaha, such a big talker. "

He was looking irritated and I was enjoying it who would not? He was teasing me and now I got my revenge. Muahahaha okay that was too much.

I waited for half an hour so that he could fix the car. I have a secret all along I knew how to fix a car but I didn't tell him because I was enjoying watching him suffer.

Some of you would think that I am crazy I should have helped him but I can't help it. I am crazy so please forgive me if you can [puppy face (◠‿◕)]. He fixed the car and we went there.

The building was huge and for your kind information, I must tell you that I haven't seen a mall in all my life and if you are wondering how old am I?

I can't tell you because girls don't tell their age. I can tell you about it if you beg me but I know you wouldn't so anyways I got some clothes and they are all dark blue. Who doesn't like blue and especially when it's dark? I like light blue also it is good but a dark shade of blue is my favourite.

It's the next day we got home and then he made throw all my clothes. I was in my room all day. I asked him if I could get a phone and he said I will get my paycheck tomorrow. Then I asked him what work he does and he said he works in a company and I am quite eager to learn what the training was about. Yeah, I have some powers but does he know that?

Anyways I got up at 5 o'clock because Ray asked me to. We got a tracksuit yesterday too so I wore it and got downstairs where he was drinking a smoothie by looking at it I would see that it I could see that it did not taste good, "Good Morning"

"Morning"

"So can I now ask you about the training?"

"I want to ask one question first will you answer me honestly."

"Yeah, anything."

I said that, but I am doomed if he asks me about my power. "Why did every parent that adopted you left you behind?"

Shit! My cover has been blown. "Shall I tell you honestly or should I lie like I did every time?"

"Lies are sweet and truth is bitter and I prefer bitter things more than sweet things like these cornflakes are sweet but I prefer this smoothie which is better for my health."

"Thanks for informing me that it is bitter, I have some powers that's why they leave me and go they don't want a child with powers."

"So you know about it?"

What the heck, he didn't seem surprised or like any other normal person would react he was pretty calm. I guess he knew about it. Well, then what can I do about it? Let's stick to reality. "You also knew about it?"

"Hmm, Do you think that I made all this breakfast on my own. I can use telekinesis and I was able to read your mind every time you said anything bad about me. I can conclude that you can swear."

"Well, you are annoying so I can't do anything about it and you are a prick too."

"I didn't want to tell you that because you were cursing in your mind and now you are cursing me in front of my face."

"I guess, that's bad."

He is such an annoying prick and I don't give a **** if you are reading my mind. I smirked at him and he was looking well irritated. "So, about that training meet me in five minutes outside at the back of the house."

I nodded and sat down at the table grabbed a cereal and started eating with milk don't get the wrong idea. I went outside and it was raining how can it rain and I don't like rain when it rains I recalled some memories and started getting dizzy. "El, don't be scared. Fight back for controlling your power."

Some memories started flashing before me. A girl was standing she had some kind of black spark in her hand at the back I could see a house was destroyed and two humans were crushed underneath the broken house tears started streaming down her face she was calling mom dad. Some people came there they were wearing some superhero suits according to me they were five people and they were talking that this is such a good drama they have never been so excited for more than a hundred years and they were the Supremes. The heroes that everybody liked this was the reality behind their masks, I had three powers and I got them from my genes I can absorb anybody's powers, I can use dark magic, and I have a book related to it that was given by my mom it's called 'darkness within you'. I had never opened it or read it but my mom told me that if somebody read this book they can do anything with dark magic with a spell they can copy other's powers too.

I gained a conscience and Ray was sitting beside the bed. "Oh, all your memories and what you were thinking right now. Can you show me that book?"

"How can I trust you? You can steal it from me. You need to make a blood promise."

A blood promise is when two people put one drop of each of their blood they are bound by a spell and if they break this promise they will catch a disease that cannot be cured even if they have the powers of immortality. It decays your body and kills you in 5 days.

We made a blood promise and then I got the book in my suitcase there was a secret space underneath the clothes I hid the book there. "Here it is."

"Now I can train you better."
