The sun was bright and theirs the female student covering her eyes from the light. “Hey, Hayami we should hurry up or else we’ll be late!” Say the friend.

“Okay, Layla” reply Hayami. They both starts running. They got to school within 5 minutes before class starts.

“Phew that was a close one,” say Hayami.

“Yes,” reply Layla.

“We should hurry up to class”

“Then we should hurry”

Hayami heads back home to help her mom at a small restaurant. They own a eating place and she wants to volunteer so that she can earn money as a high school student.

“Ah!” Yelled Hayami and fell down to the ground.

“Sorry,” the stranger apologies. The stranger helps Hayami stands up.

“Hey you!” Yelled Hayami. She looks at the guy and woow the guy was handsome that it catches her heart.

“I’m sorry, Ms” apology the guy.

“No it’s fine”

“You sure”

“Yes”

“But your knee looks bad”

“Oh, I just notice”

“Here let me help you”

The guy takes Hayami to a near by station and bought bandage for her. He helps apply it for her and she starts blushing.

“This is like a dream come true where a handsome guy to help me but to bad I have Shiro,” Hayami thoughts.

“Sorry Ms,” say the guy.

“Oh it’s fine,” reply Hayami.

“I think I seen you somewhere”

“Oh really?”

“Are you from S**** high school”

“Yes, so does this mean your from there to?”

“Yes”

“what a coincidence”

“Yeah”

“What’s your name?”

“My name is Ota Yuki, and you?”

“My name is Suzuki Hayami”

“Okay”

“Uh...”

\~Awkward silence\~

“I will call you Ota then ”

“Yes and I will call you Suzuki”

“Yes!”

Hayami starts smiling happily. Yuki hearts start racing because of Hayami bright smile. Even though it’s night time he can still see her smile.

They both left in the opposite ways. It was dark and the moon starts showing already. “Guess I won’t be working today, better call mom,” whisper Hayami.

After Hayami finished calling her mom she went home. That night the moon was brighter than before and their goes Hayami looking at the moon.

“This make me want to see a song,” say Hayami.

Hayami starts singing, “Full Moon sways, Gently in the night of one fine day...”

After she sings, she decided to write a letter to her crush. She decided to be brave this time and her crush and her best friend whos been her friend since middle school.

She was very excited that night but nervous because she doesn’t know how her crush feels about her. What if he doesn’t want to be her best friend anymore because things would be awkward for both of them when he reject her? She got scare for a bit but she decided to take a risk for it.

“Why am I so nervous?” say Hayami, on her way to school. Today Shiro is walking with Hayami to school and so she was exciting, she also plan to give the letter to him during that time.

“Shiro?” Say Hayami.

“Yes?” Reply Shiro.

“Nevermind”

“Oh okay”

“Darn it, I can’t do it!” In Hayami thoughts. In class Shiro kepts touching Hayami hair to tease her a bit and they both starts laughing at the end.

During lunch, Hayami tolds her best friend Layla about it. “Hayami, I thought you say you been prepared telling him. How about putting the letter somewhere where he can find since you’re to scare to give to him in person.”

“That’s a good idea. How about I put it in his desk?” Hayami asks.

“That’s a good idea!” Layla yelled.

“Hey don’t yell, shush” say Hayami, covering Layla mouths quickly.

After classes finished, Hayami’s waited until everyone goes home and so she can put the letter under Shiro desk.

Hayami went into Shiro homeroom and put it under her desk until she heard the door opens. Hayami hides behind the desk quickly.

“You’re an idiot if you think I can’t see you hiding behind the desk,” say the stranger.

Hayami quickly stand up and yell, “Who are you to call me an idiot?!”

Hayami eyes widen, “oh it’s you?”

“What about me?” Say Yuki.

“Ota”

“So what are you putting in the desk?”

“Nothing!” Hayami quickly hides it

“You sure?”

“Yeah”

Yuki went towards Hayami and snatch the letter away.

“Hey!”

“Oh a love letter?”

“No, now give it back!”

“What if I say no?”

“Please”

“No”

“I can do anything to you so give me the letter”

“You sure?”

“Yes”

“Anything”

“Yes, but why are you making me nervous?”

“Because you have to be my helper for at least 4 months”

“What!?!”

“And I will keep the letter just in case you try to fool me”

“No! Then will you promise not to tell anyone?”

“Sure, as long as you’re with me”

“Wow, why does that sounds...romantic...?” In Hayami mind, blushes.

“You will have to come eat with everytime it’s lunch time and come to me everytime I call you”

“What? Okay fine”

“Okay”

Yuki smiles and walk away, “see you tomorrow then”. Hayami was pretty angry but she knows she has no choice but to follow what Yuki says or else he will expose her. She angerly walked out of the school and went directly to work.

She gots to work and put on her work clothes on, ties her hair up just in case her hair got in the way. “Can I have a strawberry ice cream for the kid” say the customer.

“Okay, coming right up” say Hayami.

“I want ice cream too” in Hayami mind. After work she starts digging in her ice-cream. She feels better after eatting it.

She kinda freak out what will happen tomorrow being Yuki’s helper for the rest of the 4 months. That’s a long time and so maybe that’s a chance for them to be closer, no one knows.

Hayami’s on her way to school feeling depress. “Hey, Hayami!” Shiro greets.

“Ah, hi” replies Hayami. They both walk to school today and Shiro says he has someone he wants to introduce to Hayami, it’s someone special. Hayami was excited not until she knows who it is. Shiro’s has a girlfriend that they just started dating yesterday.

Hayami’s tries to hide her tears away looking down. She pretends to be happy and congrats them. She couldn’t hold it and was about to cry but Yuki’s came in and took Hayami away to the roof. “Hey, why did you do that?” Hayami asked, cries.

“You know if I didn’t take you away then you will be crying in front of that guy and embarrass yourself,” say Yuki. Hayami starts crying harder and wiping her tears.

“So that’s the guy you like?” Yuki asks.

“Yes, so what? Me and him has been friend since middle school” Said Hayami. Yuki starts feeling bad and hug her.

“Stop crying, if you keep crying it makes me feel I was the one who makes you cry,” say Yuki.

“Sorry...” replies Hayami, wiping off her tears. Yuki saws that Hayami kept crying so he continue hugging her so that she will feel better. After Hayami finish crying, she realize that they both are hugging so she pushed Yuki away.

“Hey, why are you hugging me?” Hayami asked.

“And you hug me too” Yuki replied.

“Thank you” Hayami said, laughing.

Yuki replies, “Your welcome.” Yuki thought that Hayami smiles is sweet and so he starts blushing a bit. They head back to class. Hayami’s was distracted at what happen while in class.

At lunch time Hayami wents to find Yuki’s at his classroom. Hayami founds Yuki but was he was with a bunch of students so she doesn’t want to distract him, so she waited.

A few seconds later Yuki saw Hayami waiting for him so he smiles. He left the friend group and went toward her. “Hey,” said Yuki.

“That took you for a while” said Hayami.

Yuki replies, “Well, who told you to stand there like an idiot and not tell me.”

“But you’re surrounded by your friends and so I don’t want to distract you,” Hayami replies.

“Lets go then” say Yuki. They both went to go sit outside to eat. Yuki realizes that Hayami brought a handmade lunch so he took a bite at it.

“Hey that’s mine lunch!” Hayami shouted.

“Geez, you don’t need to scream. Anyway, it taste good” said Yuki. Hayami was mad for second and just let Yuki share with her because she doesn’t want to get expose.

After classes ended Yuki tells Hayami to walk with him. “I think you will need my number,” say Yuki.

“Ah, yes” replies Hayami. They both exchange numbers and they became awkward. Yuki got bored and starts poking Hayami cheeks.

“Hey what is that for!?” Hayami shouted.

“Nothing,” say Yuki replied. He enjoys teasing Hayami because of her reaction. He likes her to shout at him for a reason he just think that it’s funny because her face turn tomato when she’s mad.
