Lance was seated in a meeting room with his co-workers  when the company president was making the decision with other board members regarding  which project  should be chosen .          There were two teams of lance and Xavier , both of whom were leaders of the teams that had participated in the project ,and since the winning team was given a promotion , both teams were waiting for the results . 

lance was confident that his team would be chosen and was eagerly awaiting the outcome .    The president closed the file and glanced the team members . I liked both projects , but  I'm going with Xavier since it helps the firm . Lance simply stood there staring as the president complimented Xavier and departed the meeting room . 

Everyone was congratulating while Lance simply smiled with a clenched heart . after a few seconds , Xavier approached Lance and mockingly asked aren't you going to congratulate . Lance smiled and asked 'how does it feel' 'feel what' asked Xavier .   To take someone else's credit and stick your name on it . I'm not sure what you're on about , Xavier replied, laughing awkwardly , Nothing enjoy your moment I don't want ruin  it and congratulations Lance said to Xavier and forced a smiled .

When everyone was cheering for Xavier , Lance noticed that his project file label name had been replaced with Xavier and Xavier's with Lance .

While going work from home during night lance sat in his usual spot .                                                          Lance always sits at a abandoned bus station on his way to work from home . Lance sits beneath the bus station while sipping apple juice since it is was raining heavily . he always carried two to three bottles of apple juice in his backpack since lance enjoy drinking apple juice to calm himself  . 

As usual lance sat in his spot .

Lance was drinking his apple juice when he noticed a man rushing towards him with his hands up over his head . Because it was raining fiercely , he couldn't see the man's face properly due to rain .                                                                                                                                                                                              The man approached and took a position three feet away from Lance .                                                      Lance was mesmerized by the man's attractiveness as he flipped his hair , he removed his glasses ,wiped his eyes and put them back on to double check .                                                                     He is totally my type Lance thought because of his perfect height , Masculine body , shinning black hair , and  deep black eyes  .                                                                                                                                  Lance was overjoyed . He had deeply forgotten about his concerns .

Lance came out of his thoughts and took a big breath and remarked the man, "Ahem, you should have a seat, the rain isn't going to stop at  anytime soon."

The man merely shook his head and sat down next to lance .

Lance inquired of the man, "Do you come here often?" The man replied in an irritated tone, "No."

The man had a grimace on his face and appeared stressed .

Lance offered the man a bottle of a juice , which he declined in hushed voice , at which point the man's stomach growled . The man glanced at Lance awkwardly , lance smiled and said , "You should probably drink it.

The man accepted the bottle of  juice and thanked him with a sweet  smile .

The man sipped some juice , glanced at lance, and repeated  Nicholas, to which lance answered with a puzzled expression. The man then stated , "My name is Nicholas," and smiled again . Lance smiled and introduced himself .

Both were staring at one other intently when thunder struck, surprising them.

They both averted their gazes and gazed up at the sky .

it's pouring heavily today, Nicholas stated , glancing up at the sky, to which Lance answered, "Ya since it's rainy season,"

For a while , they both stared at the clouds and raindrops . 

Despite the fact that they were silent , the silence  felt extremely  peaceful and  pleasant .

Both of them enjoyed a great sense of  comfort  and relaxation . lance and Nicholas  looked at each other and smiled pleasantly . 

Nicholas looked at lance and said it was pleasant meeting you , you felt warm like a home although we didn't speak much . home? lance thought and looked puzzled .

Lance responded, "It was nice meeting you too," as his cheeks turned red .

After a while , the rain began to slow down 

Nicholas got up from his seat and adjusted his clothes .

Nicholas said, "I'll get going , " to Lance . Lance quickly got to his feet and exclaimed  "What about the rain? It's pouring fiercely," as he turned to face Nicholas .

Nicholas responded with a smile that the rain had already stopped, to which Lance quicky diverted his attention . Yes , its has really stopped , Lance answered in a sad tone . 

Then I'II get going  Nicholas moved forward but lance held his hand instead . When Lance saw he was holding Nicholas hand, he quickly let go of it and said , "Remember to have your dinner . "Nicholas responded with a smile, "Thanks, I'II remember ." 

When Nicholas turned around to go,  he said "see you again" to  lance . lance face brightened and replied "see you again" with a big smile . 

Lance didn't stop gazing at Nicholas till he disappeared . 

Assume this as Nicholas 👆  Age ; 24

POV ; Lance 

When Lance first arrived at his home, he went straight to the kitchen where his mother was cooking . Lance called out, "Mom," and his mom jumped and screamed in horror due to the sudden voice . Lance's mother turned around and saw Lance and threw the spatula on him, which he dodged easily . you know how much scared I was you fool appearing suddenly like ghost idiot , To which lance replied I wanna eat something sweet , his mother looked at him with a puzzled expression, sweets? why do you wanna eat sweets .

Lance looked at his mom and grinned because I am happy with a red flush on his cheeks .

Lance mom, got a hint and shouted Oh my god you found someone , she gave Lance a hug before releasing him , I thought you were gone die single, lance mom said while Lance gave a side eyes to his mom . 

Lance's mother smirked as she asked Lance if he had sex with him . 

Lance said , 'Mom, you shouldn't ask about these stuff  to your son and  I don't even know him properly as we just met," and added I hope I will meet him again with a small smile . 

Lance mother groaned and said, "This generation is slowing down . You have at least asked for his number. " Lance hesitated and responded, "I should have at least asked for his number ,"in a dejected manner .

His mother tried to cheer his up by saying that HE WOULD ALWAYS BE IN YOUR FATE IF THE DESTINY WANTS YOU TO BE TO TOGETHER .

I hope so, Lance responded with a smile . 

POV ; Nicholas [WARNING ; BLOOD ,SUICIDE]

Nicholas was simply having his dinner , there were two maid standing across the table after serving food . 

His father arrived as Nicholas was finishing his meal . 

Nicholas father saw Nicholas eating . He approached Nicholas and asked whether he had completed the task he ordered . "Nicholas answered no without even glancing his father , his father got angry at his behavior and tossed Nicholas plated in which he was eating . 

Nicholas stared fiercely at his father .

You can't even finish one of the tasks I assigned you, so why were you born as my son?  because of you this behavior , you mother abandoned you , his father yelled at Nicholas, 

it's not because of me, it's because of you , your the reason she left me  it because of your ******* experiment you used her and now your using me , Nicholas yells . 

Nicholas' father slapped him very hardly and told him not to raise his voice by pointing finger at him . I should have killed you the moment you were born his father said to him and walked away.

Nicholas entered his room , shut the door and sat on the  floor resting against the bed . I'm exhausted, I can't do this anymore , tears began to fall from his eyes . After a few seconds, Nicholas reached into his drawer which was near bed and drew out a knife . 

He gazed at the knife and tears welled up in his eyes . "I truly don't want to do this, but I simply can't handle the pain," he said . 

He began drawing lines on his hand with a knife, and the knife touched his nerve , his hand began to shiver, and he threw his knife across the room. 

Nicholas hand was shaking and twitching in pain as the blood flowed from it  .

Nicholas stood up, opened the door, and began heading up the stairs while the blood continued to flow from his hand . There was no expression on his face .

When one of the maids noticed Nicholas and the blood streaming from his hand , she was horrified . 

He went to the terrace which is the eight floor , climbed the wall and stood on the corner .

The maid who spotted Nicholas in that state notified his father and his father came to the garden where he sees Nicholas standing at the corner, The maids also followed him .

After witnessing Nicholas in such situation, his father said nothing and merely stood there . The maids were yelling at him to stop .

Nicholas, who was standing on the edge of the wall , drew a big breath as he gazed up the sky .

Nicholas' father yelled at the maids, telling them to get inside and dial 911 . Because they were afraid of him , every maid entered the home without inquiry.

Nicholas looked down at his father and grinned sarcastically at him .

After a few seconds, Nicholas closed his eyes and took a stride in the air , but a startling voice in his brain caused him to reverse his movement and immediately opened his eyes . 

He closed his eyes again and took a step, but there was a voice saying, "No don't" . He took a step back and looked around, but there was no one there. he closed his eyes again , but this time there was blur face and the words "see you again." Echoed in his ears . " he instantly opened his eyes and began to take back his steps . 

No, I don't want to die, he thought to himself as he took a step back.

As Nicholas was taking his steps back, someone pushed him, causing Nicholas to fall from the building. He couldn't see the face of the person who pushed him . 

As Nicholas fell from the building, he could only think of one thing: "please save me I don't wanna die" "hope to see you again." He slowly closed his eyes as tears fell from his eyes. 

His father saw Nicholas fall from the building .

He knelt towards Nicholas, who was lying down and bleeding. He glanced at Nicholas and said, "You were no use to me when you were alive, but now that you're dead , you'll be more useful," He got up and grinned at Nicholas as he dusted the blood off shoes .

POV ; Lance 

Lance was having breakfast with his mother and father when his father realized that lance was deep in thoughts . He called lance but didn't hear him so he called him again loudly, which caused Lance to flinch and jump out of his thoughts and said yes Dad, 

Is there something bothering you, Lance? his father asked him, "No, I'm alright , it's only because I had strange dream, he replied 

An erotic dream his mother asked with a grinning face , both Lance and his father looked at Eva(Lance's mother) with the expression like there used to it . 

Don't listen to her son, tell me what's bothering you his father asked him.

Lance turned to his father and added, " I had a weird dream but it felt so real " 

Someone was asking for help , asking me to save them he was trembling and crying but , I was unable to save him. To hold him, I arrived too late . He  collapsed in front of my eyes , and blood spattered everywhere . I don't  remember his face . it appeared so real Dad .

Michael(Lance's father) looked at Lance and said, Son ; Everything happens for a reason in this universe .

Lance looked at his father confusingly .  

In office  ;

I should not let negative things come to my mind . Think only positive Lance your going to meet him(Nicholas) Lance thought to himself as he was checking some papers .

Lance was reviewing some documents when Xavier approached his table and knocked on the table . Lance raised his head and found Xavier standing in front of him . when Lance questioned him, Xavier answered, "I'm sorry  .

The behavior of Xavier surprised Lance . 

I shouldn't have changed  the file's labels. I shouldn't have not taken your credit .I'm sorry, Xavier said to Lance .

Lance looked at Xavier and said, "it's okay, I've forgotten about it , you don't have to feel guilty about it. Xavier smiled and thanked Lance . 

Lance asked Xavier if he could do him  favor, Xavier enthusiastically said yes .

Can you please verify these files for me, since I need to get somewhere? Lance asked Xavier , "Ok I'll do it ; you can leave early Xavier responded . 

POV ; Lance 

Lance was overjoyed to meet Nicholas , I hope he will come . Lance thought to himself as he walked along the street . 

Lance was walking down the street when he noticed a convenience store that reminded him of Nicholas, who was hungry the other day . He entered the convenience store and purchased some snacks for Nicholas .

Lance arrived at the abandoned station where he had met Nicholas the day before . He couldn't find Nicholas when he arrived at the bus terminal .

I believe I should wait for sometime ; he will surely come . 

Lance has been waiting for an hour . 

While Lance was waiting for Nicholas, he received a phone from his father asking if he could come to home since it's urgent , Lance hesitated at first, but then accepted . 

Lance took a look at the seat where Nicholas had sat the day before . 

He pulled out a paper and pen from his bag and wrote a note, " If you come here and don't find me , please come back tomorrow. "Lance wrote the note ; and kept a vanilla-flavored bun and an apple juice on the paper .

After sometime ; 

Lance came to the house when his father called and said it was an emergency .He went to his father and asked what was wrong and why he had called him . His father responded, "get ready, we're going to a funeral." whose funeral is it ? When Lance questioned his father, he claimed that he is the son of the company's most renowned president . 

Michael(Lance's father) was invited to the funeral because he is an officer in an honorable position . 

Lance prepared, despite his disappointment at not being able to meet Nicholas .

Lance and Michael(Lance's father) arrived at the funeral .

Everyone recognized Michael(Lance's father) as honorable officer . Both stepped inside to pay respects to the deceased. 

Lance stepped inside with his father and saw the dead person's photo; it was Nicholas . 

Lance was horrified when he saw the photo of Nicholas; it was as if the ground had shifted beneath his feet; he couldn't hear anything and could only stare at the picture of Nicholas; there was lump in his throat and he wanted to cry at the top of his lungs . His hands were shivered and tears welled up in his eyes . 

"No this is not real, this not true," Lance said to himself , "when his father heard Lance's words , he looked at him and was shocked to see Lance tears poured from Lance's eyes."

His father held Lance's trembling hand tightly and said, "What happened Lance?" Lance didn't speak and simply gazed at  Nicholas' photo . Michael(Lance's father) saw in the direction were Lance was starring . 

Do you know him Lance his father asked him, tears were still streaming from Lance's eyes, he couldn't  talk . 

Dad I want to go, his father was surprised to find Lance in that position and just answered, "Ok, you go," take care of yourself . 

Lance rushed out to the entrance . 

Lance came to the bus station where he met Nicholas for the first and last day spotted the message and snacks he had kept earlier . 

Lance sat down and took a deep breath, he simply starred at the floor . The tears were still pouring from his eye's and falling to the ground . why am I crying I don't even know you?  you were a complete stranger to me . 

Lance couldn't stop the crying and was

continuously wiping his tears away.
