I was at the doorstep of Yamaguchi's home. I ran the doorbell, and there was no reply. I knocked a few times before opening the door and realizing it was unlocked.
my phone buzzed with notifications from the group chat. Annoyed, I muted them.
I felt a wave of panic rush over me as I stepped into the quiet house, wary of my surroundings.
what if something bad had happened to Tadashi?
I called out. No reply. I went straight to his room and hesitated in front of the door.
I took a deep breath and opened the door, preparing for the worst.

that's it I guess so here's the story
I was in Yamaguchi's house, since the door was unlocked and left slightly ajar. I was supposed to stop by his house in case he forgot about the gathering.
I called into the house. Taking a deep breath, I went inside, half expecting to see something horrid. But, it was completely normal.
I went straight to Tadashi's room. I hesitated in front of the door, then finally opened it.
I saw him laying on his bed, sleeping peacefully, curled under his blanket.
I let out a sigh of both relief and annoyance. His phone was buzzing on the table, so I went over and turned off the alarm that had been ringing for a while.
I stared at his drowsy face, with sunlight seeping through the window, with the shadows dancing on his freckled-face.
luckily Yamaguchi barely stirred, and continued to sleep. It might've been the way he breathed softly, or how he clutched his pillow in his hands, but this fluttery feeling came over me.
I bent over him, and leaned in close, until our noses barley touched. I suddenly had this urge to kiss him.
What is wrong with me? He's my childhood friend.
He murmured drowsily, and started to rub his eyes.
We locked eyes on each other and stared for a few heartbeats. His eyes shone like stars. Blushing, I moved away.

You slept through your alarm
Yamaguchi reached up and rubbed his forehead
Tsukishima
Is something wrong?
without thinking I put my hand on his forehead. it was feverishly warm.
Tsukishima
I think you have a fever

you should rest
Yamaguchi
but I want to go to the gathering

and you sound like a mom
I scoffed and put on my headphones.
Yamaguchi proceeded to wrap himself up in a blanket while I started to read the book my class was assigned to read. I sat at his desk across the room
Yamaguchi
I want to listen too
he said, gesturing at my earbuds.
Sighing, I walked over and give him a ear piece. He grinned and took it. I laid next to him on the bed, reading, but couldn't really concentrate since he was staring at me intently.
Yamaguchi
Oh it's nothing.. I mean, this song is pretty romantic, don't you think?
I felt my face heat up and stared blankly at the page in my book.
Tsukishima
Shut up, Yamaguchi
I said embarrassed. He chuckled and smiled.
