Who would have thought that everything would come like this?

Probably what they call karma.

I sighed and opened the book I was reading.

"Victoria!!" My friend yelled from a distance and started running towards me.

'Samantha' she's been my best friend since birth that's because her parents and my parents are colleagues and neighbours.

"Earth to Victoria," she said while waving her hand in front of my face.

I came to my senses and shoved her hands gently.

"I'm sorry, I've been dozing off lately"

I scratched my head and gave her an awkward smile.

She signed and Handed me a present

"You'll love what's in it~" she giggled and sat on the chair that's in front of me.

I was stunned... It's not my birthday or any special occasion.

But for her, it's normal to give me stuff.

"What's the catch?" I asked and crossed my arms.

She looked nervous and anxious.

"Well- I just really love you~" She answered and gave me her Pleading smile.

But of course, I didn't believe her since I've known her for a decade

So I gave her a cold shoulder and looked at her intensely.

"Alright² your brother turned 20 yesterday, right? I was thinking if-"

"No." I interrupted before she could even finish her sentence.

"W-wait I haven't even finished yet." She held both of my hands and looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Please~ just this once and if things don't work out then I'll stop bothering your brother again."

I can't help but hesitate and think otherwise.

My brother Noah, is known for his good looks and a non-brain womanizer.

All the girls in school would beg and kneel just for me to set them up with my brother.

Ugh thinking about that makes me shiver.

"Fine, if things don't work out don't blame me for my brother's mistake... Don't say I didn't warn you."

I said then drink the coffee that's on the table.

"Yey!, I'm glad You finally made up your mind!"

She yelled with excitement and hugged me tight.

"Samath- are you trying to suffocate me-!"

She finally realized that she hugged me too tight and let go of me.

"Well~ not as if I was planning on doing that-" She smirked and giggled.

"I'll be on my way home, Bye love you..."

I hurriedly took my bag and my coffee.

But before I could even leave, Samantha grabbed my hand and handed me the present she had given me earlier.

"Take it with you..." She said and gave me a warm smile.

I was filled with mixed emotions about whether to keep it or not, but since she insisted I decided to keep it and be grateful.

Once I arrived at my dorm I hung my bag behind the door and took some scissors to open the present.

I gently unwrapped the present, open expensive-looking box, And I was shocked to see The book that I'd been wanting to buy.

"Ha... Samantha is something else." I hugged the book and put it on the bed for me to read later after taking a bath.

Once I arrive in the bathroom I quickly undressed turn on the shower and balance the cold water with hot water for me to shower with warm water.

After taking a bath I put on some clothes for me to be comfortable and jump on my bed and grab the book for me to read.

The title of the book that Samantha gave me was "A Life with You" by a Famous Author I look up to.

It's a limited edition book with only a thousand copies I'm so glad Samantha knows me very well.

Once I opened the book there was nothing that could stop me from reading it for hours and hours and hours until midnight.

"F*** I forgot I have a quiz tomorrow afternoon.

I better go to sleep for me to not look haggard or stressed with these big eye bags and swollen eyes."

I close the book and place it on the table, and lastly, I close my eyes until I fall asleep.

While my eyes were closed I felt something that was above me or hugging me.

I move around, and I slowly open my eyes to get a good look at A man's chest facing me.

"Oh, my G-! How did you get it My dorm!" I yelled in frustration and jumped out of bed I grabbed a weapon that was near the table and pointed it at him.

"Don't you dare move or I'm calling the cops on you," I said in a rush and glared at him

"What are you going to do with a book?"

He looked confused and slowly approached me.

"No! Don't! I still want to read stories!!" I yelled from the top of my lungs...begging for my life.

My body started to shiver, and I couldn't think straight.

"Pft- Hahaha... I'm Marcus nice to meet you."

He smiled and sat down...

"Ha... Marcus?." I repeat his name with confusion and shrug my shoulders.

"I'm sorry, but I have no time with you, Can you kindly leave?" I asked nicely and opened the door for him.

"Aren't you curious where I'm from? Or how did I get inside your dorm?" He asked and continued to sit on my bed while holding the book I was reading last night.

"Huh?... so this is how my story ended?"

I realized that he had flipped the pages of the book and reached the end of the story.

"Your ending?" Again with confusion. I gave in and waited for him to explain. Hays

A guy with blond hair and Blue eyes, Pale skin and a tall guy appeared In front of my eyes or my bed.

He Somehow looks like the man on the cover of the book I read last night.
