Omegaverse
Is an alternate universe where males can also get pregnant. Aside from female and male gender there is a so-called 'second gender' which is identified as alpha, beta and omega.
Alpha
They made up 20% of the population and are looked up by people as they are seen as natural born leaders. They have a high status and wealth alphas are aggressive and loses control wheneve an omega is in heat. Male alphas don't get pregnant and alphas can have more than one partner and of course they are the ones that dominates in their relationship.
Beta
They made up 70% of the population and are no different from normal humans, they do not have heat cycle and they live normally.
Omega
They made up 10% of the population and they have a heat cycle that can last a week which occurs every month. During the heat period their chances of pregnancy is very high, they produces pheromones that attracts alphas that makes them loose control. Omegas use medicine to suppress their heat periods.
The Mark
Alphas mark their pairs (omegas) by biting their necks during the heat cycle otherwise it will leave no mark. Alphas can continue living normally while the omegas who receives a mark faces the consequences of not being able to have any other partner aside from their alpha. If the alpha abandons them the mark will still be visible and omegas still cannot find other partners because of their marks. Only if the alpha dies then the omega who are marked can have other partners but the mark will still be visible.
Pair
It was believed that alphas and omegas have their destined 'pair' in which they would know the person who they are meant with at one glance. A 'pair' is consisted with an alpha and an omega.
