Alexis: *yawns* you know that we can't go out of the kingdom right?

Jaywin: I know but we can sneak out hehe, no one will catch us, we can do whatever we want to do.

Alexis: where do you even want to go?

Jaywin: I heard that outside the kingdom we can find the love of our life!

Alexis: And?

Alexis questioned Jaywin like he's saying that there's no point of doing that.

Jaywin: Well, don't you want to find your true love?

Alexis: *sighs* Jay, your the Prince many girls fall over heels for you, and maybe you can find one there.

Jaywin looks at him like he doesn't want to answer that statement.

Jaywin: you do know that I'm not into girls right?

Alexis: I know but your parents would be more than happy if you actually have a fiancé or just a girlfriend to marry.

Jaywin: Alexis you're the only friend I have in here, so please understand what I'm going through.

Alexis approaches him

Alexis: I know, I just want to see you happy you're a Prince after all.

Alexis hugged him tight to make him feel comfortable.

Jaywin: Thanks..

Alexis: anytime Jay..

Someone knocks at the door

Butler: My Prince are you ready?

Jaywin: yes of course.

Jaywin said to his butler

Jaywin: are you ready Alexis?

Alexis: ready as I'll ever be

Jaywin goes out the room and greet all of the people with a smile.

King: this day a young man with power and might like a dragons breath proven to us all that he is capable of being one of the nobles with magic so great. Please welcome him with a loud applause, welcome Alexis Star!

Alexis walks out and greet all people with a big and bright smile.

King: Alexis Star, with the power vested in me I now declare you as a duke and a part of the royal medics.

Alexis: thank you my lord, I will do my very best to meet each and every expectation you expect in me.

The people applaused with the statement Alexis just said.

*After the ceremony*

Collin: so you're Alexis Star, a pleasure to meet you

Alexis: a pleasure to meet you too Duke Collin *bows down*

Collin: now I see why the king liked you.

Alexis: what do you mean Duke Collin?

Jaywin: don't mind him Alexis he's just messing with you *glares at Fuke Collin*

Jaywin goes near Duke Collin and whisper

Jaywin: try anything to Alexis and I swear you'll be executed.

He glares menacingly before grabbing Alexis and lead him to one of the balconies of the castle.

Jaywin: Alexis, please don't go near him, he's pretty tricky and sly we don't know what he can do he might be a Duke but I assure you he's no good.

Alexis: hehe wow Jay you care for me that much?

Jaywin: of course your my best friend and I don't want anything to happen to you.

He hugged Alexis tight and whispers

Jaywin: please be careful you're a Duke now many people might hurt you.

Alexis: I will Jay, I will. *he hugs him back*

Alexis wakes up from his sleep inside his new mansion whereas he now lives in.

Alexis: I'm not used to this kind of things, I kinda miss my old house, but.

Someone knocks at the door

Butler: Master Alexis the royal family is calling for your presence in the royal Palace.

Alexis was confused on what is happening in the royal Palace, but he still went because he doesn't want that king to think that he's an arrogant or a selfish person.

Alexis: ok let me change first.

As they were going near the royal Palace a lot of people are gathered around the royal Palace.

Alexis: what is happening?

As they enter the royal Palace Alexis was stormed by maids and the butlers.

Jay's Butler: Duke Alexis! Please hurry my lord the Prince need you!

Alexis: what?!

Alexis hurries to Jaywin's room and as he entered he saw Jaywin laying on the bed pale and can barely move

Alexis: Jay! What happened?! Are you ok?!

Alexis started to panic when he saw Jaywin weak and so pale

Jaywin: Alexis, don't worry I'm fine *coughs*

Alexis: no! You're clearly not ok, you look so pale, and you can barely move in this situation!

Alexis starts to tear up and uses his magic as the Royal medic

Alexis: please Jay hang on for a bit everything will be fine, please don't leave me

He said while crying

Alexis: please Jay be strong for me, I know you can do it!

He said crying even more as he saw Jaywin closing his eyes

Alexis: no! Jay don't close your eyes stay with me! Don't leave me please, please don't die on me

He cries loudly while trying to heal Jaywin's sickness

Jaywin: I'm not leaving you

He held Alexis' hand

Jaywin: please don't cry I'm going to be fine, you're here now that's all I want

He held Alexis' tightly and seems like he doesn't want to let go of it.

Alexis uses up all his magic just to save him and heal him when he noticed that there's something familiar about the magic around Jaywin's body

Alexis: this aura, I've seen this before but where?

Alexis whispered to himself

A while later Jaywin healed perfectly fine because of Alexis, Jaywin also requested to the king that Alexis is the one who's going to take care of him as long as he's still sick.

King: Jay, you're going to be meeting the different Princesses of other kingdom and Duke Alexis needs to go I'm sure he's busy right now.

Jaywin: Alexis are you really busy today?

Alexis: Well not really, I'm not particularly busy today but-

Jaywin: then you can stay right? Please say yes

Alexis is resisting to say yes, but Jaywin's puppy eyes got the best of him

Alexis: ok fine I will but is it alright?

King: Well if that's what you want the yes it's fine Alexis, just take care of Jay while the Princesses are going here ok?

Alexis: Yes your majesty

The King leaves the room

Jaywin: looks like you and are spending this moment together

Alexis: Hey, Jay if you liked one of the Princesses that are going here do you want to marry her or?

Jaywin: no way! I won't do that, if I had to choose I'd rather marry you than them!

Alexis. got startled from what he said

Alexis: Jay don't say things like that!

Jaywin: but that's the truth though

Jaywin realises what he said and he blush

Jaywin: oh sorry about that Alexis I- uhh

Alexis: hehe it's fine you're just exhausted that's all

Jaywin was a bit down when he said that, he thought to himself why would he say that if it wasn't true

A girl goes in the room she was Princess Leah

Leah: a pleasure to meet you Prince Jaywin, umm and why is a peasant here in Prince Jaywin's room!

Jaywin got angry when he heard those words from her

Jaywin: how dare you! How dare you talk to him like that even if you don't know who he is, he is the royal medic and he is my best friend, how dare you talk down to people like him!

Alexis: Jay calm down, you need to rest for a while you still need to recover and don't even try to use your magic I know how your magic works. My apologies Princess Leah, let me introduce myself, I'm Duke Alexis Star I'm the personal royal medic of Jay here and I'm also Jay's best friend, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.

Alexis pulls Jaywin who's standing on the bed and made him lay down

Leah: I'm sorry if I discriminated you I-

Jaywin: you don't need to explain just get out of here

Jaywin glares at her menacingly

Leah runs off scared

Alexis: Well that was something, but thanks Jay for standing up for me

Alexis approaches Jaywin and hugs him tightly

Jaywin: uhh no, I didn't say anything hehe

He said nervously

After a few days Jaywin had finally recovered though not fully healed he can now move more and walk better

Alexis was in the garden when suddenly a guy named Leo came and started chatting with Alexis

A few more minutes Jaywin arrived wanting to see Alexis when he saw Leo talking with Alexis and he's really close to him

Jaywin: Hey! What are you doing to Alexis!

He said angrily

Leo: woah dude calm down we were just talking

Jaywin glares at him menacingly

Jaywin: do you even know who I am, I'm Prince Jaywin

Leo: I know and I'm Prince Leo of the kingdom of beasts

Jaywin was shocked by the revelation that Leo just had told him, he was a Prince in the kingdom of the beasts

Alexis: Jay please calm down, Leo is here to visit me

Jaywin: what? Who even is he to your life?

Leo: I'm his best friend and I'm going to be his future husband soon.

Jaywin felt a sudden fear from what he just heard

Jaywin: what?!

Alexis: Leo! Stop messing with him! We're just friends Jay he's just kidding around

Jaywin: yeah I see that

He said while looking angry despite smiling

Alexis: anyways what are you doing here Jay?

Jaywin: oh yeah, I'm here to give you these

He pulled out a bouquet of flowers from his magic storage as well as some muffins

Alexis' eyes lit up when he saw the gift

Alexis: muffins! I love muffins!

Jawin smiled widely and looks at Leo

Jaywin approaches Leo and whispers to him

Jaywin: try and beat that Leo~ hehe

Leo looks at him with anger that he got Alexis' attention by giving him muffins which are his favorite dessert

Leo: you just got lucky

Jaywin: luck is not on my side it's just simply based on how much I know Alexis and we've been best friends since when we're children.

He smirks at Leo

Leo: whatever, but remember this I'm going to be his husband and you can't stop it, if your father agrees with it along with Alexis' parents consent we'll be married in no time

Jaywin was stunned when he heard the news

Jaywin: what?!

Leo: yes that's the truth my friend don't worry maybe we can make you our best man hehe~

Jaywin was too shocked to speak he didn't want to believe what Leo said to him so he rushed back to the royal Place without even informing Alexis

Alexis: Jay? Leo, where's Jay?

Leo: he had gone home I think he needs something from his father

Alexis: ohh ok then

In a few minutes Jaywin arrives in the Palace

Jaywin: father! tell me that Alexis is not going to marry Prince Leo

King: huh? Why not? He's perfect for Alexis they are both nobles and they're both smart and used healing magic

Jaywin: do you even have Alexis' consent?

King: Well not yet we need to ask him

Alexis suddenly enter the room with Leo all tied up in his vines

Alexis: my king, I'm sorry for barging in but I decline that proposal.

He said with angry eyes

King: but why?

Alexis: because I don't know him well and he's weaker than me

King: Well what do you want to do to make him prove himself?

Alexis smiles

Alexis: make him fight against Jay and if he wins I will agree to the engagement if not he'll be banned from any of my properties.

King: very well then

Alexis smiles and lets go of Leo

Jaywin: Well this is going to be fun hehe~

He said while looking at Leo menacingly like it seems that he's going to make Leo lose so hard

At the battle arena

Jaywin: get ready Leo I won't show any mercy to you

Leo: bring it on and may the best man win

They started to clash using magic and their swords

Jaywin: don't even trying using your sneaky clones against me

Jaywin gets the upper hand using his shadow magic which allows him to travel through different casts of shadows

After a bit

Leo: hehe look at that Jay is struggling

Jaywin: are you sure though?

Leo: huh?What do you mea-

Jaywin suddenly appeared behind him and pointed his sword at him

Jaywin: look at that duels over and you lose

Leo was devastated when he knew that he lost against Jaywin which mean he can't go near Alexis' properties anymore such as his house

Alexis: Well that settles it Jay wins the duel and Leo lost, which means I decline the engagement, end of discussion.

Jaywin smirks and leave with Alexis

Jaywin: Hey Alexis.. Can I ask you something?

Alexis: yeah sure what is it?

Jaywin: umm if you had a crush will you tell me about it?

Alexis: why is that?

Jaywin: uhh well I- uhh well I want to protect you

Alexis smiles widely

Alexis: hehe sure I will tell you if I do have a crush

Alexis pats his head and hugs him

Alexis: I'll always trust you no matter what comes to us both.

Jaywin blushes as he heard those words

Jaywin whispers the word I love you to himself without Alexis hearing it

Alexis: now let's go

Jaywin: to where?

Alexis: we're needed at the restaurant remember you asked me to go out with you

Jaywin: oh yeah I almost forgot

Alexis: let's hurry the reservation will not be there anymore if we don't go now

Jaywin: ok, ok let me change first hehe

Alexis: ok but hurry up please

Jaywin: yeah yeah I understand you muffin brain

Jaywin laughed when he saw Alexis calling him bone head while having a pouty face

After a bit Alexis and Jaywin arrived at the restaurant

Jaywin: we have a reservation for two

Waiter: ah yes Price Jaywin and Duke Alexis, we've been waiting this way please

They both sit at the table and ordered some food

Alexis: this place is pretty nice how did find it?

Jaywin: Well nobles have their ways especially the royal family.

Alexis: that kinda explains a lot being honest hehe, I kinda wish that they have muffins for dessert though.

Jaywin: hehe don't worry I know a place with one of the best muffins in the kingdom

Alexis: really? Let's go there after we eat, just thinking about it is making me drool haa~

Jaywin wipes his saliva

He said with a pouty face on

As they finished the food a noble approaches them

Sarah: it's nice to see you here Prince Jaywin

She said while bowing down

Jaywin: and you're?

Sarah: my apologies your highness I'm Sarah Von Leopard a pleasure to meet you, and I can say how nice of you to bring your servant here, you move out of that seat and bring me some drinks I'm a Barons daughter

She said with so much arrogance

Alexis: I'm sorry miss but you don't have the authority to tell me what I need to do

Sarah: ah how dare you not obey a noble if my father hears about this you'll be executed!

Alexis: it might be the opposite Sarah

Sarah: how dare you insult my father you're just a peasant you're beneath me

Alexis stood up and said

Alexis: you're the one who's supposed to be respecting me I'm Duke Alexis Star and not just a peasant I happen to be the personal Royal Medic of Jay here and I'm also his best friend

Sarah's jaw dropped as she heard what he said, she didn't know that Alexis has a higher position that her father and herself combined.

Sarah: my apologies I didn't mean to insult you!

Alexis: it's fine but never do things like that again and by the way without peasants this kingdom will fall without them people will just suffer because most of those peasants work as farmers and unlike nobles they're used to those kind of things.

Sarah: understood sir

Sarah runs away being embarrassed by what she did in front of the Prince and the Duke.

Jaywin: Well that was something, looks like you don't need me protecting you anymore hehe~

Alexis: Well since I'm a noble now I kinda have that kind of power and authority, but I'll only use it for good reasons like that

Jaywin: of course you will you're the royal medic after all hehe~

They left the restaurant and go straight to the bakery to buy some muffins

Alexis: oh... my...... God! ahhhh! I'm in heaven these muffins are so good~

Jaywin: hehe~ slow down now you might choke hehe~

Alexis didn't listen and kept munching onto two muffins at the same time

Jaywin: w-woah! slow down there Alexi you might choke I'm serious

As he was still munching suddenly he started to choke

Jaywin: ah! I told you so

Jaywin held him at his stomach and started to press it, and in just minutes he stopped choking and Alexis cathes his breath.

Alexis: thank you and I'm sorry for causing you trouble

Jaywin: it's not a big deal hehe~

Alexis: what do you want?

Jaywin: huh?

Alexis: what do you want? I'll give it to you I need to repay you after you saved my life there

Jaywin: Well if you insist I want-

Alexis: what?

Jaywin: a kiss from you

Alexis: huh?!

Jaywin: I want a kiss

Alexis: b-but..

Jayein: please~

Alexis: uhh-umm... fine

Alexis goes towards hima nd closed his eyes and kissed Jay on the lips

Jaywin was stunned that he's actually kissing Alexis, then he held Alexis' face and kisses him back

Alexis broke the kiss

Alexis: is that enough?

Jaywin: yes hehe~

Alexis blushes and looks away from him while Jaywin was smirking at him.
