"The empire of Frodium was one based the powers of the gods. Long ago, the goddess of light together with the god of the dark abyss created this empire for the people they held so dear. Ignis, the light goddess, made the sun to rise and the plants to grow and shine. The Frodium empire, on the eastern tip of the continent, soon prospered and people grew to love the goddess even more, on the hand Tenebris which summon the night, was overshadowed by the sun goddess. To make it worse, whenever the night broke out, the demons of the abyss used to come out and feast on people. People started to disregard and loathe Tenebris who could summon nothing but a mere lightless night which brought nothing but destruction. Tenebris envied the Ignis who could enjoy all the affections and attention of the people even though they both built the empire together.

Tenebris, upset with the people left the empire fro good. People were again filled with delight knowing that there won't be any darkness anymore and they'll be free from the terrors of the demons of the abyss. Night never came and sun never set. But no one knew the horrible consequences of the disaster that awaited them. The rivers started drying out, the crops suffered and people started getting into riots because of the shortage of food. Natural disasters constantly happened because of the grounds heating up. To top it off because of the new plague that broke out, people started drying. It was because of the exposure to the sun too much. There was no cure but darkness and night. The very darkness that they all chased out and detested.

Ignis couldn't see her subjects suffering like that anymore and went to Tenebris to request him to come back. Tenebris, who was shunned by the subjects was unwilling. He made a condition. The asked for a "unworldly flower born of the holy fires", the sun goddess determined to save her subjects agreed to it regardless of how unusual the request is. They both joined the forces and ruled over the empire until they left the empire into the capable hands of the imperial family of Frodium empire. The imperial family alone held the power of light goddess and the dukedom of Eckhart wielded the power of the dark god of abyss. Their sole existence is important for the prosperity of the empire of the Frodium."

The pages of the formidably huge golden hardcover history book flickered and turned by the sudden gush of winds. "prosperity my foot" i mumbled staring the book annoyingly. I am Kim Sujin, yes Kim. Sujin. The biggest investor of "The fair lady of the golden ambers" who transmigrated into the body the princess of the empire in the novel. I remember that i was at the welcoming party of the new cast of the drama when i met the author of the novel. We, of course needed to invite the script writer himself as well. We had a short conversation when he suddenly asked me who was my favourite character. I never had the chance to think about my favourite character but one thing was unusual. I, pitied the villainous of the novel of was supposed to be despised. That is when i suddenly started feeling dizzy, Mr Han whispered some words which weren't audible to me and suddenly i started falling off from the canopy where we were standing. The next thing I knew when i woke up was I had already transmigrated into the bedroom of the princess in the novel.

"Ellieeee" a familiar annoying voice reached my ear and i recognised it instantly. "Not again" i started walking off in the direction of the book shelf to place the book back in and get my hands onto another one. "Is my sister reading difficult books again? At this rate you'll be easily accepted in the Epistheme." he said affectionately coming at me to give me a peck on the cheek, i slightly pushed him away "Are you really the crown prince Rudolf?" "I am, but before that I'm your brother of course so let's go play Ellie" He smiled with sparkling eyes. He's quite enthusiastic and indignified for a Crown Prince of the empire. Well, what did i expected from an 11 year old? The crown prince is a child too after all. But i felt uneasy and uncomfortable around him for no reason... perhaps because of the events that happens in the story...

Well I'm a grown up possessing the body of an eight year old. I'm sure his majesty will be quite pleased to hear about this. I paused "No need governess" "your highness?" "i said no need, the emperor....i don't want to disturb his majesty while his busy with the matters of the empire." The emperor, Eloise's father, always prioritised Rudolph while ruthlessly casting Eloise aside. Eloise, as child was unaware of why his father was being partial. They may be related by blood but Eloise didn't inherit what a Frodium should've inherited, the power of the light. To make things worse, empress the emperor loved so much died giving birth to Eloise. She thought she could compensate her father by being good in her studies regardless of her lack of powers and the death of the empress hoping that his father will finally take a glance at her. She completed hardcover history books, learnt fencing and equestrian always beating Rudolph in all fields except the divine powersonly at the age of 12. Yet the emperor dispised her still the same. Why? She was overshadowing the crown prince of the empire, the future heir to the throne. Her hatred for Rudolph grew day by day. She did everything she could to take out on Rudolph and was very cruel to him. But the more Eloise was cruel to him, the more she grew distant from the emperor. Eloise went to great lengths such as falling down in front of the emperor or flexing off her intelligence in order to gain his attention but always failed against Rudolph. Eloise was dejected, she hated that he loved Rudolph even after he did nothing yet he had the thing she coveted the most. The emperor's love. He would listen to irrelevant things like how his day went and how he was doing that she wanted the emperor to ask her as well yet he didn't spare her a glance even after all of her efforts. For Eloise, gaining emperor's love was like reaching out to grab moon. In the end, she became evil and cruel causing the deaths of many innocent people and later was executed. My heart clenched remembering my past life, my busy parents and my same attempts to be loved. To think I'd have to go through the same suffering once more, isn't this so cruel. We share the same fate Eloise, but it was just that she was just strayed onto a wrong path....

"Your highness!" i broke out of my chain of thoughts when my nanny called out to me. "My goodness are you okay.... your Highness your expression worries me." she looked at me startled while i was caught off guard, i shouldn't be too suspicious after all Eloise isn't the type to express emotions very easily. "It's nothing. Please leave me be for now nanny." i commanded. She worriedly nodded and left the refreshments at the table.

If I want to live as Eloise, I have to imitate her as much as possible. So let's recall the novel's story and write down stuff before i forget. The novel, "The fair lady of the golden ambers", was a tale of a young girl named Cerise Blanche, belonged from the family of counts as i remember. The family suddenly goes bankrupts because of Cerise's father's lavish expenditures. Cerise's father was a man who saw his daughter as an asset, and was waiting for the right opportunity to display his most treasured possession. That's when the invitation of the spring festival came from the royal palace. A huge extravagant palace ball that's held every spring when the flowers bloom. A perfect opportunity for him to showcase his jewelled investment. That's when Cerise meets the Renon Eckhart, Duke of the Eckhart duchy, well known for establishing many refined swordsman and their contributions in the foundation of the empire.

The Duke only had a son and he longed for daughter. When the Duke gets knowledge of her father's selfish plans, he adopts Cerise Midford as his own daughter. That was the beginning of the Cerise's bright future or to be more precise, beginning Eloise's downfall. Cerise had pure divine powers of light which had only been inherited by the imperial family which she had kept a secret from her selfish father. Her divine powers reached it's prime when she was eighteen, at her debutante ball immediately being recognised as a blessing to the Frodium empire.

The novel had two male leads, one of them was the outstanding son of the Eckhart duchy, Killian Eckhart, the first male lead. As a heir to the prestigious family he had also inherited the immense powers of the dark abyss, which were getting out of control which will lead to a aggressive rampage. That's when Cerise meets him and helps him to control his powers with her divine abilities. He helplessly falls for her demure and moralistic personality to the point of breaking his engagement with Eloise. When Eloise hears of the annulment of the engagement, she gets extremely upset and envious of Cerise. But she couldn't hurt her, hurting her was the same as hurting Killian. That's how much she helded him dear to her. So after the rebelling and ascending throne, she decreed Killian to be her spouse and he couldn't deny the sovereign's order. But all of Eloise efforts and attempts to make him love her went in vain and everyone turned against her.

The citizens were extremely dissatisfied with their ruler and soon it lead her to her downfall. She was escorted to the guillotine by the Duke Killian for attempting an assasination against the Saintess Cerise. After the death of the villainous, the Saintess and the Duke ruled the prosperous empire together... "to think I'd live to feel this regretful and dejected even more then my past life...." my heart clenched. She was just a child who yearned to be loved yet was labelled as the villainous. It was just her way of doing things was cruel but what was she to do when the whole world didn't give her a chance to be kind? Alright I promise to give you a much better end this time Eloise and perhaps another chance for you to be good in this life?
