Little did she know that she had to work very hard to stay there
She walked silently behind the others as they had a tour of the dorms.

No... It did at first when I was still learning to master the quirk, but now it does not hurt.

I've never used more than 5 quirks at a time, so I don't know.😅

Everyone had finished unpacking their stuff, except for Michiko.
She had gotten carried away by her sketching and had only opened two of her boxes.
there was a knock on her door
Michiko
She opened the door.
Midoriya
Hi! I'm sorry to bother you, but everyone is downstairs already. It seems like you need some help.
Michiko
Sorry, I just got a bit carried away!
Midoriya
So do you need help or anything?
Michiko
I don't, really. I think I'm just fine.
Midoriya
Okay then, I'll just tell the others that you are still busy...
Michiko
Why? Did they ask for me?
Michiko
💭They asked for me? Why do they care? Nobody in my class has ever cared about me! What's changed?
Midoriya's footsteps faded as he walked away. Michiko was puzzled by her classmates' kindness.
Growing up, every class she was in was horrible towards her. Kindness eluded her, and she learned to live without it.
After she had finally finished unpacking her stuff and organizing her room, she looked at the time.

I doubt if anyone else is awake.
Michiko went outside to the balcony. It was a full moon and all the stars were out. It was a sight to behold!
She decided to take a stroll around the school grounds and feel the peace and tranquility of the winter night.
She found herself a bench to sit on. It was on the edge of a pathway that bridged over a pond of pretty little fish that glittered in the moonlight.
The cool breeze brushed against her cheek.
Then again, the presence of another soul.
Shoto
Looks like you beat me to it...
Michiko
Oh, it's you! Hi Shoto! You kinda scared me.
Shoto
Sorry about that. Do you mind if I join you?
Michiko
This bench looks like it can seat more than me... Maybe five
Michiko
I mean, yes, you can join me.
Shoto took a seat next to her and stared into the distant sky with a deep expression smothering his face.
Michiko
You look like you've got a lot on your mind.
Michiko
Do you mind me asking what's up?
Shoto
Mmm, no.
I don't mind you asking. But I'm not going to say anything. It would be like asking a wall what's behind it.
They both sat in silence after that statement and occasionally gave one another short glances as if being wary not to trouble their kingdoms of thought that was guarded up by the stubborn walls of flesh.
Strange?
Shoto and Michiko sat on that bench for almost an hour when Michiko broke the silence.
Michiko
So... um, I'm gonna head back to base. You coming?
They started to make their way back to the dorms in piercing silence, allowing the night ambience to take reign.
The clock read 10pm when they arrived.
They bidded one another good night before venturing to be among their sheets.
Though they were in a position of rest, they could not sleep. And they lay still and in thought. Michiko channeled her mind to Shoto's and watched his thoughts for all but two hours, which she deemed necessary to shut-eye.
There was a knock on Michiko's door.
Mina
Wake up! You are going to be late!
Mina
It's almost 8! Come get ready!
Michiko
Okay, I'm on my way.
Michiko had a quick shower and rushed to get ready. She ran to catch up with Shoto, who apparently had also woken up late.
They were the last out of the dorms.
Michiko
Good morning, Shoto!
Michiko
Did you manage to get enough sleep last night?
Shoto
Yeah... you don't seem like you shut your eyes at all!
Michiko
Oh, don't worry about me. I'm like that sometimes.
Shoto
You should be catching z's to be able to train to be a hero, you know. It's unhealthy for you to drain your energy and not rest up.
Michiko
I guess you're right...
Shoto
Come on, walk faster or we'll be late for class.
Michiko
We could teleport... hold my hand and I'll teleport with you.
Shoto looked at her and hesitated for a moment, then held her hand.
He suddenly felt like he was being pixelated: the type of television static feeling.
He closed his eyes, and he only opened them once Michiko had let go of his hand. It assured him that he was safe.
Michiko made her way to her desk.
Seat number 14, next to Shoto.
Michiko
💭This is weird. 14 is my favorite number! And I sit next to Shoto. How interesting!

Alright, take your seats.
Everyone sat down and stopped talking.
