Sam , a 20 years old exchange student who is now settled in the "Holy Tower city" where the headquarters of DEC is located . He is tank by profession who ranks first in the younger generation in defense

David , an orphan who was raised by a Spirit King in DEC belongs to the magician class.

he always like to pull pranks and is a jolly type of person

They all make the Squad 294 which is led by Rudra , who scored perfect in all classes

offense , defense , healing , magic spells and also the special class Divine cadre.

They were sent to the slaughter city to eliminate a AA class demon

As the sun rays entered David's room he rolled out of the bed ( by that I mean he fell flat on the floor ) he stood up and picked up his alarm clock lying in the corner .

"Damn! How did I overslept again? " David shouted in shock even when David oversleeping was common like it is his daily routine.

He hastily put on his DEC warrior uniform with squad 294 badge glimmering with light.

He rushed out munching a sandwich in his mouth crashed into some gentleman who was selling flowers , took his flowers and gave them to some random girl then stepped on some kid's toy breaking it .

Doing all these stuff people were cheering him......with curses but he did not stop because he didn't have the time and courage to.

He had to reach to the headquarters of DEC .

After some time he reached the front gate of the HQ with the help of wind magic .

"Finally i arrived here just in time " said David and smirked when he was already half an hour late

He went in , inquired about the room where his squad was waiting in .

In his mind he started thinking about his flashy entrance and finally becoming a warrior and when he opened the door a knife went flying two centimeters away from his ear.

At that moment he woke up from his delusional thought and saw a beautiful girl in front of his eyes , that was Madhu fighting with her childhood friend Sam .

David again started imagining things with weird look on his face.

"What are you looking at? Creep" said madhu

David snapped into reality "I..I..a.."

Sam interrupted " looks like this guy saw something terrible and forgot how to speak "

This sentence was shot at Madhu

Madhu replied " That's why you should keep your face covered"

A woman walked in laughing : "its quite lively here " . She was the coordinator for the slaughter city mission .

She further introduced them to each other

and told them their captain will join them on the way. All of them got ready to venture in adventure of demon extermination.

They all left with the convoy .

"is he looking down on us? " Madhu was little irritated

" not me , must be you two only " and Sam started laughing

Suddenly the wagon stopped , there was an uproar in the front units.

They got out of the wagon to check the situatuon , there was huge demon creating ruckus and most of the guards were injured by him .

"step back" Sam used his defensive technique baxia shield

A green barrier emerged around them. The demon smashed the barrier with full force sending tremors across the forest .

But Sam living up to his name "the best defense class" of the younger generation blocked it with ease.

* rustles *

Another two demons appeared out of the forest .

"looks like it was a pre planned ambush for us" Madhu clenched her fists . She then told them to hold off the demons while she rescues other guards .

Madhu went out of the defensive barrier while David was responsible for giving her cover . They were showing great teamwork .

Madhu used her skill divine light of rejuvenation this created a halo of golden light around her . She then proceeded to move the wounded inside the barrier .

Everything was going according to the plan . Sam and David were holding of the three demons. Only a few guards were left to rescue .

* thump thump thump *

* rumbles *

A demon jumped right in front of Madhu. The ground cracked and Madhu fell due to the tremors .

David and Sam were pre-occupied with other demons there was nothing they could do .

Madhu was scared witless and staring in awe .

"Move it Madhu" Sam shouted

but it had no effect on her

The demon roared and raised his hands and just when he was about to smash Madhu into a paste

* splatter *

The next moment the demon was slashed in half his blood was spilling out his body like it was raining blood

A young man standing on the other side wearing a black cloak with a red sword in his hand.

The young man who slashed the demon like a vegetable was very charming with a fit physique , his eyes were blue and exquisite.

Overall he was a handsome young man , his aura was strong and majestic which filled everyone with astonishment.

" how long do you intend to sit here " the young man extended his hand towards Madhu.

She snapped back to reality and stood up with his help "thanks"

" it is my responsibility " the young man replied and put his sword back into his storage crystal .

" isn't it too early to put your sword back " Sam said indicating towards the two demons who were still trying to break the shield .

" Give us a hand young hero , i dont want to die ****** " David shouted with an agitated face

* BOOM *

Sam felt enormous pressure on his shield barrier , he saw the young man punched the demon and the demon bursted out into smithereens.

" What are you doing ?" Sam shouted

" didn't he just say to give you a hand? " the young man replied and smirked .

Sensing the danger the other demon started running . In an instant the young man appeared in front of the demon and kicked him in the abdomen. The demon was launched towards the shield .

* cracks *

The shield showed visible cracks on the surface .

" What the hell dude!!!. what grudges do you hold against my shield " Sam was panting heavily

" i was just testing the so called 'best defense class' , you are actually decent " the young man chuckled

" who the hell are you to test me? " Sam was enraged

" Calm down Sam , he just saved our lives "

" sir you have extraordinary strength , you must be a demon hunter , can you show us your ID card " David said calmly

"fine , here you go " the young man sighed and threw a purple badge on him.

" A purple badge " Sam was shocked

"this badge is given to the most elite DEC warriors " Madhu said

" he is the squad captain of squad 294 , this squad is lucky to have him " David said with admiration in his eyes

Madhu and Sam sighed

" so you are Rudra? " madhu asked

David interrupted " but he is the captain of squad 294 , i thought you were smart Madhu "

Madhu punched David which was reasonable given her temperament

" yes i am Rudra " Rudra replied

" how did you know his name Madhu , do you stalk peop... "

"Our squad is squad 294 , you dumbwit!!. What were you doing when the coordinator was briefing us "

"Now let's re-organize the convoy and heal the wounded" Sam added

After the brief conversation , all of them started attending to the wounded and taking estimate of the casualties. Madhu was using her healing spell again and again.

"are you okay now? "

" Yes miss , thank you " a gaurd replied to Madhu.

Madhu was tired and running low on magic , she was panting But still healing people. Rudra saw her condition and approached her.

" looks like someone is low on magic , i can lend you some "

Madhu replied " as if it was possible "

Rudra went close to her and held her hand. Madhu's face turned red and her heart started pounding heavily.

What is this weird feeling? What is he going to do? Is he also like those other guys?

Madhu cleared off her thoughts and said

"What is the meaning of this ? , what are you doing ? " Madhu tried to free her hand

Rudra grasped her other hand too

" use your healing spell now "

"but..." Madhu was interrupted by Rudra

" trust me " Rudra said looking into her eyes

She complied with his request hesitatingly .

" Holy light of rejuvenation "

As Madhu casted her spell the whole forest seemed to be covered in her spell , everyone's wounds were healing faster and more adequately .

Everyone present there was awe struck by the scale of the spell. Madhu was also gazing at the surroundings then Rudra whispered in her ears.

" How long do you plan on holding my hands? Everyone is healed already "

Madhu suddenly sprung back and released his hand

" Who wants to hold your hand, you pervert!! " Madhu stood away pretending to be mad but she was blushing

"Why is your face red Madhu? "David asked

Madhu stared towards David

Sam covered his mouth " he said nothing "

Rudra started laughing gleefully

"What are you laughing at " Madhu shouted with an annoyed expression

" nothing..hehehe nothing "

" let's get the convoy moving " Rudra commanded the convoy to start rolling and they were back on the track to slaughter city.
