It was night time. The moon was looking like a silver plate in the sky while the twinkling stars looked like fireflies. Just that time in the deep sea, a merman with blue hair was swimming in the dark. His eyes were forwarded looking at the small light of the moon which was coming in. He had a smile on his face. He always wanted to see the moon but his parents used to tell him that the humans might see him and capture him. But he always thought that just like there are bad mermen and mermaids in their mer species there must be good humans in the human species too.

Once he reached the top he jumped and did a flip under the moon's light. His scales were shining under the moon's light and his hair was looking extra beautiful. Anybody who might see this scene surely will be mesmerized.

He again dove under the water and again came up. He looked at the moon and he was in awe. It was so beautiful. Then his eyes went to the nearby cliff. He saw a man standing at the edge of the cliff. He saw that he was just looking at the water. He didn't seem to notice him. So, he went a bit closer to the cliff to see the human. He never saw a human before so he was very curious.

But then his eyes went wide when he saw the male human jump in the water from the cliff. The man fell in the water and Vance swam towards the direction he fell.

He went near him and held his hand. The man's eyes were closed and he wasn't moving. Vance touched his cheeks, he wasn't breathing. Vance connected his lips with his to give him air. Then he took him up the shore. He still wasn't breathing. He pressed on hus chest with his both hands to make the water come out. The water came out and finally the human was breathing again.

He again gently touched his cheeks and looked at him deeply.

The human had black hair and fair skin. He had a sharp jaw line and a perfect nose bridge. But then Vance wondered why he jumped off the cliff. And after he jumped into the water he didn't even try to save himself.

He sighed.

He took him in his back and swam back in the sea. But he kept the human's head out of the water so that he could breathe. After a while he stopped in front of a ship in the water. That ship looked very old and was by the sea.

He took a deep breath and went inside with that human on his back.

Vance went inside, carefully balancing the human on his back. He saw that his parents, the king and queen of this mer pack were there. Vance gulped his saliva and swam inside the wrecked ship though the little water that was inside. His parents looked at him and the other merman and mermaids also looked at him. Vance saw how the others were whispering among them seeing the person on his back. He also saw how his parents frowned.

Vance gulped down a lump of saliva. He was nervous and scared.

Vance looked down.

Vance could hear gasps and louder whispers around him.

Flora raised her voice. Vance looked at his parents and said,

Vance took a deep breath.

Flora sighed.

Carl got up and walked towards Vance. Well, since Carl and the other mer species were in dry land they had legs not tails. Vance swam back a bit. Carl sighed and gave his hand to Vance.

Vance gulped yet again and got up and kept the male human on the ground too. Finally everyone could see his face.

Carl frowned.

Vance slowly shook his head as a no.

Vance trembled a bit as he felt nervous. He wanted to hide it from them but he couldn't.

Flora sighed and stopped.

Vance nodded his head.

Carl smiled and patted his head.

Carl frowned again and said,

His voice was cold which made Vance feel goosebumps. Vance nodded his head.

Carl smiled and patted his head again.

Flora looked worried.

Flora smiled lightly.

Vance gave a bright smile.

Vance hugged both of them. Then they also heard some gro@ning sounds from the human laying there not so far away from them. Some mermaids and merman gasped. Carl, Flora and Vance immediately broke the hug and turned to look at that human.

That human groaned and sat up. His eyes were still closed and he held his head with his hand. He was feeling dizzy. He felt pain all over his body. He held his head and opened his eyes. After adjusting to the light he looked around and saw many people looking at him. He was stunned to see so many eyes staring at him and whispering among them. He looked in front and saw Vance, Flora and Carl looking at him. Flora and Carl had a cold face while Vance looked worried. He came close to him and squatted in front of him. He also noticed the fact that he was in a place he never saw before.

But before that man could say anything he again lost his consciousness and fell down. Vance gasped and shook him. Then Flora noticed that the man was bleeding from behind.

Now Vance, Carl and everyone else noticed it.

Vance looked at his parents.

Flora sighed and nodded her head. Vance's eyes were now looking at his father. He still had a cold face.

Vance smiled and jumped into the water.

After he left Flora looked at Carl who was looking at that unconscious man.

After that he turned and left. Flora sighed and followed after him.

Vance was swimming in the vast ocean under the moon's light.

He took the medicinal herbs that are found deep under the sea. (If it is not found then imagine)

He took the herbs and again swam back to the ship quickly. But after he went back he didn't see that human. He looked at his parents and asked with a worried look on his face,

Carl looked at him and said,

Flora sighed and smiled.

Vance nodded his head. He started to follow Flora as she led him to the room where that male human was. After that Flora left. The room was actually clean. The ship might look wrecked from outside but from inside it looks very luxurious. Vance closed the door. He sat beside that human and kept his hand on the forehead. He had a fever. Vance frowned. He took off his clothes and filled a tub with clean water. He took a towel and wiped his whole body. He cleaned his wounds and wrapped it after putting the medicinal herb on it.

Vance then brushed that human's black hair and mumbled.

He sighed.

He smiled.
