The atmosphere remained tense throughout the day, filled with anticipation of forthcoming occurrences. Suddenly, a seemingly middle-aged man attacked a young woman while she was attempting to release a bird from its cage.

A gentle, soothing voice drifted up from downstairs, saying, "Wake up, dear."

A lovely, captivating young girl awoke, extended her arms in a stretch, and yawned.

Danyi was on the verge of turning 18 next month. After spending half an hour in the bathroom, she emerged dressed in her school uniform, with her makeup applied and hair styled. "Mom, where's my breakfast?'' she asked loudly. Her mother replied that it was on the table, where Krystal quickly ate it.

She made her way to the bus station to board her ride. It appeared as though the skies were echoing our happiness, painting themselves a brilliant shade of blue. The buzz of conversation filled the air. The day was teeming with energy, but something was noticeably different. What was it, though?

Danyi ambled along the pavement, engrossed in her mobile device. She had the sense that someone was tailing her from a distance. She glanced over her shoulder, yet it was empty. Furthermore, she proceeded with her stroll. Roughly a quarter of an hour afterwards, she came to a halt at a bus depot. While waiting for the bus, she pulled out a book from her bag and started looking through it. “Are you waiting for the bus to head to school?” A soft and mild voice became audible. She raised her face toward the source of the voice.

A lady in her thirties faced her, sporting eyes as brilliant as emeralds and lips reminiscent of peaches, presenting a form that many men find desirable.

She gave her a smile and carried on with her speech. “My name is Choi Soojin, and I hold the position of CEO at STAR ENTERTAINMENT.” Upon hearing her words, Danyi's eyes grew wide. Soojin went on to say, "I have been searching for the ideal girl to become the face of my entertainment company, yet I haven't found the perfect fit. However, upon seeing you, I felt you could be the next star of my enterprise." “But”, taking a brief pause, Danyi resumed, "I'm still underage, and my schooling is incomplete." “It won't be a significant issue; numerous young idols are making their debut at an early age and finding success in their careers. What seems to be the issue with you? Your appearance exudes elegance and allure.”

Soojin instructed Danyi to convene at the café at 6 p.m. the following day. Afterwards, she left, and soon Danyi's bus pulled up. She hastened to get on, her thoughts consumed by the earlier event during the ride.

The bus reached another stop, but Danyi was lost in her thoughts. It came to an abrupt halt, causing her to bump her head against someone's shoulder, which injured her due to its stiffness. Without seeing his face, she quickly apologized to the person and disembarked from the bus.

While at school, she was distracted by thoughts of the woman who had brought up the subject. Nonetheless, her ultimate ambition has always been to become an idol, a dream she has nurtured since she was young. Why is she taking so much time to accept the offer?

Following her school day, she walked in her direction, so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't even consider taking the bus.

Upon arriving home, she noticed her mother had returned from the office and was getting ready to make dinner. Yet, she failed to acknowledge her mother's presence and behaved as if she wasn't there.

She headed directly to her room and secured herself inside. Her mother observed and monitored every action of her daughter. Yet, she kept quiet. Her eyes quivered, on the verge of spilling tears. She never imagined that her sole cherished daughter would act in such a way. Ever since her husband's demise a decade prior, she had devoted herself to raising her child single-handedly, never considering remarriage for fear that a new spouse would not welcome her daughter. She was consumed by the fear that her daughter would distance herself as much as possible.

Danyi stood under the icy cascade of the shower, her sight blurred by the water as though she were searching for something elusive. All she yearned for was to escape and conceal herself, unable to comprehend the origin of her overwhelming feelings, feelings that were unfamiliar to her experience.

Eventually, she turned off the shower that had been emitting ice-cold water, her skin having developed wrinkles from the prolonged exposure.

Upon exiting the bathroom, she detected a knock at her bedroom door. Clad only in a towel wrapped around her, she approached and opened the door to find her mother standing there.

“What brings you here at this moment?” “Are you doing alright?” Her response was accompanied by a worried expression. “Have you come to ask about this?” Her expression of thoughts was clumsy. Her mother's heart was deeply hurt by her words. “Your well-being has been on my mind recently. I've noticed you're getting slimmer with each passing day. Is your appetite alright?” She inquired with enthusiasm. “Mom, rest assured, I'm fine; there's no need for concern. I'm currently following a diet. Moreover, I think it's time for you to rest”. “What about your evening meal?” “Mom, I mentioned just a moment ago that I'm ‘dieting’, therefore I won't be eating anything right now.” She somehow sent her mom from there.

Wrapped in her towel, she slipped into her nightgown. Gazing at her reflection, she looked as flawless as a sculpture. Would she go to see Ms. Choi, or wouldn't she? As previously stated, she had the ideal qualities for an idol. Her appearance was impeccable, and her hourglass figure seemed tailor-made for any outfit. She had a figure that could make any attire look captivating, complemented by her slender waist. The figure was so striking that it captured the attention of all who saw it. Perfect for an idol.

The next morning, Danyi woke up quickly, her mind consumed by the upcoming meeting with Ms. Choi. As it was the weekend, her school was closed.

Noticing it was already 9 a.m., she proceeded to freshen up in the bathroom.

The dress she was wearing had a neckline in the shape of a V, which exposed her collarbone. The neckline was slightly low-cut and showed a hint of her cleavage. She had her hair in a ponytail. She was wearing sneakers and her appearance had a princess-like vibe.

Furthermore, she made her way down the stairs and took a seat at the dining table, then reached out to her mother to join her for breakfast. Her mother was taken aback, as it was out of character for her daughter to rise in the morning without being roused. She was somehow puzzuled. Today, however, she had awoken silently. After serving Danyi her breakfast, her mother inquired about the unusually early start to her day. Danyi explained that she had to visit a friend's place to work on school assignments.

Despite her mother's belief in her daughter's words, she was unaware that her daughter had other intentions to went outside. They bid farewell to one another and went their separate ways.

Danyi had a remarkable day today. Her future will be decided based on her actions today. Even though her appointment being today at six o'clock, she left early from home. She was nervous. Her mind was full of negative thoughts. She went to a near café and order an ice coffee. While she was drinking her coffee she got a call from unknown number. After answering her phone, she recognized the voice on the other end.

“I am Choi Soojin. Are you ready for the contract?” At first, she hesitated but then she replied. “Yeah.” “Do your parents agree on you becoming an idol? They need to discuss the amount with us for your training.” “Yes, they agree, but they are unable to have a conversation with you so you can talk with me.” She told a lie. “Is there any problem?” “No.” After conversing for another minute, they ended the call.

She consistently lied about her parents and avoided mentioning them to anyone. She always desired to live alone. Not only that, but she was happy today. Now she can reveal her previously hidden talent to everyone. However, deep down, she was feeling incredibly depressed, although she chose not to dwell on it.

After leaving the café, she headed towards a peaceful alley that was filled with tranquility. Despite its calmness, there were numerous noises emanating from within. Danyi feels a chill. She regrets coming home from here. She wants to find a shortcut from here. Not only that, but she was walking so fast that if someone was following her, her legs were moving quickly. While she was gazing at the ground, she failed to notice someone standing in front of her.
