Well according to me I think the most important thing one should have to communicate with larger amount of people is the talent how to talk as not all the people knows how to talk infront of many people even if they have confident, presence of mind etc...

And then it's confident because I feel if we talk to many people then surely all of them would have different opinions and there might be many people who will oppose you while you stating your point so if one lacks of that confident and that positive attitude then things could go in pretty bad way

and then my 3rd point is having enough knowledge about the topic as if you won't have proper knowledge about the topic then there might be many conflicts among the people and it will make people more confused
