Nayuki: "The day has finally arrived father, where I Nayuki Nayoda will become heroine, I will protect Nemonosa no matter the cause."

She says this as she is putting her armor and suit on. She then begins to run down the stairs, where she finds her older sister Kurekkusu Sagawa.

Kurekkusu: "Nayuki, have you seen father, I wanted to talk to him about something."

Nayuki: "No, I haven't seen father at all today, the last time I have seen father is when he went to go visit mothers grave yesterday. Is something the matter with father, he usually comes home to tell me who I am going to be marrying, all the time, and now that it is the day I am becoming queen, he isn't here, you think maybe he is too scared for me to take over Nemonosa?"

Kurekkusu: "Nayuki, this is a big day for you, I, father, and of course mother, so if something is the matter with father, it would be you, you are the reason why he isn't here, not because he thinks you are unfit to protect Nosa, but because you are fit to protect Nosa, even without marrying. You have practiced nothing but nosajeshi your whole life, you think that now he'd believe that you are unfit to protect Nosa, Nayuki?"

Nayuki: "(She's right, I can't possibly think that father would think such things on a day like this, after all, he made sure that when the day comes for someone to protect Nosa, it would be me. He wouldn't be missing a day like this purposely, so why isn't he here? God, please tell me what I'm thinking can't be the case, he couldn't be right, on a day like this, there is no way our father was loved by everyone, but even so, love can make you make enemies... gosh I have to tell Kurekkusu.) Kurekkusu, you and I both know father has been waiting for this day since I was promoted to Samurai, he couldn't possibly be missing a special day like this for the heck of it"

Kurekkusu: ''You aren't thinking that something happened to our father right, the great Lord Sohenzu, the one who is a master of noasjeshi, no that is a terrible thought... don't think of things like that at serious times like these... I can't deal with this right now Nayuki, I'm going to my lover's house... I'll see you later."

 Nayuki: "With that my sister was out of sight, ( lovers house? When did she get a lover... ugh never mind that Nayuki, leave her be) and although I wanted to, I didn't go after her, for even I wouldn't have believed me if I said silly things like that, so with that, I knew the wedding would have to wait... for I have a mission I have to complete, and that is to bring Lord Sohenzu home...Sorry mother, but you know me, I cannot return home if this mission isn't completed, for that would make me no samurai at all, and unworthy of the title heroine... Don't worry mother, I will come back home to you, and father will come home with me, for he has to be the one to make the wedding happen, I won't be gone long mother, I love you, see you soon!"

With that, Nayuki's adventure begins, she doesn't know what she is about to get into, but she's a brave samurai, so she cares not what is in her way, as long as she can see her father again, she will cut anything and anyone in her path from reaching him.

Nayuki has finally stepped outside Akumu (Nada's residence), to go on her quest on the search of her father... although she knows not of where she is headed, she knows that no matter where she goes, she is going to find out where he is, and why he isn't home. And although it could be a ton of places, she keeps thinking that it couldn't be too far from Nemonasa, so with that, she starts searching for him at the famous " Nom Nom Diners," which is where everyone in the Nayoda estate goes to eat.

Nayuki: "Okay, if father did stop by, I'm pretty sure on of the waitresses seen him step in, they couldn't have missed Lord Nada, for he owns this restaurant."

As Nayuki was all in her headspace, a waitress walks up to her, but Nayuki is to in her thoughts to notice that the waitress looks like she is trying to tell her something urgently.

Waitress: "Ms. Nayoda, I have an urgent message sent from an anonymous person, he delivered it to me, and quickly fled, leaving me no room to ask for his name. Although, he looked powerful enough to be a relative to the Nayoda estate, and handsome as well, hehe."

Nayuki: "Thank you, ma'am, may I order something, I am quite hungry, and I will be here for patrol for a while, so I might as well stay."

Waitress: "Of course Ms.Nayoda, we are actually having a special today called the 'Nasa nightmare' that was inspired by Lord Sohenzu himself, if you are interested, it is a ramen dozo with a hot pot as a side dish, and it comes with a free drink since you are family to the Nayoda Estate. By the way my name is Ms Kuzuhime, please don't call me ma'am, makes me sound older than I already am."

Nayuki: "Forgive me, if I may Ms. Kuzuhime, I would actually like to ask you a few questions before I order anything in particular. Was my father here yesterday, at all, and if he was, did he eat alone, or was he accompanied by someone?"

Kuzuhime: "Ms. Nayoda, I wasn't on shift yesterday, so I am unable to answer your questions, my deepest apologies."

Oddly, the waitress ran away, without even asking Nayuki what she wanted to eat, and with that, she had already got her answer if her father had eaten at Nom Nom's Diner yesterday, and now she has a lead on who could've been involved with his absence.

Nayuki: "Halt woman, you dare deny that you were on shift yesterday when it is you I see here every morning, and you were always the one asking me how Lord Nayoda is doing, I should've known to come here first."

The woman had bowed before Nayuki, and as she bowed tears began to roll from her eyes, and all you can hear was pain, pain in her voice, that didn't seem like a hoax, but genuine pain.

Kuzuhime: "Ms. Nayoda, the man that came in, he said that if I told you about his visit, that he would kill my little sister... I almost dropped all the trays in my hand when he uttered such words, for I have no idea who this man is, but he knew about my sister... forgive me Lord Nayoda, for I have failed you."

Nayuki: "Ms. Kuzuhime, you are no longer allowed to work in the Estate business, and you are to be removed from working at 'Nom Nom's Diner' immediately. You are to stay away from the Nayoda residence, and if I hear anything else about you Ms. Kuzuhime, you and your sister are to no longer live in Nemonasa."

Shocked at what Ms. Nayoda said, the waitress did nothing but cry more, and couldn't pick herself up off the floor, and the costumers couldn't help but focus on the young Lord being so rude towards the waitress.

Nayuki: "On your feet Ms. Kuzuhime, for I have not punished you, but granted you protection from the anonymous man that approached you at my diner, I fear that you and your sister's life is in great danger, so for that, I shall do what needs to be done as a lord. One more thing Ms. Kuzuhime, there is a motel near Nemonasa, right outside its gateway, if you feel as if you and your sister are in danger, just tell the employees that Nayuki sent you, and you can stay there as long as you like. Here, take a picture of my nosa identification, if you need anything, call me right away."

Kuzuhime: "Th- Thank you so much Lord Nayoda, I shall get my things right this second, for I have wasted too much time now... I hope that you find your father Ms. Nayoda, and when you do, tell him Ms. Kuzuhime said hi!"

With that, the waitress slipped Nayuki a piece of paper with a kunai on it, and as Lord Nayoda opened the paper, it said: "This is the symbol the anonymous man walked in with, it was engraved onto his hand, hope this helps!" Before Nayuki can say anything to the waitress, she was already gone, nowhere to be found... and although she left doing just as Lord Nayoda said, Nayuki felt as if she could've handled the situation a lot differently, but even so, rules are rules, and she knows that no matter what... it's power over pride.

As Nayuki gathered her thoughts about who this anonymous man with a kunai symbol engraved on his hand could be, she stopped at the park in Sanshainbarē (Sunshine Valley), because that is where she usually comes up with strategies to complete her missions the fastest. And although there were plenty of kids that could mess up her thought process at any moment, they did not cause her to lose focus at all.

Nayuki: "So, my father was at 'Nom Nom Diners' the day he went missing, and it has something to do with this man that has a kunai engraved on his palm? What the hell am I supposed to do with information like that, it's so little to go off of, and from what I remember, Sohenzu was never involved in a gang, so why would some random guy come looking for father? I doubt he was in debt, but what other reason would you have to kidnap Lord Sohenzu?"

As Nayuki was thinking about what could've been the reason for her father's disappearance, she noticed that this young girl was being bullied by trainees ( those who want to be Samurai or Yakuza), and it seemed as if the teacher was trying to stop that from happening.

Teacher: "Miroka, and King, leave Kurai Yoru alone, you are all teammates, not enemies, so start acting like one, or I will disband this team, and none of you could become samurai-like Lord Sohenzu."

King: "Fine Hikakage, but Kurai started it, she was supposed to take down that bad man at the gateway of Nemonasa, and she didn't, so I and Miroka were just trying to teach her lesson."

Hikakage: "Uggh, you are no samurai at all, you are mooks! When your teammate fails to fulfill their part of the mission, you don't just let them end in failure, you help them so that you all succeed, you guys couldn't even maintain basic knowledge like that from "Haiteku.' I'm very disappointed in all three of you guys, Miroka, you are very talented in nosajeshi, so you should've been leader, Yoru, you are talented in charming your enemies, but that will not do for all of your fights, you must learn to charm your enemy, and attack them when they are at their weakest, and King... you, you are good at long-distance fighting, I see how you throw your kunai's at the pigeons that rest on the bench, even if Miroka and Yoru failed to use their abilities correctly, there's no way that you would've missed a single shot. So why did you miss, why was the enemy not taken down when I arrived at the gateway of Nemonasa? Were you afraid to get hurt King, is that why you failed to throw a Kunai at this man?"

King: "Master Hikakage, I wasn't afraid to throw the kunai at the man, I felt like I had no need to since there was already one in his palm, he looked injured enough, so I thought that we should've left him be. That is why we failed the mission Hikakage, so I shall be removed from the team, not Miroka or Yoru."

Hikakage: "The three of you, will write a page to Lord Sohenzu stating why you are worthy to become either a samurai or Yakuza, and I don't just want you giving bland sentences, you will go in-depth as if this will be the last paper you write, and when you are writing these papers you address yourself by your real names and not the nicknames I gave you, do you understand me?"

They all nod in response to Master Hikakage's words, and as he was going to instruct them on what to do next, Nayuki stops their conversation.

Nayuki: "Hikakage is it? I was wondering if I can ask you a few questions about what you guys were discussing earlier if you don't mind... It's about the man with the kunai on his palm, King mentioned something about that, I need to know if this man was really by the gateway of Nemonasa or not."

Hikakage: "I'm not going to disclose personal information like that to some random chick, so if you can excuse me, I and my pupils have something we have to attend to."

Nayuki: "I'm not just any woman, keep in contact with me Hikakage, Lord of the Day and you won't regret it... your pupils too, if you all decide to keep in contact with me and help me find who I am searching for, I will grant you with your dreams, and that is meeting Lord Sohenzu right?"

Hikakage: "Ho- how do you know that about me, and how do you know that my students wish to see Lord Sohenzu, are you a spy? Are you someone that was working with the guy that we were trying to capture, and you're trying to make it seem like something else, so you can capture my students because they were randomly assigned that mission? I will not let you, lay a FINGER ON THEM, SO BACK OF LADY, or I will have no choice but to pull out my sword on you, and I really don't want to hurt a woman."

Nayuki looks at Hikakage, and begins to laugh so much that even she couldn't be surprised by it, she never laughed with anyone but her father, and as she thought that she began to get red, but ignored it.

Nayuki: "Did I hear that correctly?"
