Episode 1
Noah and Adam have never gotten along before in their lives
They're both the complete opposites of each other
Everyone at school knows that as well
But as much as someone would like to put an end to their little fued, no one does because it would be pointless to try
Most days both boys keep to their separate friend groups as far away from each other as possible
However that soon changes when Noah transfers to Adam's English class

I can't believe I have to be in the same class as that dickface
Noah
This is so unbelievable
Dane
Maybe it won't be too bad
Noah
I just hope I get to sit as far away from him as possible
Noah
His existence doesn't have the right to be close to mine
Dane
He's not worth the overthinking and we're gonna be late
Noah and Dane both walk to their English class while making short small talk along the way
By the time they arrived, most of the class had already seated themselves, leaving Noah to stand at the front awkwardly as he waited for the teacher to arrive

As of today we have a new student joining us
Teacher
I'd like you to meet your new classmate, Noah
Noah
*gives the class a small smile, making sure to avoid eye contact with Adam*

Noah you can sit on the row behind Matthew
Teacher
there's an empty seat on the end
(the row in front of Adam's)
(and it just so happens that the empty seat is right in front of him)

*rolls his eyes at Adam then sits down*

*continues with the lesson*

As we discussed last week, today will be the first day of your English group exam
Teacher
Your task is to complete a 10 page story- fiction or non fiction- and submit it to me before the end of this half term
(which is in two and a half weeks)
Teacher
I've printed off a list of all the groups which is hanging up outside the classroom
Teacher
Groups are final so don't ask to be switched
Noah
*walks towards Dane who's looking at the group list*
Dane
*looks at Noah with an uneasy expression*

*steps to the side so he can see the list*

I am not working in a group with Adam
Adam
*talking with his two friends*
Cade
We can do our half of the project and they'll do theirs
Cade
We won't even have to work together
Matthew
Listen to us for once
Matthew
Unless you want to work with them
Dane
*walks up to Adam and his friends*

I was um.. wondering when you guys wanted to get started on the project
Adam
We ain't doing it with you
Adam
So run along and tell your f*ggot friend to piss off

*focuses his gaze on the floor and walks away*

Where did you walk off to?
Dane
I wanted to know when we're starting this project

There's no way I'm failing over his stupid attitude

He told me to piss off and that he isn't doing it

Maybe you could go over there and convince him to work with us

After all, you do get what you want a lot

But I'd rather not work with a homophobe

*stares at Dane with one eyebrow raised*

But after this project is over I don't want anything to do with him, okay?

*walks up to Adam and pulls the back of his collar*

*in an unbothered tone*

Cut the dramatics, we're doing this stupid project whether you like it or not

*about to intervene but doesn't*

*turns around out of Noah's grip*

And what makes you think I want to work with you?
Noah
But you're doing it anyway

*cuts him off by walking away and back to Dane*

Wait you actually got him to work with us?
Noah
As you said earlier, I get what I want a lot

Do you think Noah and Dane forgot about the project?

Probably not but let's hope for the best

Honestly I'm more worried for Adam than for us
Matthew
Being in school with them is bad enough so imagine how he'll react once they're in his house

*walks up to Adam's door and knocks on it*

*opens the door and steps aside for them without saying a word*

Adam
*steps to the side so Noah and Dane can walk in*

*awkwardly walks in with Dane behind him*

💭 why is everyone acting like someone's died?
Noah
💭 we're only here to do a stupid project

Welcome to Adam's house guys!!
Adam
*gives Matthew a cold stare*
Matthew
Okay well in my defense someone had to say something
Matthew
and I knew no one else would so-
Cade
But did you have to say it like that?
Adam
Well now that you've broken the ice, we might as well get on with this
Adam
*stares at Noah and Dane*

I don't want you two here any longer than you have to be
Noah
Oh trust me there's about a million things I'd rather be doing right now than standing in your house

*feels a sudden wave of anger*

*sighs out his anger*

The work stuff is in the living room

Race you to the couch, Cade
Dane
*talking quietly to Noah*

Noah
Not that I've noticed

I've only ever seen them as cold hearted cunts

Maybe those two aren't as bad as we thought?
Adam
*glares at them both*
Adam

Noah
I believe you said it was this way

*walks towards the living room with Dane*

*rolls his eyes and follows behind them*

Your just jealous that I'm amazing

I won fair and square

Actually I won four out of the five rounds which makes me the winner
Noah
Well I scored the most goals in all five games which makes me the winner
Dane
I wanna be a winner too guys

*gives them a sad pout*
Three hours had passed since everyone arrived at Adam's house
The first hour was spent working on a plan for their English project
Everything turned out to be quite normal until Matthew challenged Cade to a game of penalty shootout out of boredom
The rest soon followed in line as they too were becoming bored of constant work
One round turned into two and two into three which kept going until they hit the fifth round mark
Their game wasn't supposed to drag out for so long and Adam, Noah and Dane wasn't supposed to join in either however all five boys found themselves actually having fun together
From a look through the window you couldn't even tell there were two enemies sitting together on the same couch
They all had ignored the fact that they were supposed to be bitter rivals for the sake of a "quick" break although their temporary peace treaty lasted much longer than a few rounds of football

*slouches down in his seat*
Cade
*slaps Matthew's stomach*
Dane
Matthew has a point though
Adam
*puts his controller down*
Adam
What do you guys want for dinner?
Dane
I kinda want spaghetti
Noah
Tacos are the much better food though
Adam
Since no one can come to an agreement, I'll decide
Matthew
*gives him a sad pout*

*puts his index finger on Matthew's lips*

Noah
*sits back down on the couch*

Alright then, I'm trusting you not to poison us

While Adam was still cooking in the kitchen the rest of the boys were laying on the living room floor out of pure boredom
They had been occupying themselves by talking up until now when everything just seemed to stop
Adam
*walks into the living room*
Adam
*notices everyone on the floor*
Matthew
We were bored, okay?
Matthew
And your floor's quite comfortable
Adam
Jesus, you guys are like kids
Everyone got up and walked into the kitchen only to see the best four course meal they've ever seen in their whole lives
Everyone was practically speechless at the sight of a hand made feast in front of them
Cade
Your asking us if all of this is good enough?
Cade
Mate it's fucking amazing
Noah
This looks fit for a king
Dane
How could you make all of this in such short time?
Dane
It looks like it took hours to do
Matthew
Yeah you've really outdone yourself with this, Adam

Well there's lots of you here so I thought I'd make lots

And now there's something for everyone

*runs towards the plate and stares at it in awe*

*chuckles while looking at him*

Pick a plate and dig in

*has his head on the table*

I think I ate too much

I definitely ate too much as well

I did tell you not to have a third plate

I couldn't help myself

I'm glad you guys liked my food then

You're cooking for me more often

Shit we need to get home

*pulls himself from the table as if he was glued to it*
They both walk to the door and put their shoes on in almost complete silence
Adam followed behind them to see them out before they left
Noah
*turns around to face Adam*
Adam
Have a good night guys

*turns back around and walks down the pathway a bit*

*waves goodbye to Adam before catching up to Noah*
Dane
*lost in his own thoughts while walking mindlessly*
