The story starts, when our FL(female lead) 'Katherine 'was 10 years old........

One day when she was going to school by passing through a street, she saw a lost kitten, injured and crying near the trash can. (additional info -Katherine loves animals) she went near to that kitten, bend down her knees and hold that kitten gently and came back home. She didn't go school that day and came back home with that kitten. Her mom saw her with that kitten, but she didn't scold her for not going to school because she knew (mother knows) that Kat(Kat\=Katherine, her family or close friends call her 'Kat ') loves animals. She saw (mother) that kitten is injured, she asked Kat that where she found that kitten and immediately bring the first add box. Kat told her mom the whole story while her mom gives first add to that kitten.

After that Kat asked her mom if that kitten can stay with them.First her mom said no to Kat....but when Kat makes cute face with teary eyes, her mom said OK with a condition if Kat can take care of that kitten properly. After hearing that Katherine got so happy and she hug her kitten.Then Kat asked her mom what should they call that kitten....... Kat said to her mom if they can call her (kitten) Kiki......her mom said OK if she wants (Kat). Kat was so happy to hear that. After that Kat spend most of her time with kiki, She plays with her(kiki),eats with her , sleep with her, basically all the time Kat keeps kiki besides her.Kat takes care of kiki so well.Kat call herself kiki's mother now(is'nt is cute). Sometimes they go park to play. one day when Kat and kiki are playing in park..... Kat saw some kids are teasing a street dog, they are slidly far from her but she can see them. she is about to go there but suddenly she saw a boy went there and asked them to not tease that dog, if they don't listen to him he will complain to nearest police station (in kids voice..... imagine one kid threatening in a cute voice 😊),After heard that those kids ran away from there. Kat saw all of that but she didn't see his face,she saw his back only. he was wearing a blue colored T-shirt with cat design on his back. Kat was kinda happy that he saved that dog from those kids. she smiled and said to kiki that they should thank him for saving that dog. while talking to kiki she noticed that he was not there..... he already left. Kat got sad and told kiki, they will thank him when they will meet him someday. After that they went home. That day before going to bed she mentioned him in her diary while talking to kiki about him (Since childhood Kat had a habit of writing diary before going to bed).After that she fell sleep. Next day Kat and kiki went that park again but they couldn't find that boy. Time flies .....but they never met or found that boy again.

After few months, one day Kat and her bestie Nina ( Nina is Kat's best friend since first grade) were playing in Near by park, kiki was also with them, Nina told Kat that she is craving for ice cream so they should go to near by ice cream Food truck...... Kat said OK it will be my treat (that day was day after her birthday and she got some money as her birthday gift). That's why she said that it will be her treat to Nina.

They went to that food truck and bought two ice cream cone.they ate ice-cream and suddenly Nina noticed that kiki is missing....................
