"Hey, Emilia what are you doing?" Jason said as he sat next to me on the cold park bench by our apartment building. Jason was a tall blonde, but big black eyes. He was sweet and gentle, Jason only looked as if he was a popular kid in highschool but he was very shy, but he showed a whole different side of him to me.

"Nothing." I said as I looked down at my feet. "Nothing" I wandered to myself. It Obviously didn't feel like nothing, but something was hurting me inside, as if someone took a knife and stabbed me right through my heart.

"Nothing." I sighed gently. It's only been 2 years since dad's passing. So why did it still hurt? Was it because of all the memories?

"Don't worry Emilia. Everything will be better soon." Jason said as he held me in his arms.

"YOUR FREEZING!" He jumped,"Come on we better go inside before you catch a cold."

I got up and Jason and I went to my apartment. "Jason." I said with a heavy sigh. "Do you really think dad is just. Gone?" I said. I was still astonished by the fact that. My father. was dead. It couldn't be. It can't be.

"Emilia, you have to stop thinking about him." Jason said as he handed me some hot tea. "I know, I know. But he is-" I looked down and sighed "...was my dad." I broke into tears when I heard those words come out of my mouth.

"Emilia, he will, and always will be your father no where he is in this universe. He is always in your heart." Jason said as he took my tea and sat it down on the coffee table. I started to laugh "That sounded like a quote from a movie!" I said as I tried to lighten up the mood. Jason laughed "Glad to see your still the cheerful Emilia I know."

I looked at Jason as if he was wise, normally he was quite loud around me. Jason and I would always play fight. Jason hasn't seem to be himself lately, as if something was troubling his mind as well.

"Jason.." I said as I walked to the seat next to him at the dining table. "Is there something bothering you?" I said as I looked at him. He studied my face for a little while.

"Well, look at the time, it's time for my midnight jog, got a go! Bye!" He  ran out the door before I could say anything else. I grabbed my jacket and locked the door as I ran out to find Jason. I saw him sitting at the park bench.

"Thought I might have caught you here." I said as I sat by him on  the bench.

"Things are just..nevermind." Jason said as he looked down and put his hands in his pockets.

"No, tell me, I'll listen. Please." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder. He rested his head on mine and let out a heavy sigh, then a groan "I dont feel so good..." a few moments passed and then Jason finally spoke up again "...but now that i think about it things are just going to be different. With Lyla and your mom always gone for photo shoots, and now you moving to a whole other continent. What do expect? It's like everyone is leaving to do something big! And I'm just here."

It was true though, me and Jason were all that each of us ever had, his mom lives in whole other state and it's too far to travel there, and my mom and Lyla were always off to some photoshoot. My mom was a photographer and Lyla is Jason's twin sister. Lyla always wanted to be a model, with her rosey red lips and long black glossy hair. She was beautiful. I could never be compared to her. Me on the other hand, with moving and everything. I was moving to Korea to go to a new school called "Seoul Academy" it was a better school and I would most likely get a better chance at getting a scholarship.

"Maybe you could come with me?" I said as I lifted my head from his shoulder.

"Emilia..." he said as he looked at me.

"Listen it's cold, we should head inside before we get sick." I said as I walked Into my apartment. I heard the door close behind me, though I did not close the door. "Wha-" I looked behind me and Jason is standing there. "Oh.." I said grabbing my heart. "You scared me there for a second, I thought you were a intruder for a minute." I said looking at Jason relieved.

Jason was acting strange, he locked the door and started to walk towards me.

"Y-yes?" I said stuttered, I bumped into my bed and fell. Jason pushed me and was leaning over me. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" I said as I tried to get out of his grasp. I looked at the table and there were so many beer cans, more then I could count. Jason was drunk.

Jason eventually passed out on the couch and I turned his body sideways.

A couple hours passed by and I checked the time. "It's only 10:00?!" I said surprised. I was surprised because it felt much later then that. I decided to write Jason a note saying that I went out for a bit while he was asleep, and that I'll be home soon in case he wakes up.

I grabbed my stuff and locked the door behind me. I walked to the bench just to admire the stars, a nice cool breeze brushed pass me and I got chills.

"Shit! I forgot my jacket!" It was cold out and darker then normal, which sounds weird, but it's true. "Hey." I froze. It wasn't someone I knew, but it was a familiar voice, but I can't remeber where I heard it.

"It's a cold night, and your not wearing anything but a loose Long sleeve shirt. Here!" The hooded man handed me his jacket.

"I couldn't possibly take this. I'll go inside and get my own, but thank you very much." I said as I tried to go into my apartment building, but the strange man blocked me from entering. "Please just take it." It was dark and all I could see was his pearly white smile in the mist of night.

"Well, what would you want in return?" I asked him, I didn't want to just take his stuff and not repay him.

"Oh no needs. You can keep it, I dont stay in this country often anyways, but if you would like. Could you show me around?" He said as I put on his hoodie.

"Sure, I'd love to!" I said as we started our way to the spongedocks. I thought it was simple enough. Or so I thought.

Tonight I thought it was going to be an average, normal night, but I knew it wasn't. First, Jason got drunk, and now I'm walking with some random weirdo to the spongedocks.

"So, where are we going little lady?" The hooded man said as we were walking. I didn't live quite far from there, but it did take quite some walking.

"Well, that's a surprise." I said "but were almost there" he looked at me and I spoke up again, I stopped walking. "I never caught your name" I asked, he looked down.

"My name is Jacob." He said. "Well, I'm Emilia."I said as I stuck out my hand.

"Yea, I'm aware." Jacob said while moving around me.

"Wait. What?" I looked at him. I never met this dude before.

"How do you know my name?" He looked back at me.

"Well, let's just say I have been watching you..." he paused "but not in that weird way though!..." he paused again. "...I have just been keeping an eye on you."

I cocked an eyebrow. "Okay?" I said and we kept on walking. What did he mean he "kept an eye on me" like what the hell.....does that mean....he was stalking me?

After about 30 minutes of walking in complete, awkward, silence we finally arrived to the spongedocks. Most of the stores were closed but it still looked nice at night. You could really see the stars tonight.

"Oh, there's restaurant open!" Jacob said pointing to a little cafe

"That's a cafe." I said as we started to walk towards it.

"You first milady." Jacob said as he held the door for me.

Jacob held the door open for me as we entered the little cafe.

"Hey Emilia! Long time no see!" The clerk said. "Benny!" I ran up and gave him a big hug. It's been a few months since I last saw him. "It's been a few months since we lost saw each other. How are you doing?" I said as I took out my wallet from my pocket. "Good, and you? Who's this young fella?" Benny said while examining Jacob.

"I'm Jacob. I don't come to America often." Jacob said while looking down. It was hard to see his face. All you could see is his silver hair from under his hat.

"Well Jacob. I'm Benny. Nice to meet you." Benny said. "So what can I get yall?" I looked at the menu. "Can I get an original please." I told Benny and then looked at Jacob.

"I"ll get what little lady here is getting." Jacob said getting out his wallet.

Jacob looked at me. I saw his gorgeous blue eyes and saw a scar near his eye.

"I'll pay" Jacob said while taking out a few dollars.

"What? No your my guest." I said taking his dollars and putting them back in his wallet and placing his wallet in the pocket of his hoodie.

"Here Benny." I handed him my money. "Is that for here or to-go?" Benny asked while placing the money in the cash register.

"To-Go please." I said as Benny handed me back my change.

I sat down where Jacob. "Why not take off your hat?" I asked. Jacob lifted his head a little. "Because of this scar. The one you have probably already noticed. Besides you don't need to see what I look like.." he paused for a few moments "..and that's probably for the best."

"What happened to cause that scar?" I asked. I looked at him, and he looked down.

"Of course you don't remeber what happened. Or me." He said. It was true I did lose part of my memory from the accident. More like the war.
