Sofia's POV

I was depressed & frustrated, for the past 2 months. Depressed because I was unable to forget his bitter words against me. Frustrated, ugh, the cause of my frustration is none other than the God of Thunder, Zeus. Sorry, let me introduce myself, the name is Sofia Faaris, age 25. Currently I'm in Olympia, where the Greek gods live. Yup, where gods like Zeus, Hades etc. Truth be told I came here by accident using a time-machine. Shocked, so was I for it was an experimental project made by my Professor. This happened about 2 years ago, I live in New York City, USA. As usual I was winding up the lab, cleaning & putting everything in its place. Thats when my 'evil' stepsister, Tanya Jennings Roberts, along with her plastic minions. They had outnumbered me because my group had already left along with Professor Carter. They were protective of me since I was the only girl in the group of 5 boys counting the Professor. Their names are respectively, Lionel Summers, he is our headmaster's nephew. Next is Allen Mathew, Lukas Grant, Wayne Reeves, he is half French. A senior might I add, lastly Tanya's latest toy boy named Miles Black. But somehow Tanya waltzes her way in our group besides the fact that she has never understood the basic terms of PhD. Her father the billionaire, Hector Jennings, who was one of the school board members. As for my Dad, Damien Rogers owns an established bakery of confectionery, since 1953, my grandparent's pride. Tanya's Mom & my Dad are married, my Mom, Yasmeen & them were best friends since high school. My Mom died of Breast cancer when I was 10 years old & my brother, Jamaal was 3. Dad was devastated after Mom died, so I had to take over. Everyone said that I was like my mother, slightly tall for 5ft 6 inches, long waist length black hair & unique smokey-grey eyes. Meaning I look like my Mom but the eyes were my own. I was 14 when Rita, Tanya's Mom married my Dad & we got along pretty good. As for Tanya, a typical spoilt rich brat, she was about my height with Reddish-Brown hair & blue-green eyes. She was only 2 months older than me & she never lets me forget it. My brother Jamaal became infatuated with her within a few days. Not only Jamaal but also many boys she had managed to wrap around her little finger. She managed to manipulate most of the kids since junior & upper high school against me. Even though I wasn't exactly popular or anything just a small group of friends. My 2 childhood friends, Chloe Jung, she is half Korean & Justin Hastings were immune to her plastic charm. Once I turned 18 an incident happened which caused me to lose Justin. An incident in which I was a victim but with Tanya's manipulation she made me the villain. No one believed me not even my parents & Chloe without evidence that is. So during college I had reverted my name to my mother's maiden name, Faaris. She was half Persian & Greek, Rita suggested this. That is for later as for my present situation well, like I said that I was outnumbered. I remember despite my woozy state I could hear Tanya's taunts about me being teacher's pet, slut, etc. They started pushing random buttons then whoosh, the door shuts automatically. The time-machine I was shoved into began to make loud noises & shaking. Then everything started to blur & shake, loud beeping sounds. Suddenly about an hour or so the machine crashed not sure where but all I could think about was that I had to get out. Despite being damaged I managed to push open the door after pushing twice then, splash. I had landed in the water, disoriented, soon I hear some voices & footsteps coming near me.

Deep voice: "Stand back, all of you, let her breath."(Strong arms cradles me closer to a warm body)"Quick get my brother Zeus, are you alright, can you hear me?"

Woman's voice: "She looks really young but what on earth is that contraption she came with. Jericho, don't touch it. Ugh!"

Crash! Rumble!

Man's voice: "You do know that he won't listen to us besides Zeus. Hey, not again. By the way I believe that she could be a mortal, she sure is pretty. Don't you think, Hades?"

Slowly opening my eyes, blinking twice, I see a man with long black hair, tanned slightly muscular body & bright blue eyes. Wait, is it my imagination or are they really glowing. He had a soft smile which caused my cheeks to heat up a bit.

Hades: "Well, she just has a few bruises no broken bones, luckily."

Deep voice: "Who are you, stranger? Never seen your kind here."

A man with shaggy mane of brown hair, he was also muscular with sea-green eyes. Scowls as the blond man questions me, a tall woman was with him. She had baby blue eyes & auburn hair. She stared at me like I was an insignificant insect.

Man: "Don't you think that it's a bit early to ask her questions, Zeus? She is hardly in a condition for giving us any answers."

Woman: "Don't use that tone on your King, Poseidon. Besides all we know that she could be a spy sent by our enemies."

Hades: "Hera, you may be his consort but you are still our baby sister. True, that she is a stranger but at least let her recover first."

While they were bickering with each other I noticed that the people were wearing ancient Greek clothes. Also the people near me had familiar names of the 'Greek mythology's God's & Goddesses names'. There was Demetria, Athena, Hestia & Ares were there too. I cough a bit which did catch their attention. Oh boy, awkward. Zeus was looking really intimidating by crossing his arms across his broad chest. The brunette woman standing near Hades gave me an encouraging smile.

Demetria: "Hello, little one, please excuse my younger siblings here. I'm Demetria, this is Hades & Poseidon. Our other sister, Hestia. Of course these two are Hera & Zeus."

Poseidon:(Cuts in eagerly)"We welcome you to Olympia, our home. So, who might you be, my dear?"

I blush as he winks at me, Hades who was still holding me, rolls his eyes at his brother flirting with me. Yet I could see his smile, with fondness in his eyes. The people surrounding us were looking at me, waiting.

Sofia:(Clears my throat)"Oh, hello, I'm pleased to meet you & I apologize for barging in like this."(Everyone chuckles beside Zeus & Hera)"And my name is Sofia Faaris & I'm from America."

Poseidon:(Slightly Dazed) "Sofia, wow, such an enchanting name."

Hades: "So, Sofia from America, can you stand up? You only have few bruises, I just need to confirm something."

Slowly with Hades's help I try to stand up when suddenly my left foot twists. I yelp losing my balance then another pair of arms holds me.

Poseidon:(Chuckling)"Whoa there, easy, pretty girl. I admit that I'm handsome yet I didn't expect you to fall for me."

Demetria:(Smacks his arm)"Very funny, brother, Hades, I think she twisted her foot."

I wince as Hades examines my foot, he gently probes like a professional doctor.

Hades:(Grimacing)"You are right, it's a sprain. We better take her inside so I can tend to it & get some clothes for her."

With Poseidon carrying me inside the building I couldn't help but admire the surroundings around me. I pinched myself to see if this was a dream or that I had hit my head or something. Ouch, pinched too hard, it was real, what with my foot hurting & everything. Soon I was taken care of, first I was given a warm bath, my bruises were tended to & then I was wearing a dress of ancient Greek for women. It was made of soft silk, reaching near my calves, a beautiful colour of mauve. It made me feel like a princess, no doubt.

Sofia's POV

My long hair was brushed by Hestia who kept fussing over it. Demetria was adjusting the cushions around me especially under my foot. Hades did a good job on it even though I couldn't help blushing as he kept touching my skin. I can't explain it but everytime he does this strange tingling sensation zips through me. As for Poseidon, well his sisters had to push him out because he kept hovering over me. Jeez, it was overwhelming. Then a servant places a bowl of fruits filled with different varieties. I cock my head in question the servant smiles sheepishly.

Servant: "My lord, Poseidon, sent these for you. Since we do not know which ones you prefer so to speak."

Demetria: "That brother of mine, its not like everyday he gets to woo a pretty girl. You can leave, boy."

The boy bows while retreats I smile softly at him which causes the boy to stumble a bit blushing before running off.

Demetria:(Coughs lightly)"Well, it seems not only a few men but even my sister seems smitten by you on your first day. Does this happen to you always?"

At that I simply shook my head, Hestia was staring at me her hazel eyes gleaming.

Hestia: "I can't help it, her hair is soft like silk & her eyes. They are unique almost like smoked mirrors. I always thought our brother, Hades's eyes were different."

Demetria:(Waves her hand)"If you say so, we should head over to Zeus now. In the meantime you should rest, little one. If you need anything just pull the rope near you. Let's go, sister."

Hestia waves as they leave, jeez I wonder was she a lesbian? Sighing, I try to relax despite being in a new place in another time & century. I pretty much figured that part out though, which means that the time-machine works. I was eating some fruits trying to analyze my current situation. Then I began to feel this odd sensation of being watched. A creepy chuckle made me jolt over to see a guy, who was leaning against the wall. He seems about my height, he had long dark hair, smooth skin yet his demeanor was off.

Stranger: "So, you are the one who has caused quite a stir in one day."(He comes closer, eyeing me from head to toe)"The name is Jericho, the King's main man. Hmm, you are pretty for a petty human who has landed here in that strange contraption."

I look about me because I did not like his presence, my throat was closing up. Before I could reach the rope he caught my hands in his, pulling them over my head, ugh. I gasp as he was practically on top of me, straddling my body. His hot breath was near my face & I was about to have a panic attack.

Jericho:(Sneers)"You can easily fool them with your innocence act but not me, you bitch. I know your type, once I get through with you."(I screamed as he rips off my dress)"Hold still & let me enjoy myself."

I try to wriggle myself free then he grips my chin, I cringe as he buries his face in my neck. Then I kneed him hard where his sun won't shine. He grunts next thing I feel a sting on my jaw where he hit me hard. Falling off the bed I try to scramble away despite my injured foot.

Jericho: "You, filthy wench, I shall make you pay."

I screamed as he stomps on my injured foot, he grabbed my hair & slaps me again. He pins me down again, his hands were around my throat. I couldn't breathe as I try to fight back, choking, I feel my eyes rolling back, almost giving up. A few minutes later I hear garbled loud voices. Gasping, I look about me, seeing Jericho against the wall. Panicking, I curl up in a ball, rocking back & forth. I could hear another voice of the man arguing with Jericho. A few people have gathered about but I was too afraid to even look. I flinch as a warm hand touches my shoulder. My eyes widened as I see that it was Zeus, his expression seem different than earlier.

Zeus: "Don't be afraid, little one, I apologize for my foster brother's behavior."

Jericho: "Stay away from that witch, Zeus. No telling what type of black magic she can use. She lured me with her black magic, an enchantress...!"

SMACK! The sound startles me, I peek discreetly through my hair. He was holding his jaw, his face was livid with hatred & anger as he glares at Demetria. Then they began arguing in their language, I was still trembling by Jericho's assault. Then Hades walks in, his eyes widen in shock as he comes closer to me. His glowing blue eyes became even brighter as Zeus spoke to him in Greek. As if telling him about what happened to me & sure enough as he turned to glare at Jericho who visibly flinched. I almost squeal as Zeus's muscular arms lifts me in bridal style. I blush furiously letting my hair hide my face. Someone places a cloth around my torn dress as Hades tends to my foot again. It had turned into an ugly purplish bruise because that psycho had stepped on it. I could hear Poseidon & Demetria arguing a little distance away with Hera. Hestia tried to feed me some kind of a medicine, it had an unpleasant smell making my nose wrinkle. Then a soft chuckle alarms me as I feel warm fingers brush my cheek, pulling my hair back. I gape staring into his blue eyes filled with mischief, Zeus. I thought that he had left, he brought the medicine near my lips.

Zeus: "Drink this, little one, you will get better soon."

Then I look at Hades who was looking at me endearingly, so in a daze I swallow the bitter medicine hoping not to gag, yuck. Before I knew I felt weightless just as my eyes closed to sleep. I managed to recover after a week, Poseidon & Hestia kept me company. Hades comes to check my foot which was gradually healing. He would insist that I should walk which I did as he stayed with me. He kept asking me about the time-machine, like an adorable science geek he would listen earnestly. As for being interrogated by them, well I wasn't used to the attention yet I face the Greeks. But I felt comfortable what with Hades, Demetria, Poseidon & Hestia being there. Hera looking down her nose at me as I narrated them about my world to them. Zeus asked me some questions about the 21st century. Of course not forgetting about Jericho being there who kept glaring at me. Like mine his bruise had also pretty much healed. It took me some time to adjust to their ways, Hades & Demetria were helpful. Poseidon was charming & flirting with me which sometimes amuses me. Hestia was sweet, Hera as usual treated me as an inferior being. I also met Aphrodite of course, Aries, Athena, Apollo & many more popular ones. I was still a bit uneasy being in the presence of Zeus, I even though he was the younger brother but most intimidating. Plus he was every girls dream hunk, he was tall like his brothers but more muscular. He had long blond hair, tanned muscular build & striking blue eyes. He was also arrogant & full of himself at times. If my stepsister, Tanya were here no doubt that she would've been drooling all over him by now. Ugh! I stayed there for about 2 years or so, not for enjoyment though just enough time to fix the time-machine. Believe it or not but Hades also helped me, he examined each & everything with a twinkle in his eyes. I laugh enjoying his curiosity & patiently answered his every questions. Hades was a quick learner. He was as tall as Zeus but slightly muscular, dusky skin & brilliant mind also he is handsome. Poseidon loves the ocean what being the God of the seas. He lavished me with many exotic gifts to woo me. But I know that I'm not upto his standards. He is sexy, with brown hair, sea-green eyes & a charming personality to boot. But he is an immortal, they all are. It broke my heart when as gently as possible I had rejected his proposal. Even though I told him that we can remain friends which I could tell this wasn't what he had in mind. Yet staying there I also discovered about their upcoming war with the Titans. Meaning with Cronus & Rhea, their biological parents.

Sofia's POV

Jericho & Hera were the only ones who truly haven't accepted me, the others were civil with me but those two were superficial. Hera as always belittles me every chance she gets as for Jericho he assaulted me twice. The first time I managed to fight back with Poseidon's interference. The second I wasn't lucky, Hades & Poseidon were elsewhere doing their tasks as well as their sisters too. Demetria was like a mother figure to me, she told me all those horrid days they went through. Of course about their awful parents, especially about being swallowed by Cronus, ugh! To think Hades was younger than Demetria, yet he was the one who took care of them. I don't know what intentions Rhea had to hide Zeus even though in the end he had rescued them. Therefore, Cronus had declared war on them with Rhea still by his side. Talk about two-faced b***h! I already know that Hades & his siblings eventually defeat the Titans yet I zipped my lips. How exactly? I was vague on the details. Hestia kind of pampers me like a doll, giving fancy yet beautiful comfy clothes. Elegant hairdos & taught me how to do natural makeup without being too gaudy. Hades spends time with by either fixing the time-machine. Or being in the library, he taught me basic Greek & stuff. He was like a handsome nerd with fascinating blue eyes.*The way his eyes glows even brighter seeing an unknown gadgets of the machine. How he narrates the stories of old stories or whenever I tell him about 21st century. I would blush red whenever he catches me staring at him. But instead of teasing or reprimanding me he would smile softly then pats my head. He was still protective of his siblings & he was disappointed at me for rejecting his brother, Poseidon. Once I explained him the reason why I did, he was speechless. Sighing, I remember when suddenly I started crying about what I did. Hades hugged me to his tall body, I was practically a dwarf size though. Yet I felt at home once he did, he understood my dilemma. As for Zeus, jeez, I feel extremely flustered whenever come face to face. I would either start stuttering a bit as his blue eyes gleam with mischief. Even his kind of sexy smirk would make my knees wobbly. Poseidon, well, I do feel guilty for rejecting him, but he is an immortal. He never misbehaved with but treated me like a princess. He would stumble with his words everytime I smiled at him. He would blush a bit by giving me gifts. He was like a big goofball, an adorable one. I really did like him but we weren't meant to be. I was jostled to my senses when I was pushed harshly on the ground. Before I could recover a strong scrawny hand grips my neck which knocked the wind out of me.

Creepy voice:(Sneers)"So, bi*ch, finally showed your true colors eh? Pretending to lead Poseidon at the altar then you drop him. I knew that you were nothing but a pretentious hussy."

I tried to break free from his grasp but as usual I was helpless. I know that he was still sore about when he tried to paw me, so I managed to hit him where the sun can't shine.
