Today is May 8th, 1885 and this is the day where my whole life flips upside down right in front of my eyes. Let me tell you what happened... Well my family is trying to kill the love of my life including me. And the love of my life is trying to kill them in order to protect me. You see it's pretty complicated to explain right now. So let's go back to 5 weeks ago.

My name is Tanaka Mizuki, but my family calls me Mizuki Chan. My family and I live in a small hut in Shikoku, Japan. I live with my eldest brother, Tanaka Itsuki, my mother, Tanaka Daitan, and my father, Tanaka Daisuke. Fun fact about my family is that we come from a long line of hunters. Like hunting deers and stuff like that. I'm the only one in my small family who isn't in the family business. My parents say I'm too young, but I think I'm old enough. I mean I'm only 17, I'm going to be turning 18 in 5 weeks. Well now that I think about I might need to wait till I'm 18...huh? Suki entered the family business right on his 18th birthday. So, I guess it makes sense why I need to wait. Now all I have to do is live it up till 5 weeks hit.

Today is March 7th, and today I am going to finally meet up with my bestfriend, Sonaku Rai.

The last time I seen Rai Chan was 2 years ago. Her family was the cause of our separation. Unfortunately they arranged a marriage between her and some noble rich man abroad. I never met the guy, but today that is going to change. Right now I am in a carriage heading to the train station. "Are we almost there yet senior." I asked my chauffeur. "Actually we have just arrived young mistress." he responded. I began to bult for the train station entrance. "Do be careful young mistress!" he shouts. Finally I lay my eyes on the person I've been waiting to see. she seemed different, but yet the same. Her eyes were still golden brown and her skin was still smooth looking. Her hair was still bouncy and black. Her body is still slim and tiny, yet her skin is more pale. So, I hurried to her side. "Are you okay Rai Chan!? You seem pale... have you been eating properly!?" I ask anxiously. She chuckles and then gives me a chilling hug. "I am fine Zuki! No need to worry." she assures me. "Well this is my husband Benitt James." I look and start to observe Benitt for a while. He's pretty handsome I may say. His eyes are a reddish brown. His hair is light curly blonde and his figure is very muscular. And yet his skin is as snow white as Rai Chan. "And Benitt this is Tanaka Mizuki." she continues. James hands out his hand as I hesitate to shake it. "It's very nice to meet you Ms. Mizuki!" he says. "Ahh! Nice to meet you too senior!" I reply. James gives me a slight frown. "Please call me Benitt or you'll make me feel old." he informs me. "I apologize...uh...Benitt...well follow me I'm pretty sure you guys are tired." I say. We began to walk quietly to the carriage. It's kind of strange to me. Rai Chan use to always cling on to me, but she's resistant. It's like we're close, yet so far apart. I wonder why...

A couple of minutes have passed, and we finally arrive at my families hut. "Welcome Rai! It's been awhile since we last seen each other." greets my mother. Rai Chan gives my mother a warm smile, exposing her pearly white teeth. But that's very odd of her to do so. "Hello Aunt Daitan!" she says. My mother gives Rai Chan a confuse stare. I pretty much have a clue of why she would be confused. Rai Chan has always greeted us with a warm hug, but my mother got a warm smile. "Um...Well this must be the handsome husband of yours." my mother claims. "Indeed I am! My name is Benitt James, nice to meet you Mrs. Tanaka." James says eagerly. "Likewise! Well do come in and have some tea." my mother politely order. Everyone begins to walk in. "Mother, where is father and Itsuki?" I ask. Mother gives me a frighten look as if I said something I shouldn't. For some strange reason mother have been on guard ever since she seen Rai Chan. "Rai Chan, would you like to go upstairs and have a little chat?" I ask. "NO!...No, our guest needs to eat dinner first Mizuki." she states. What in the world is going on with my mother!? She's getting more and more hostile to Rai Chan and James. What is her deal? "Okay? Rai Chan and Ja--- Benitt follow me." I order. As we are walking I noticed James whispering something to Rai Chan. I wonder what it is? Probably about my mother's behavior. "Mizuki, go upstairs and get me the napkins in the hallway closet" she demands. I start to head up the stairs than "BOOM!" I freeze at the top of the stairs. Then I ran downstairs. Please don't be nothing bad! Please be a broken plate or cup! I reach to where Rai Chan is and I quickly fell to my knees. "NO!"
