Puppet Master
Chapter 1
*It was a cold day, Zhao held her hand out, a translucent butterfly on the top of her hand, it was delicate but beautiful, just like her.*
Zhao-Jing
(Zhao looked at the moon which was glowing, a smile across her face) Isn’t it beautiful? (she said to Helen-Ci)
Helen-Ci
(He smiled back at her) I wouldn’t know… I have the most beautiful thing in-front of me..
Zhao-Jing
(She blushed slightly) Well, it would be amazing to get closer to it… (her eyes shined)
Helen-Ci
(He looked at her) Let’s do it. (He says, he starts running forward)
Zhao-Jing
(She didn’t have time to respond or ask what he was talking about, but she ran with him)
Helen-Ci
(he purposefully slowed down)
Zhao-Jing
(she was running so fast that she was going to fall but jumped just in time)
Zhao-Jing
(she knew she was going to fall, closing her eyes, afraid)
Zhao-Jing
(she felt strong arms wrap around her waist, opening her eyes to see Helen-Ci)
Helen-Ci
(when they got on the ground, he looked at her) you aren’t hurt, are you?
Zhao-Jing
(She looked at him, before she could even say anything she pulled him into a hug)
*Before either one of them could speak, the blood moon was already out*
Helen-Ci
(he looked up, knowing the war was in the near future, and he had to let go of her)
Chapter 2
*Time skip three days. Helen-Ci and Zhao-Jing were forced to part ways after the kingdom went to war*
Helen-Ci
(He felt horrible, but he had to accept the fact that they were forced to break apart. He knew he couldn't go back)
Zhao-Jing
(She looked back, tears evident on her face, she was very hurt that he was leaving with no explanation. All he said to her was ‘This is for your own good’ which was obviously false, the only way she could ever be safe was with him.)
*We head to Helen-Ci pov*
Helen-Ci
(he was standing on the ledge, looking down at the soldiers)
Helen-Ci
(he heads into a mansion, still frustrated)
Helen-Ci
(he saw a small purple and white fox) Daji, I don't have time for this.
Daji
You’re no fun. What’s got you in a bad mood?
Helen-Ci
None of your business. And get off the couch!
Chapter 3
*This Episode Is based on Zhuang Zhao’s POV. He is a friend of Zhao-Jing and her guard*
Zhuang Zhao
(He is standing in the snow, he was still angry that his master told him he needed to calm down, he held his hand out to a butterfly)
Zhuang Zhao
(All of a sudden, he heard sobs in the forest, he knew that cry… it had to be Zhao)
Zhuang Zhao
(He got on his horse and started looking for her) Zhao? (he said after he finally reached her, she was knee-deep in the snow crying her heart out) Zhao, are you hurt?
Zhao-Jing
(she quickly wiped her tears away and shook her head) no, I'm not…
Zhuang Zhao
(He looked worried for her but didn't want to push it. After all, she is going through something. He needed to find out) what happened?
Zhao-Jing
Helen-Ci left me… he said it would be better for both of us… (she started to cry again)
Zhuang Zhao
(he patted her on the shoulder) It’s okay…. I knew he was a selfish liar the second I met him… don't cry over him, Zhao. It’s not worth it.
Zhuang Zhao
(His Mind: This is perfect… I finally have a chance!)
