“Help!!” “NO STAY AWAY!!” she panicked and then woke up relieved and hugged her pillow.

“It’s okay Ai Xiayu” she grabbed a water bottle beside her and then hydrated herself. She then opened the curtains and then noticed that she was in another world.

“Wait where am I , I wasn’t here yesterday?!” she grew shocked and then noticed that even her bed was not how she expected it to look like. She took several steps back and then started to feel afraid and then the door was unlocked and she grew anxious and grabbed her slipper and then attempted to throw it once they enter the room.

“Stay back you-!” she noticed a handsome stranger gazing into her eyes and then rapidly threw her slipper next to the bed.

“Geez woman that could have hurt my precious face if you threw it!” he forced her against a wall and her heart raced. He then noticed a rare scent from her body.

“You smell like blossoms” he spoke and then she blushed in embarrassment and then pushed him aside.

“Listen here you creep you think you can do this to me just because you’re a guy and-!“ she suddenly stopped when she noticed a crest on his jacket and then covered her mouth. He gave her a devious stare and she was startled.

“I am the crown prince of this beloved kingdom, Zhen Li Xiao scum like you don’t have the audacity to oppose me” he gazed at her and then she fidgeted with her hair and then he commanded.

“Kneel” he looked at her with conceit and she was perplexed.

“Huh?” she scratched her head in confusion.

“Kneel before me woman!” he yelled and then she immediately knelt down and looked at the ground.

“Yes.. your highness” she was clearly doing this against her will, Li walked closer and then she remained in that state.

“I really like obedient women” he mentioned and she clenched her first and felt vulnerable. She then got up and then ran away and realised that she was in a palace for certain but she had no idea where she was going and then there were servants watching her and she only decided to run without any introductions.

“Yan Xiaoyu!” someone called and then Ai continued to find the exit but then she had heard the name ‘Yan Xiaoyu’ several times and then stopped abruptly.

“That’s not my name it’s Ai Xiaoyu they only got the surname right” she muttered to herself and then turned around but this time a woman stood there and she was fair and elegant.

“What a commotion you’ve caused you’ve been called and this is how you react?” Ai gazed at her and she was a princess and she had luxurious,long hair and lips that are as red as sweet cherries and then she tried to inform her about her experience with moving there.

“You’ve got to help me I’ve been transported here by unknown magic and now I can’t go home!” she begged and then the woman laughed at her and Ai grew defensive.

“Listen Yan Xiayu you can’t be the one to win Li Xiao’s heart only I can!” she threatened and Ai smirked and decided to orchestrate a performance to irritate her instead of acting.

“I am Princess Lian Ling and I’m the most beautiful woman out there!” she pointed at Ai and then showed her a mirror and Ai was dumbfounded and noticed that her appearance was the same except her hair which was far longer and also an outfit fit for a princess except she did not realise whilst she was running.

“You see you are no match to me” Lian told her and then Ai started her plan and suddenly Li Xiao was there behind them. Ai walked towards Lian and giggled and that infuriated her.

“Oh dear Lian Ling such a shame that he appears on my bed and not yours and not only that but he belongs entirely to me” she walked on and then Lian reacted back.

“As if that could be true hmph!” she walked away in her heels quickly to her chamber and then Li Xiao followed Ai and then cornered her again.

“Hey what’s the big idea?!” she questioned him and he was fuming and then she told him that it was her technique to annoy Lian and then he did not show her any mercy and harshly took her hand and threw her on the bed.

“All you women are the same this is what you want right how shameless?!”

he took off his jacket and then attempted to undress Ai, but then Ai had reached her limit and then slapped him across the face and was free after battling through his arms. He grew fierce and grasped her arms tightly and she was in pain.

“You dare raise a hand on me?!” he fired back at her.

“You dare to assume my intentions and defy us women?!” she became defensive and that made him raise an eyebrow at her nerve and then she ran away with tears in her eyes and then he noticed that she was different to other women he knew.

“Interesting...” he rubbed his chin

Lian looked at the two of them and smirked and then there were guards outside the palace and they did not allow Ai to leave.

“Out of my way I must leave!” she bowed formally hoping that they would be moved by her actions but to her great disappointment she had no luck.

“We cannot let you leave your my lady you are the future bride of our master”

Ai was devastated and Lian took a glass of water and then after hearing about the last part she immediately choked.

“Princess what’s wrong?!” one guard ran to her assistance whilst the other remained to block Ai from leaving and then Lian smashed the glass on the ground.

“That’s enough I’m fine!” she admitted and then Ai condescended at her and then another woman entered and she was a helper of Lian Ai knew immediately after she had tended Lian.

“Yan Xiaoyu how could you stoop to this level?!” she raised an arm at Ai and then she fell onto the ground and then her cheek started to burn.

“Jun Yue as usual you know exactly how to fulfill my goals” Lian and Jun walked towards a powerless Ai and wanted to throw her in prison and then Lian forcefully took Ai’s hand and Ai started to collapse.

“Damn.. I’m not used to his body .. so weak..” she told herself and then tried to get up to fight against her but then Lian raised an arm against her and once again her cheek had ached and then she could not fight against them. Lian was so close to taking her with her but her plan had backfired immediately. She immediately released and Ai and then she was caught from falling safely.

“...Prince.... Li Xiao..?” she hesitated.

“That’s Prince Zhen Li Xiao to you how dare you treat my wife like this?! Also same to you as well you petty servant” he gazed at Jun and Lian and then took Ai in his arms. Li Xiao looked at Ai with slight sympathy in his eyes and decided to treat her wounds and then decided to give a warning to Lian and Jun.

“If I catch you doing such things in the future you will not be welcome here” he gave a demonic glare and then Lian and Jun knelt down.

“Yes .. your highness..” they both said in unison. He left with Ai and then Jun wanted to give up but Lian would not ever accept defeat.

“Tch..! Yan Xiaoyu!” she made a fist and was on the verge of screaming. Meanwhile in Li Xiao’s chamber Ai rested there and he decided to place a cold compress against her cheek.

“Ah..” she sighed in pain and he gently stroked her head to allow her to sleep comfortably.

“She’s so much cuter when she’s quiet too bad she’s always a devil when she’s awake” he thought to himself and then she started to speak in her sleep.

“Zhen..” she mentioned and then he started to blush and then she finished her small sentence.

“Bai, Zhenbai I miss you..” she started to cry and then Li Xiao was slightly infuriated.

“Hey who is Zhenbai??!!” he shaked her up and down whilst forgetting that she required rest and she woke up.

“You.... you.. YOU-!” she reacted in horror and then he covered her mouth and pleaded her to be quiet.

“Shut up do you want us to get caught?!” he warned and she gently slapped his arm away from her and demanded something from him without any hesitation.

“I want to go home!” he laughed at her hysterically and she blushed in frustration.

“This IS your home” he informed her and then she nodded in instant denial and wept uncontrollably and every time moved his arm away from her.

“ I want to see my Zhenbai so much” she told him and held her heart and then knew that he had to be someone important to her and then he decided to gently embrace her.

“I cannot bear to see you cry so please use me as your pillow” he calmly spoke and she was at ease after being told that and this time she trusted his words but simultaneously Li Xiao was envious of Zhenbai and wanted to learn more about them, Ai was then asleep and then Li Xiao left for the palace gardens where he met a mysterious man.

“I want you to find out more information of a man named Zhenbai and how he is related to my wife” Li Xiao commanded

“Consider it done your majesty” he replied and Li Xiao smirked.

“Yan Xioyu you are mine and I will not share you with anyone let alone Zhenbai” he declared to himself.

“Zhenbai” Ai chanted several times and sighed whilst eating her dinner and then Li Xiao grasped her neck tightly.

“Aughhh!” she cried and Lian and Jun giggled.

“Finally this wretch gets what she deserves” Lian was ecstatic and thought to herself.

“Don’t you dare mention anyone but me!” he continued to reprimand her and finally released her.

“Oh no Yan Xiaoyu allow me to remind you of your true place” she rolled her sleeves and then saw an evil glare given to her by Li Xiao and then immediately excused herself and grabbed Jun with her. Ai felt weak and started to cry and then Li Xiao noticed an innocent look on her face and then blushed.

“No I can’t be seduced by this woman” he thought to himself and then grabbed her arm tightly to distract himself but then she continued to bear it and did not try to stop it and that made him feel guilty.

“Wait why is she not resisting me?!” he thought to himself and she continued sobbing.

“Zhenbai .. no..” she was startled and run away and then Li Xiao was still furious after hearing Zhenbai’s name and followed her.

“Zhenbai ZHENBAI!!” she screamed suddenly and then Li Xiao wondered where he went and then noticed Ai untie her hair and her long flow hair was revealed before his eyes and she was beautiful and wished upon the stars.

“I miss you it’s been too long and now I’m worried about you” she spoke and then Li Xiao extended his arm and then Ai noticed an act of kindness from him and then decided to wipe her tears and then Li Xiao gave her a handkerchief and then smiled at her and her heart warmed up.

“I...I don’t need your help” she lied to him and he immediately responded with laughter. Ai was startled.

“How can that possibly be true? You’re nothing without me” he spoke confidently and she had been enraged but was also broken to bits due to having no news about Zhenbai or anyone from her world. Li Xiao then noticed several tears coming from

her eyes and then he embraced her and she tried to get out of it but he held on to her.

“Hey.. you..” she started to blush and then so did he but she felt vulnerable.

“Shh let me stay like this longer” he slowly stroked her hair

Someone then watched them from afar and it was Lian.

“Tch. I’ll take my revenge on you Yan Xiaoyu” she clenched fist and then walked away without a trace. Mean while Li Xiao released Ai and then he told her something surprising.

“By the way your neck and arm seems to be healing really fast” he winked whilst talking and then Ai was perplexed and then noticed her neck and arm have bandages.

“How... WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!” she questioned him and pointed at him and then as he chuckled she noticed that it was him who helped her.

“You..why.. for me?” she asked him and then he flipped his hair to add to his charm.

“Who knows” he replied and was then taking his leave.

“One more thing before I go” he stopped

“Yes?” Ai wondered.

“You’re different from other women I know and I’m sorry for my misbehaving” he told her with his back slightly turned and also felt as though he was making a mistake by apologising as she was the first person he ever did this for.

“Mhhm it’s.. fine” she smiled and her warm smile made his day as he left the balcony whilst Ai looked at the stars once again and then made a prayer.

“Perhaps he was trying to cheer me up and I’m grateful for that but either way my only hope right now is Zhenbai”

Ai had gone to the chamber that she and Li Xiao shares and then noticed he was asleep and then she gently slept beside him with a pillow between them, and the she decided that she would escape the next day.
