Joanne Lin, is an ordinary girl but smart. She lived with her aunt's family since her parents passed away from the accident five years ago . Her aunt has a son called Gary who is 4 years above Joanne. They always played together since they're little. He treated Joanne like his own biological sister. He really loved her, support her,protected her. He is the best brother for Joanne .

After graduated from high school, Joanne got a scholarship for studied hotel management at another city. So she moved to university 's dorm. But her aunt always had her to called back every week. And she had to go back every holiday.

First year at college, she knew some friends and they then became goodfriends.

In the second semester , Joanne has a part time job at a music store. She worked every weekend. Saturday dan Sunday. From 11-7.

Joanne wants to be able to be independent even though her aunt said her parents left enough wealth for her. But she wants to work to get a little extra income, she doesn't want to use all her inheritance money or help from his aunt. She said by working, she can get life experience too.

But sometimes, she spends her time studying together with her friends or hanging around with them .

Joanne loved listening to music. She also liked to spend her time on her own bed watching her favorite band. She never think about anything else. She just wants to enjoy her college 's time.

But everything changed when she met Daniel.

Daniel is a business student in his third year. He has a good looking face, Dominant aura , a very ideal posture which is like a model. perfect and he also has a bad boy side. They said "Girl always likes bad boys" . Almost all the girls wanted to be his girlfriend. He is always surrounded by his admirers. Some people said that he almost changed his girlfriend every week. But some people said only Jessica is his favorite girl. Jessica is his classmate.

That day, Joanne just finished her class. She went to the cafeteria to meet her friend. But at the corridor, she bumped into someone . And all the books she held fell out. And when she said sorry , she knew that the person she bumped to was Daniel.

After collecting all her books, she quickly walked away without looking back. She didn't want to have any trouble with him or his admirer. She heard that one of his girls, named Jessica is a jealous person who dared to do anything to any girl who tries to approach Daniel.

Joanne went to the cafeteria and sat beside her best friend Julia, after finishing their lunch .They went together for shopping. Both of them liked to spent their time shopping together or listening or sharing their opinions about music. That's why, both of them worked at the music store. They had the same hobby. Julia is a cheerful girl. They weren't roommates. But they're closed. Beside Julia, they also have Jake, Billy and Lisa in their group .Lisa is Joanne's roommate. But she's not as close as Julia to Joanne. Because Lisa already had a boyfriend, so sometimes she rather spent her time with her boyfriend.

For things like shopping, Jake and Billy were not really into it.

Daniel Smith is a business student. He is in his third year. He is smart, dominant, handsome , powerful and very popular too at collage. Every time he came, He always be surrounded by girls.

He's almost finished his study and will graduate soon.

The first time he met Joanne was that day when he bumped into her at the corridor. He thought Joanne would be like the other girls who usually try to find his attention but he was wrong.

He never thought that Joanne only said "sorry" and then walked away without looking back.

From that day, he tried to find every information about her, and when he knew that her name was Joanne Lin, he felt that he was familiar with that name. He tried to remember it. Where and when he heard that name.

After reading more information, he remembered that one month ago, his friend, Gary, once called him and said that his little sister studied at the same university as him. And Gary asked him if someday When his sister needed help, he wanted Daniel to help her, but because of Daniel's busy schedule, he forgot it at all. Now, he knows that, that girl is Joanne, Gary's sister.

He never thought that Gary had a cute sister. Gary and Daniel are best friends even though Gary is older than him. Their parents are friends. They used to live in the same neighborhood . But when Daniel was ten, his family moved to this city and built a powerful company. But they still contact each other.

Now, Smith Company is the biggest and most powerful company. They have some hotels, restaurants, and other businesses under the Smith flag.

His father wants him to go aboard to complete his study and return here to take over his company.

He smiled when he thought about Joanne.

" interesting ".

A few days later, he saw her again at the cafeteria. She was laughing when her friend told her something funny. She looked so beautiful.

Daniel saw her drinking a bottle of coke, then he woke up to buy a glass of juice and then he took that to Joanne.

" Drinking coke is not good for your health " . Daniel said while putting that juice in front of her, then returned to his place.

Joanne looked confused and wanted to say something. But Daniel was already returned to his place.

Lisa was also shocked and she asked Joanne when she saw Joanne's face.

" did you know him well? , Why did he give you this ?".

Joanne only can shake her head.

"No..and I didn't know too, why and what the meaning of this was."

" come on , let's go, just ignore it " . Joanne said to Lisa and dragged Lisa out of the cafeteria.

When Daniel saw that Joanne left without taking that Juice, his face became darker . This was the first time, a girl rejected something that he gave. Nobody dared to do this to him.

This is the first time he bought something for a girl . Usually , girls always give things to him.

Then a smile appeared on his face, he thought that " this will be more interesting ".

This morning, Gary called Joanne and said that he had a meeting in this city and he wanted to meet Joanne and have dinner together. After hearing that, Joanne felt really excited. She missed her brother so much.

Gary had been busy in the last couple months, he didn't have time to call Joanne. Now, he had something to do here, so he wanted to see and had dinner with Joanne. Gary also wanted to introduce his friend to Joanne. So Gary also called Daniel to come to dinner with him. It will be a surprise for Joanne.

After the classes ended , Joanne rushed back to her room. She took a shower. After changing, she took her bag and came out. She planned to stop by the shop where her aunt's favorite food is sold. She wants to give it to her aunt through Gary.

After leaving the store, she hailed a taxi to the restaurant where they had an appointment.

Arriving at the restaurant, Joanne said to the waiter that she had an appointment under Gary's name.

Then the waitress showed her the way to a private room. It's an expensive restaurant. And they had several private rooms.

When the door opened, she saw Gary. Gary gave her a smile.

" hi little sis.." Gary stands up and gives her a hug.

" Gary, i missed you so much " . Joanne felt like she wanted to cry.

Then Gary asked Joanne to take a seat beside him.

" wait a minute, my friend will join us. I had already ordered your favorite food, like always ". Gary smiled as he pinched Joanne's cheek.

" ooo.. my little sister..".

Joanne frowned as she said " Gary, thank u.. you're always my dear brother. You always know what my favorite food is. By the way, how is Aunt and uncle? Ooh, I miss them so much. And i miss you too."

" they're fine, they missed you too. So this time holiday, you must return home".

Before she answered ...

The door opened, Daniel walked in. Joanne was surprised to see him.

" what are you doing here? " Joanne asked Daniel.

Gary looked at both of them.

" did you already know each other?"

" no brother" Joanne quickly answered it.

Daniel took a seat across them. But his eyes still staring at Joanne.

" no, i just knew her name a couple weeks ago".

" so, this is your sister.Joanne. I'd never known you had a sister. You never told me. "

" oh, actually she is my cousin. Her mother is my aunt, my mother's sister. So you never saw her when you went to our home."

Then, Gary told Joanne that Daniel is his best friend, like his little brother. They knew each other since they were little. Gary told Joanne that if she needed help , she could ask Daniel for help.

After dinner, Daniel drove Gary back to the hotel. He will return to his city tomorrow morning.

When Gary got out of the car, he asked Daniel to take Joanne back to her dorm.

Actually Joanne wanted to go home alone, but Gary does not agree because it's already late. Along the way,they both just remained silent.

" Why do you keep silent?" Daniel started to have a conversation.

" no, nothing". Joanne answered it then silent again.

Arriving at the gate, Joanne got out of the car and thanked him then walked into the dorm.
