A normal senior student at Anthenerio International High School and the president of the Book Club, Astrid is a kind and sweet also a talented child of Menezes family but timid girl who has a secret long time crush on the local basketball star Cloud Elliot. While she's been content just watching her crush play in the past. She herself realizes that she has to chase her dreams of being with him or she won't ever find her real happiness.

She doesn't know there is one thing could Cloud caught his attention to her.

°Alexandra Francisco°

Astrid's best friend since little and classmate, Alexa makes it her mission to get Astrid the boy of her dreams. Fearless and authoritative, she's the exact opposite of Astrid, and believes that if you want something or someone you should just go for it. She's also not someone who would shy away from overboard tactics to achieve her goals.

Alexa also happens to be the captain of the swimming club, where Astrid and Cloud are members of, so she also uses that leverage to push the two to each other.

Male Lead

°Cloud Elliot°

A senior student and a star player of the Anthenerio basketball team, Cloud is not only a gifted athlete who excels in basketball, swimming, tennis and badminton, but he's also an honor student. He's kind and stays out of trouble, and every girls adore him for those qualities..... not to mention his good-looking. Cloud Elliot is a man seems to have everything.

Yet because he's active in so many different things. Cloud hasn't found time to have a girlfriend. Even though he's smart, Cloud is a goof and a dense, naive idiot who misses even the least subtle hints when it comes to women.

Little known, he also a little bit bully...

°Rio Spencer°

Senior student and star player of of Anderson International High School, Rio Spencer is Cloud's lifelong basketball rival and best friend. Rio is a mysterious and quiet person who has quite a history with Cloud : Both of them are foreigners who transferred from England last years.

A self confessed egomaniacal super genius of the junior batch of Anthenerio, Lorraine is a deputy of Alexa's tiny army of three. Lorraine idolizes her senior, constantly making up plans for her to use in what Lorraine believes will lead to world domination.

°Claire McCain°

Best friend and classmate to Lorraine, Claire's an enthusiastic, ditzy, schizophrenic romantic-fanatic who is borderline mental. Her and Lorraine are always together everywhere they go. Also a hard dying fan of two popular star player of basketball, but she determined to give Astrid and Cloud their "romantic and happy ending". Fortunately for Astrid, Claire is more interested in romance in general, so Claire is on her side.... so far

°Heather Moon°

A hot girl Korean transfer student, except that she's a junior at Anthenerio, likes to run and very clumsy, often tripping and bumping into people. She's sexy and innocent, and unwittingly poses in a risqué manner, traits the boys go crazy, hence her popularity with the male constituency.

°Louie Simon°

Despite often being an unfortunate victim of Lorraine and Claire's shenanigans. Louie continues to tag along for the ride. A cynical bench warmer of the Anthenerio basketball team, he seems to have been taken under Cloud's wing as an understudy.

°Guenievere McGuire°

A wealthy, globe-trotting heiress from England, Gwendolyn traveled halfway around the world to find Cloud Elliot, whom she claims to be her boyfriend.

Stubborn and confident, her determination to achieve her goals includes a disregard for how others may think or feel about her behavior and actions.

°Ria Spencer°

Rio's younger sister and also a guardian, a boyish typical girl at her age of 12 she accomplished many awards. She has a special interest in her brother's social life and watches him from afar. She cares for her brother, although she doesn't admit it to him.

Prologue : The Man of Her Dreams

"Where are you going?"

"I just want to walk around here in hospital, dad." little boy said.

"No, stay here, you might get lost if you wandering here in hospital."

"But I'm bored!" he whined.

"Let him be dear. I know he knows the way how to come back here."

His father all could do is sigh, since his wife insist to let their son to walk inside the hospital.

"Okay, but don't took too far, okay?"

"Yes, dad." he says with a glee and run away to her mother's room.

The little boy wandering around inside the hospital.

"This hospital it's surely pretty big. So many patients in this floor." he said to his self while walking.

While he is walking, he saw a door...

"This is the only room in this hallway. It seems so special."

Out of curiosity, he walked toward to that door. He is wonder what is inside behind this door. He open and take a peep inside.

"Oh it was empty room, but it looks like a wide space inside of this."

He opens the door widely and he saw someone laying on the hospital bed with many apparatus beside of it.

"There's someone laying on the bed. But there's so many apparatus? Is his illness very bad?" curiosity drawn to his face as of what he sees now.

He walk toward to the bed and see who is laying. And he is little bit shock when he saw it was a little girl who is laying on the bed with a needles in her body.

"Wha? That's absurd to inject many needles to her little body!" worried runs through his face.

He is about to touch the little girl's hand when suddenly someone opens the door.

"Oh my! What are you doing here, little kid? You shouldn't been here." the nurse said as she walk quickly towards to the little girl.

"Is she okay?" the boy asked.

"For now yes. She's been sleeping for more than 2 months." the nurse answered.

"What?! 2 months? How she get eat and showered? And what kind of ill she have?"

"You are too young to understand. You will know if you are big enough to understand everything."

"Ugh~"

They turned their heads when they heard someone waking. The nurse was shock at the same time joy plastered in her face.

"Oh good Lord! You are awake. Wait here, I'm going to call the doctor and your mother." nurse's said out of glee and run away.

The little boy look at the little girl.

"W-where am I? M-mom?"

"What's your name, little buddy?" he asked with a joy of his voice.

"W-who are y-you?" the girl asked.

"I'm Cloud, you?"

"A-Astrid."

"Thank God!!! You're awake!!!"

Suddenly doctors and nurses are came to her room with her mother.

5:30 PM at Anthenerio International High School

When I was about to step out the gate of the school, suddenly someone grab my hand and drag me like a sack.

At Basketball Gym

"Alexa will you please slow down!" I said as I feel the dizziness in my head.

"We're almost there! We might missed him a chance." Alexa said while dragging me for pete sake!

What in the world she's thinking?! Dragging me and most of the students passing by in her way, almost fly away because of her hell run!

*SLAAAAAM*

"Good! They're still practicing!" She exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! It's Cloud Elliot! I totally forgot that they were playing soon!".

"The best player in the country! That's Cloud Elliot! He may only have a transferee from England a year ago, but he's already used to playing here!!!"

"KYAAAAAH!!! (♡0♡)" I was amazed while watching my crush practicing.

"A few moment ago, you were whining for being hurry." I heard her, but who cares, my crush is there.

"He looks so cute while he's playing." I said.

"She's not even listening to me." bleeeeh \=P.

~° Hi! I'm Astrid Menezes a senior student here at Anthenerio International High School and I am super deeply in love to our basketball star player, Cloud Elliot!!! (♡0♡). I really want to talk to him and meet him, but I'm too shy and it's not my manners or vocabulary of approaching first and that's my big problem to myself that's why I don't have any chances to meet him even talk to him. °^° °~

We are sitting on the audience's seat while watching his team practicing for upcoming varsity games.

"Looks like he put through on this coming event, huh." Alexa said while watching Cloud practicing with his teammate.

"Of course he is."

"Hey, I think he's finish, let's go, so I could introduce you to him." She said with glee and excitement.

And because of that, my eyes wide open like unbelievable, she really going through of this. She knows that Cloud is the man of my dreams but the heck!!! Introducing me to him?! Is not my thing!!! It's so embarrassing!!!

"No, Alexa." I pleaded her.

She just give me a grin smile and she called HIM!!!

"Hey! Cloud, come over here." She really called him!!!!

"Hey! Captain Alexa, what's up?" He greet her while walking towards on us.

OMG! OMG! What should I do?! Aha! I bow my head so that he won't see my face and to think that I am sleeping.

"I want to introduce you someone." Alexa said.

"Well, where?" He said with a joy of his voice.

"Here she is. Cloud I want to meet you my bestfriend, Astrid."

*AHOOO!! AHOOOO!!* (sfx of a crow what a lame 🤣)

"Uhm... I think she's sleeping." Cloud said. Wooooh that was close.

"What? Hey! Wake up! I know you are not asleep!" She said while she shaking my shoulder to wake me up, but heeeeell no way!!!

"Don't be, Captain. I think she's really tired."

"Anyway, I got to go, Captain. I have something to do." He added.

"Okay. I'm going to introduce her to you next time." Alexa said to him with a disappointment in her tone.

"Hahaha, it's fine, Captain. There are so many times to meet her."

"*sigh* Fine, go!"

"Say hi to Astrid for me." And he gone.

"You!" She exclaim at me.

"*yaaaawn* What?!" I asked her while pretending that I just woke up, hahahaha.

"You just throw your chance to meet him." She said then face-palm.

I just giggle at her.

"Come on, let's go home. It's getting late." She said and started to walk.

I stood up and followed her.

How Could Reach Out

Astrid's POV

"I just going to visit someone, alright?" she said when we stop at P.E. faculty.

"Ok, just hurry up."

Aalis na sana siya nang may biglang...

She's going right now when suddenly someone....

*BOOOOGSH!!! *

"Astrid!" I hear she called me.

"Mommy~ I don't want any more pancakessshhh." (@_@)

"S-Sorry."

Someone bumps into me (T_T) that's really hurt, huhuhu. I sit from laying on the floor because of the impact, ouch my butt hurts. I look to who bumped into me. It's a girl and to look at her, I guess she is junior high.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't looking on my way." she sincerely said to me.

"Ahahaha, okay lang, halika tulungan na kita."

"Ahahaha, no worries, it's okay, here lemme help you."*(^_^) *

I lend my hand to help her to stand. After she stand, she bowed to us and bid a goodbye while taking her leave.

"Thank you again! I gotta go! See you around, seniors." she said while not looking on her way, she's going to bump someone again. What a clumsy girl.

"(¯.¯;)" Alexa and I.

°Afternoon°

"So, did you bump to your loves Cloud." teasing me while she poking her elbow into my side. The heck?!?! It tickles me ∑(O_O;)

"N-No." she's crazy, this woman (¯—¯#), "Cloud my loves"? I'm really going to choke you Alexa.

"Oh saaaaad life, hahaha. But, anyway, there's so many days to introduce you to him." she said and she wink at me.

"Well, yeah, there's so many days to meet and know him, but I'm really shy (_ _;). He's so cute when he plays basketball but still I'm too shy to meet him." I said to her with a little depress on my voice 'cause daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!! I really want to meet him!!! (T^T)

"Well, it is your chance to meet him now!" she said then she strike hard my back. What the??? That's HURT!!!

But I was panic when I saw Cloud walking towards in our direction. OMG!!! OMG!!! What to do?!?! WHAT TO DO?!?!?!

(@_@)

"Cloud!!!" Alexa called him. uwaaaaah (×.×)

Cloud turned around and he sees us.

"Oh hi Captain Alexa! Hi Astrid!!!" he greeted us while walking close to us.

Astrid think!!! Think!!! Faster think!!! What to do!!! I might passed out here!!! Aha!!! Timing!!!

"Alexa!!! I just remember that the librarian want to me now."

"Eh? But Cloud is going here right now." that witch did her puppy eyes again, did she think I'm going to fall for that? (¯_¯*)

"But I really need to go now, Alexa." don't blame me Alexa, this is true, the librarian want to see me now, hihihi.

"*sigh* Fine, fine, go. I'm going to said that if he ask." and she gesture me to go.

"Sorry, Alexa, hehe." and I take my leave.

Woooh, safe at last. I walked and come to library to talk to our librarian.

Alexa's POV

*Sigh* As always, it always turn things this out. Why their meet is always interrupt?!?!?! What the?!?!?! And they keep things hard for me!!! Grrr (¯.¯*)

Astrid already gone on my side.

"Où va Astrid?" he asked.

I give him a death glare. Speak speak french I know he can speak English, 'cause that's their language there. (\=.\=*)

"Don't french me!"

∑(O_O;) that's his face.

"Ahahahaha, sorry Captain." he said.

"Hmph!" I said and criss-cross my arms.

"Hahahaha, bad temper aye? So, where's your friend go?" he asked once again.

"In the library, librarian called her (¯.¯*)" I answered.

"Aw, too bad." he said with disappointment.

"Always wrong timing!" I whispered to myself.

"Did you say something, Captain?" he confused asking me.

"Ahahahaha, none, none. Anyway, do you have anything to do now? If there is, better leave out of my sight right now (In mind : or else I might punch your face out of my frustration, but I can't do that especially in your face, Astrid might kill me if I do that to you, geez!!!) (¯.¯;)" I said out of my frustration but I didn't let it.

"Oh, since you asked. yes I have a practice now. Thank you for reminding me." he said and smiled.

"*sigh* Go, leave ." while gesture him go, well it's like out of my sight.

"Don't gesturing me like that (-. -) like I was like a pest or a dirt in your sight, Captain!" he said like a child.

I just raised my eyebrow on him.

"Leave or you want me to kick your *** way to your gym?"

"Alright, alright, I'm leaving, you have no fun. You're going to old early than to your friend. Hi Grandma Alexa!" after he said that he immediately run away from me.

WHAT?!?!

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!?!" sigaw ko sa kanya.

The heck?!?! Grandma Alexa?!?! I really going to kick his butt, that dumbass.

Haaaays!!! How could I reach them out together, hmmm. I looked at them while walking separately. But I startled when someone called me.

"Yow, Master Alexa!"

"Hi, senior!"

"Oy, you two." I said to Lorraine at Claire.

I looked again to them even they are far away from me. I feel that Claire is looking at me with a confusion on her face.

"Senior, what are you looking?" Claire asked.

"A hopeless situation." I simply answered.

"*sigh* How could I meet them to each other?" I asked them while walking on corridor.

"Do you really want them to get close, master?" Lorraine asked me to confirm it.

"Yay (^0^), I like romantic and happy endings." Claire happily said.

"I can make a plan." Lorraine suggested it.

"You two are right. That's what I want to make rhings happen to them." I said to them with determination.

I look at them.

"Okay, Lorraine aand Claire!!! We're going to do everything to make them close together!!!!!"

"YOOOOOSH!!!!"

Alexa came home to her apartment early, while Cloud still in practice and Astrid is still in library returning all the books in respective shelves.
