Morning sunshine is no fun at all, at least not for everyone, being able to see the sunshine is already a blessing, but to those who lose their lives, it doesn't count, ending wars is their blessing, then they return to being the human who count mornings as a blessing. 

"My name is Andrea Cho, I'm 17 years old and I'm in my senior years of my high school. I'm the daughter of General Cho and Doctor Cho. Usually, I'm alone at my place because of my parent's job, and I'm often left alone with my maids. But, I don't want to make my life boring, so whenever I get the chance, I visit dad at his camp and sometimes have fun with the training soldiers, then one day he came. My very first love, his name is Lester Gu, he's Commander Gu."

Andrea is drinking tea with his father and Commander Gu came in. Andrea was struck with his voice and face. She was just Looking at his face the whole time, as her dad was introducing Commander Gu to Andrea, Commander Gu smiled with warmth, took Andrea's hand and kissed it. Andrea was surprised so she pulled her hand, hid behind her dad and blushed. Commander Gu did not know what to do nor what to say. He just tucked his hands in his pockets and smiled. 

Minutes later, the General was called out and so the General called Commander Gu to take care of Andrea. As soon as she heard this, she blushed immediately. 

"Umm, Miss Cho, follow me," Commander Gu instructed her,

"You don't have to address me that way Commander, you can call me Andrea, or Rea for short,"  Andrea said, the Commander smiled and replied,

"Then call me  Lester in return Rea," Andrea blushed and turned away. They were standing there for 5 Minutes and Andrea felt awkward the whole time. And finally, a car arrived to pick them up, Lester opened the door for Andrea, as soon as they were able to sit down, Lester asked Andrea where she wanted to go, 

"I'm hungry, just bring me home," Andrea smiled awkwardly and Lester ordered the driver to go to a restaurant, Andrea was against it and so she asked Lester,

"Why the restaurant, I said just bring me home,"

"It should be more proper if I bring you home with a full stomach," Lester replied, Andrea was happy to hear what he said and so she just sat down and looked out in the window. 

Minutes passed by, Andrea's tummy is growling out of hunger and finally, they arrived at the Ming restaurant. Andrea was happy to enter the restaurant. She took a seat while Lester was just standing up and watching her pick, Andrea was wondering why, but she invited him to take a sit,

"Why don't you eat with me?"

Lester smiled and gladly sat down, and picked his preferred food. They were able to pick out some food and then they started to eat. Andrea and Lester was just silently eating, until Andrea spoke, 

"So, how old are you?"

Lester put down his fork down and smirked, "Oh my, Andrea is curious," 

Andrea blushed and answered,

"I-Is it wrong to wonder? I was curious about your age because maybe you're not near my age and yet I am not paying respect to you," 

Lester smiled for a bit and returned the question to Andrea,

"So, how old are you anyways?"

"I'm.... 17 years old," Andrea answered shyly,

Lester was surprised, he did not expect that the lady he's sitting next to is 17 years old. She looks like a grown woman. AT that moment, he's not in his senses and when he came back to his senses, Andrea asked again,

"So, how old are you Lester?" 

"I'm 27," Andrea was surprised and spoke,

"I-I-I'm sorry uncle!" 

Lester laughed and spoke,"You don't have to call me that way, 'Lester' is fine," 

Andrea decided to just shut up and eat, and as for Lester, he was wondering why Andrea is so silent, 

"Why are you suddenly silent?"

"I guess I was just shocked to know your age, I wasn't expecting that," Andrea replied with an awkward smile,

"You don't have to feel uncomfortable with me," Lester replied and Andrea was happy about that and they continued talking until they finished eating. They entered the car and rode away. It took a half our for her to reach home and fell asleep until they were able to reach her home. Andrea was deep in her sleep and so Lester picked her up and carried her to her room, placed her into her bed nicely and covered her with her sheets. Before leaving, Lester looked around for a bit and found out that Andrea is into needlework, music and arts, and so he finally decided to leave. 

He returned to the camp and reported to the General. He then started to return to his work but then he started to think of Andrea, he blushed for a bit when he remember her face and her voice, and the moment she asked for his age, he sighed and tried to forget them. 

On the other side, Andrea just woke up and asked her maids who brought her back, the maids answered and said it was a soldier, Andrea quickly realized that it was Lester and felt embarrassed. She went to her room and tried to forget it all by reading. But unfortunately, she picked out a romance book and so she remembered Lester again and decided not to read. She looked at her sketch book and looked for a dress to make from her own designs. She then picked one design and chose to make it look cyan, so she looked around for a cyan cloth to start with but then when she looked inside and everywhere, she's out of cyan cloth, she decided to go out and look for the perfect cyan cloth, and when she's about to open the door, her dad, the General with Commander is about to come in, Andrea was frozen to see them, and Lester was just looking at her, 

"Oh Andrea, where are you headed to?"

"Oh... I was about to go to buy a cloth, I didn't know that I was out of cyan cloth so I'm going to buy them," Athena replied

"I can accompany you," Lester insisted, Andrea was a bit disappointed because she wanted to go and forget about Lester and now there he is, standing in front of her, and even insisted on accompanying her, ironic,

"Oh, I'm sure I can take care of myself," Athena replied,

"Oh Athena, who would carry those heavy bags and things you'd buy?" General Cho asked, and Andrea was silent, Lester held her hand and said,

"Let's go, I'll help you out,"  

Andrea was not able to resist because of her weak physique and Lester is so strong, they reached the car and Lester opened the door for her, she's told to sit inside and so she did. And Lester sat down and drove away.

"So... where is this store?"  Lester asked,

"Oh just next that restaurant we ate from,"  Andrea answered,

Lester went to the same place. The path reminded Andrea of their conversation, and it bothered her so bad. Lester noticed Andrea bothered and asked her,

"Are you okay?" 

"Yup, I'm fine," Andrea replied,

"We're here," Lester said, 

Andrea was about to open the door but Lester hurriedly opened the door for her. Andrea felt a bit awkward about it but she just went along, 

"Thanks Lester," Andrea thanked Lester and went to the store to look for the finest cyan color cloth. 

Minutes passed by and so she was able to find the finest cloth. They bought the things she needed and headed home. 

Inside Andrea's thoughts was, 

"Ugh, this is so awkward. What will happen next?"

"I don't know why I find tailoring fun, though it is very stressing and difficult to do. Maybe because everytime I finish making a dress, I feel happy and new because of a new achievement, I made something and it's beautiful. And it's only for me,"

Andrea was busy making the measurements for her new dress. While thinking and drawing, her maid knocked on the door,

"Madam, someone wants to meet you,"

"Sure, I'll be down in a minute," Andrea replied,

She walked downstairs only to see her best friend Edward Tang.

"Edward! You're back!" Andrea exclaimed and ran towards him to embrace Edward,

"I've missed you so much Andrea. Wow look at you, you've grown into an angel!" Edward praised her and Andrea blushed for a bit,

"Anyways, I'm taking you out tonight, 7 o'clock at The Prime Dance restaurant," Edward excitedly said,

"Oh, but dad is expecting me tonight, you can ask him," Andrea told Edward with a worried smile. Edward agreed to it with a nervous voice. So the both of them hurried in the camp.

They've reached the camp and Edward's knees are shaking, it's because thinking of Andrea's dad takes him back to the first time Andrea introduced him to her father,

*throw back*

"Dad, let me introduce to you Edward Tang, he's my classmate and my best friend, he's been taking care of me in my whole junior year," Andrea happily introduced Edward to her dad yet the General's expression seemed mad, after a minute of awkward up-and-down stare from the General, finally, he spoke,

"Well, nice to meet you Edward, I am Andrea's dad. It's nice that you are looking out for my daughter, please inform me when something unpleasant is happening to her, or else..." The General took a long pause with a stare that could kill a kitten, "I will take the blame on you," he said with an even more piercing eyes.

*end of throw back*

Andrea called her father through the telephone and was able to enter the camp with Edward. And while they were on their way, Edward was so scared but the moment he saw Andrea's hand holding her hand, he was able to calm down, he wore the biggest smile and walked with her along the way happily.

They were able to reach the General's quarters, Andrea knocked three times and and her dad answered to come in. She opened the door only to see her dad with high ranked soldiers. Edward held Andrea's hand tighter and lowered his head,

"Chin up Ed, we're good," Andrea comforted Edward with a smile,

"Okay everyone, dismissed, we'll continue this later," General Cho ordered, and everyone left,

"Welcome back Edward, I can't believe that you left Andrea even after I told you to look out for her. Anyways, what's the matter?" General Cho asked, 

"Oh Sir, I was thinking maybe I can take Andrea out tonight at 7 o'clock at The Prime Dance restaurant, can I ask for your approval?" Edward asked the General politely, suddenly the door opened,

"I apologize for being late General, I had to retrieve few of our trainees from the track," Andrea did not expect Lester to be here, she thought that her dad dismissed them all from the meeting but then she processed what he just said. Lester was not aware that they were all dismissed from the meeting,

"Yes quite late," the General answered,

"I apologize," Lester apologized once more. 

"Very well then, I need you to look out for my daughter once again. this friend of her is inviting her over for a date at The Prime Dance restaurant at 7 o'clock, be sure to ensure her safety," 

*inside Edward's thoughts*                                                                                                                                        "You call this a date?! You even brought a third wheel  :< "

"Any objections Edward?" the General asked 

"No Sir," Edward answered with a disappointed face,

"Then you may take your leave now," the General said but then he called Lester for a private chat,

"Stay Lester," 

"General?"

"Keep a sharp eye on my daughter, the terrorists are probably brewing a new plan to lure me in, and that might include abducting my daughter, anything bad happens, you better report it to me right away,"

"Understood," Lester answered formally,

"I'm not only asking you to do this as a Major General but also as my friend,"

"I understand your worries David, trust me, I will keep her safe," Lester answered David Cho, and so he went out to give Andrea a ride home, while leaving Edward behind.

*In Lester's thoughts*                                                                                                                                           "General asked me to take care of Andrea, I am only to babysit one kid, not two," 

*In Edward's thoughts*                                                                                                                                                "At least consider me citizen who's in need of your service, :( "

Andrea sitting in the car and suddenly asked Lester,

"Umm, may I know who will send my friend home?" 

"No one," Lester replied,

"Oh but his home is very far from my place, please give him a ride home," Andrea asked Lester. Lester gave off an irritated expression and called some one,

"Hello? Is the kid still standing there?" "

Ask someone to give that kid a lift," 

"Thanks," *beep*

"Happy?" Lester asked Andrea with an obvious unhappy face,

Andrea ignored it and nodded with a smiled. 

After a half hour ride to her place, they finally reached her home. The maids opened the door for the two of them,

"Make yourself at home," Andrea said to Lester and Lester responded with a smile. Andrea went to her room upstairs to prepare herself. On her way to her room, her phone rang, it was her mom, she answered,

"Mom?" she asked,

"Andrea! How are you and your dad?" her mom asked,

"Pretty fine, how are you mom? How's London?" Andrea asked,

"Cold, but I have bad news," her mom answered with a sad tone in her voice

"Spill it," Andrea answered in a neutral voice

"Honey, I won't be able to come home in a few weeks, is that okay with you?" her mom asked

"Mom, do you know what's not okay? The fact that you're working so far away from your own family while you can find your own job here anyways," she answered, there was a long silence and without knowing, Lester was eavesdropping and overheard everything. Lester felt that it was not his place to listen and so he decided to go back downstairs and look at the family pictures hanging on the wall.

It was already 6 o'clock and Andrea was doing her hair, then suddenly, Lester knocked on her door. Andrea opened the door and Lester was standing there and spoke,

"May I come in?"

Andrea opened the door wider for Lester to come in,

"Rea, are you almost done?"  Lester asked,

"Oh... Umm... I haven't done my hair yet, so can you wait for a bit more?" Andrea replied,

Lester nodded his head as a response, he turned around and left the room. Andrea went back to fixing her hair, minutes later, Andrea opened the door and went downstairs. Lester heard footsteps and so he assumed it's Andrea, he looked at her direction and was mesmerized by her stunning looks, Andrea reached the bottom of the stairs and Lester is still stunned by her.

"Hey," Lester then looked as if he's awoken from a dream,

"Are you done staring?" Andrea asked,

"Who's staring?" Lester answered blushing,

he turned walked away then stopped,

"Are we going now?" Lester asked,

Andrea nodded with a smile and they both walked to the car, Lester opened the door for her, Andrea sat in the car and they drove off to The Prime Dance restaurant.

The Prime Dance restaurant, it is where most people with high social status spend their time to have dinner and dance with their partner or with random people. Edward Tang's family is tied with the Cho family, they are friends and business partners. General David Cho is Andrea's dad, Esmeralda Cho is her mom, and the chairman of Feng Wei Corporation is Andrea's Grandfather. With their family's wealth, Andrea is sitting in a High-Class restaurant with her friend Edward who is as wealthy as she is. 

Lester took the menu and ordered seafood meal and as for Andrea, she ordered for a western meal. 

"Any drinks?" the waitress asked,

"I would like to have wine," Edward replied, Andrea felt awkward, although Edward is old enough to ask for wine, Andrea is not, 

"I want a big glass of fresh milk please," Andrea answered,

Edward gave out a little chuckle, Andrea was embarrassed, she lowered her head and blushed,

"It's okay Andrea, I'll wait for the day when you can drink wine with me," Edward comforted her with a warm smile on his face,

Andrea felt at ease and so she just sat back and calmly waited for the food. The music band made it easier for Andrea to wait for the food, minutes later, her food was ready to serve. She was about to dig in but when she looked at a different direction, she saw Lester staring at her with a cup of wine in his hands. Andrea felt uncomfortable being stared at while eating. Every bite on her food, she checks on Lester if he's still staring and at her, she checks only to find out that he is still staring. She did that for the whole time that she did not focus on Edward, it is as if Edward wasn't there. Edward realized that something is bothering Andrea and so he did not speak nor ask why she is bothered and just continued eating.

They finished eating, Edward is still in an awkward situation and so he asked Andrea,

"Would you like to dance with me?" 

Andrea's eyes looked away from Lester to Edward. She did not know what Edward said but it was obvious that Edward asked her to dance and so she put her hand on his, they walked through the crowd and started dancing.

The music was so calming and so is Edward's smile. Andrea and Edward is having an eye contact and Lester is seeing it. Edward stopped and spoke,

"Andrea, I was waiting for this moment for the past 4 years in England, when I was there for college, I felt sad and lonely, it is as if I was longing for someone's touch, and I knew it was only your touch that can give warmth to the freezing cold in me. Andrea, all these years of being with me, I hope I was able to capture your affections," 

Andrea was shocked with what Edward said and was unable to speak,

"Andrea, I love you," Lester started to move closer to Andrea, he was about to kiss her when he felt that Andrea was no longer in his arms. He quickly opened his eyes only to see that Andrea was in Lester's arms, 

"What are you doing?" Edward asked him,

"Obviously, I am protecting her from you,"  Lester replied,

"Are you out of your mind? I am simply confessing my love to her, what's the danger in that?" Edward asked furiously,

"The General's words are simple, 'protect Andrea', I am simply doing my job, and also, confessing to her doesn't mean you can kiss her," Lester replied,

Edward went mad and so he pulled Andrea away from Lester's arms, 

"This is none of your business!" Edward shouted,

"Anything that's related to Andrea is my business, so please, let go of Andrea," Lester answered,

Andrea is feeling scared, she wanted to go home because a lot of people is seeing the scene an with her fame, reporters and people will talk about it. 

"Edward, please let me go, I wanna go home now," Andrea pleaded, Edward's angry face went sad, 

"Andrea, I'm so sorry, I promise this won't happen again, please forgive me," Edward asked,

"I forgive you, now let me go," Andrea said in a meek voice,

He loosened his arms and Andrea was able to go to Lester's direction, Lester took of his coat and covered Andrea and walked out of the restaurant to drive her home.

Andrea was scared and so Lester called someone to drive for them and held Andrea in his arms while on they're on their way to Andrea's home. Andrea fell asleep in Lester's arms, and so they arrived at Andrea's place, Lester decided to wake her up, Andrea opened her eyes and they stepped out of the car. Andrea went to her room straight, took a shower and changed. Andrea went downstairs, she thought that Lester went back to the camp but he isn't, 

Andrea just remained silent but Lester spoke,

"How are you feeling?" 

"I'm good, you may return to your camp now," Andrea answered,

Lester turned around and was about to leave but Andrea spoke,

"Umm, thank you, I don't know what to do if you weren't there," 

Lester looked back and replied with a smile,

"You're welcome," 

 That night was hard for Andrea, she went out her room and drank milk to help her fall asleep, but she already went out her room and drank milk three times and so she decided to just stay in the kitchen and think. But what exactly is she thinking about? All what happened earlier flashed in her memories, from when she saw Lester staring to when Lester took her in the car, it felt like a scene from a drama movie, while thinking, she blushed, it really felt like she was in a drama movie where two males fight for the girl they like. But then she remembered Lester's words,          "I am simply doing my job," Andrea frowned and decided to go back in her room and just sleep it out. In the morning, the moment she turned on the television what surprised her is the news,

"The Young Master Tang confessed his feelings for Miss Cho, could it be that the Tang and Cho families would be tied up with a marriage?" 

Andrea was shocked, she didn't feel like going out even though she's out of black thread. And so she decided to just look up the news on the internet, and there she saw a photo of her being in Lester's arms and a lot of people are fighting over it. Andrea was embarrassed, until someone knocked on the door, it was Lester and he gave her a ride to the camp and have a word with her dad.
