I was brought back to the same old place, same old house.The house I spent my high school life. The house I thought I would never return again.

DESTINY, I thought.

It was early August I sat in the porch resting my whole body after a long trip. The backyard looked lifeless and frozen with bamboo giving dense effect of darkness.

The calm and gentle wind of this place brought back many many nostalgic memories ...... the memories which was long lost .....

*that autumn I met a girl........ the golden ring of sunset I could never forget....... in those memories ~ those unforgettable words spoken to me..... *

I stood up and went inside to pour myself a glass of cold water. I opened the fridge and took out the bottle of water. I wondered eyes and caught the glimpse....

At the said table I saw a photo - little to rough and tattered. The faces in the photo was blurry so was my memories but I saw it.... those round blue eyes, black hair.... A girl with pale skin.

*"if.......if possible we.... re.. ^& , I'll l*^^& for you"*

"ouch my head hurts what was that right now" I said.

"hmmm, now I should start unpacking this things"

i stretched my arms and get to work.

Mild-breeze came uninvited from the open backdoor with the soft music of fluttering petals and wind chimes.

"Almost done" I thought.

I went outside to the balcony.

"this smell" the smell of fresh slow air blowing. I closed my eyes.

*welcome home....haru*

I heard a voice. "Ha...ru...!!?" I thought......"haru" :my old nickname

I looked straight front at the sky- the carpet of orange and yellow sunset.

*ha..ru ,let's m^*& a^a*#* I heard the voice again.

"whose voice is this??" I thought "whose..who are you??" I asked myself.

*flashback**haru, ....(smiles).... promise me*

"That smile....

"......did I forget something important??" I said small tears rolling down my cheek.

........something very important.

I took a long breath.

"lets go out for a walk" I thought.

I looked the door behind and kept the keys in my pocket. As I was going someone called me

"If it's not haru??"

I turned back to see who it was.

An old woman smiled at him saying "you have grown much since the last time I saw you".

I did not speak a word.

"I am sorry about what happened to your grandparents they were such a good neighbour...."

"hmm" I said not making eye contact.

"if you need anything come ask me I live next door" she said and left. "I wish if Sato-chan would see how much you have grown " she mumbled as she was leaving.

"sa...to chan!!?" I whispered under my breath

*haru....... it m^*# ha...ve being h^_& fo..r you right?*

"huh , whose voice is this??" I thought

Lost in my thoughts, I took a stroll in the town.That smiles ....I'll make sure I'll remember you.~~

I strolled down the side path walking alone under the warm sunset light.

Few cars rolled down the street of that place.

"I wonder what all this flashbacks are about" he said kicking small stones in his way.

He stopped under the tree with dry leaves falling down with the call of the wind. He looked up at the leaves that would fall one after other as wind blew by

"sa...to... chan" I said almost whispered to the breeze

Haru not only wanted to know who Sato was but also who he was...from all those small fragments of memories he recalled almost like a dream.

*flashback* *"Haru kun, this place " the blurry face pointed at the near cliff of the countryside.

He started walking slowly to the place little did he know what she was saying.

*"haru kun...this pla^#.....is my fa^#ur..ite"*

I walked to the place pacing slowly with curiosity and confusion.

I paused after watching what was in front of me.

A gust of wind trying to push me away from the place blew a little wilder. Leaves were cleared from the place along with the wind.

My eyes gazed at the scenery in front of me.

*" Sato-chan, th..^% is bea&^#/ull "*

I head hurt after what flashed inside as if it was saying you should not forget it.

The sun was diving into the sky binding farewell to this side of the world promising that it will come again. The sky was covered with golden sheet and the clouds reflected the many colours of sunset.

I did not blink my eyes. This place was something that everyone dreamed off.

*"Haru kun...." she said the face still blurry "I l^#e y&_"

Her hair floated in the breeze along with her white long dress .*

"who are..you??" I asked tears stared rolling down my cheek " huh!? why am I crying?" I wiped the warm tears and took a long breath.

I walked back to my house. It was already night time till then.

I boiled some water and made ramen.

The wind roared outside the window.The moon was out and the stars twinkled.

I opened TV and started going through different channels.

It was around 12:42. The backdoor was open and peaceful wind was flowing inside.

The wind chimes was making their sound along with far away dog barks.

In this silence....I heard a song with a beautiful voice.

Not from tv but from somewhere .. it echoed.

I remembered the song "this song" I said. The voice was as soft as a cotton as it reached my ears.

I followed the voice to my balcony till then I picked up the rhythm of the song.I paused after what I saw there.

The mild breeze blew her black hair in the wind. Those blue eyes were looking towards the moon and her pale skin reflected in the moonlight.

That night, in the balcony I saw her singing......

I stood there speechless wondering who the beautiful girl it.

Haru knew who the girl was but in a fact was not trying to accept the reality.

Those ocean like blue eyes was staring at the deep night sky. The reflection of moon and stars fell into her pale white skin.

Her voice, he remembered it quickly those trademark of her face he knew it was her - the girl who came in his dreams but more than that he wanted to know who she was ??

She looked into his chocolate dark brown eyes and stopped singing.

"Did I disturb you??" she asked

"umm" he nodded his head side by side.

"who are you??" he asked feeling a little scared and sad by his own question.

"Me... " she smiled.

That smile he saw many times in his dream.

"well......eto.."she scratched her hair a little showing sign of confusion.

'Did she forget her name??!' I sweat drop.

"umm ..." she looked at me with those ocean blue eyes of her "welcome home, haru-kun" she said with a sweet voice.

A trail of wind brushed my hair and skin.

"Haru-kun......" she stood from where she was sitting

I could not keep my eyes open for some reason. My mind was going blank... Her words could not reach my ears, it was as if like the light was being eaten by the darkness. I say she was saying something, her lips.. ".... do yo^ re%$m#_r ^e???"

I could understand her a moment ago....her voice now sounds so distant.... I tried to keep my balance but in vain.

Slowly even after I tried so hard I fall to the ground.

the next morning

The sun greeted the sky with bright light. The clouds moved above heads pacing slowly.

(yawns) "huh?!!, where am I??" I stood up from the place and stretched my arms .

*"welcome home haru-kun"*

'oh I remember there was a girl here last night' I said to myself.

I went inside and washed my mouth.

(ring ring rign)

"hello" I said. "who's speaking?"

"hi haru,its your mom" she said "how are you??"

"I am fine....what about others??"

"they are all fine but everyone is worried about you" she said making her voice as soft as possible.

"I am all fine no need to worry about it I just can't remember all things here but everything is fine" I said

"don't strain to get back your memories all at once ,ok dear, it's bad for your health" she said worried.

"ok,mom....."I said "......bye"

"bye, sweetheart "

I keeped the call and leaned against the wall.

"I wish.......I wish I never had the accident " I said to myself in almost a whisper and sat down right there.

Before haru came to this place there was an incident that changed his whole life. He lost his memories and broke his leg.

"I am such a bad luck...." my sentence trialled off with a soft sob.
