I have always been very fond of making perspectives along with the original story, so I decided to write about Lia's husband too… Talking about his journey

Chris! Come here right now!

Oh, hey dad... what's wrong?
Mr. Reef (Chris's dad)
Mr. Cliff is hosting a birthday party for his daughter 3 days later, and he has invited me to go. From what my resources tell me, he's inviting a hell lot of people. I suspect he's doing this to get better connections 🤔. Anyways, you're gonna come this time. I need you to meet the daughter.
Chris
Uhm… okay.. but.. why do I suddenly need to meet Lia?
They had played together a few times when they were much younger.. but after turning 10, Chris's father suddenly forbade him from visiting Lia again. he didn't give any reason 😮

Stop asking stupid questions and just make sure to dress up well. I don't want you to ruin my reputation 🙄

Meeting Lia
On the day of the party, Chris goes to the Cliff mansion with Mr. Reef. On entering the magnificent gates, a butler appears, and taking their invites, quickly ushers them inside to a table that was reserved.
Mr. Cliff comes on the dais, about 15 minutes later, and gives a small speech:

Good evening and welcome to one and all present here. Today we have gathered here to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday. Thank you so much to everyone who made it here. This event will be very fruitful, I am sure, as we will not only give our best wishes to my child, but also will have a chance to communicate amongst us.
Mr. Cliff leaves the dais,, and suddenly the lights of the hall are dimmed and a soft pink light falls on the top of the stairwell

Hmm? Why's there suddenly a spotlight?
Chris
* catches sight of lia *
Chris
She... looks so beautiful! (whispers under his breath)
Everyone leaves their seats and stands up a little at the centre, as a gesture of receiving Lia

* Stands up and moves as close to the centre as possible *

I hope I find some familiar faces today😕

* eyes roving the area, trying to find someone *

*catches sight of Chris*

*locks eyes with her*

* heartbeat speeds up*

* breaks out in a big smile*

Oh my... she saw me😃! I must look for a chance to talk to her!
Suddenly, he feels someone tapping his shoulder. Tearing his eyes away from Lia, he turns around to see a woman, smiling at him.
Nancy
Hello, Chris! Long time no see! Do you remember me?
Chris
*awkward* uhh... hi, madam! Yes, you do look familiar to me, but I may have forgotten your name...😅(lying)
Nancy
Ohhh, dear, it's me, Mrs. Jones! But you can call me Nancy, dear... tell me, how have you been?
Chris
I have been well, uhh... Nancy.
Nancy
Ah, lovely, listen dear, have you met my daughter, Diana?
Nancy
Diana, darling, say hello to Chris, he's a wonderful boy. You two should totally become friends😉
Chris
*oh god, why this? I can't deal with this right now 😣*
Lia goes to the table to cut the cake and again all the attention goes to her
After the ceremony, Chris detaches himself from Nancy and her daughter and hurriedly begins to search for Lia once again
He finds her sitting at a corner, looking a bit distracted

*approaches Lia* Hey there!
Lia
!!*so happy to see him that she flings her arms around him*
Lia
*ushers him to sit beside her*
They now have the conversation where the talk about their current situation

.... Now that we have reunited, why don't we take a stroll in the garden?
Lia
Sure! We'll go along the same path we used to😄
