"Ugh.... My head hurts," she said rubbing her temple "i hope i am not late for work today or else boss is gonna kill me." Opening her eyes she got up & was about to rush towards the bathroom when she noticed something different. Well to be honest, everything was different to her. She looked around her in bewilderment, mouth wide open she was trying to realize whether it was a dream or reality. She was lying in a comfortable bed with velvet curtains drawn apart from the windows, letting the bright sunshine in the room. She was dressed in a white gown which was probably made of some expensive and fine fabric unlike her usual pink pyjamas she wore to sleep last night. Not only the room was the problem but also the thing that it didn't contain a single air-con or a tube light & even not a single electrical appliance. "Just what is this weird place and where the hell am I?" she thought while getting out of the bed. Her feet touched something and when she looked down they were fine slippers which she definitely wouldn't have bought as her budget was always out of her control, making her barely able to meet her daily necessities. She was about to open the door when a short, strict-looking woman in her early fifties came barging through the door. "You got up madam," unlike her face she sounded kind. "Ah.... yes, but i don't know who you are or where am I? " she sounded lost. "This is Lord Brussley's mansion and my name is Evelyn." "Oh great, thanks for the info Evelyn but can you tell me WHY am i here dressed in this weird outfit for the very first time and certainly having a zero idea of this lord or whoever you are speaking of?", she was on the verge of her temper. Of all the things, she wanted to know why was she here in this weird mansion which looked like some antique of 18th century."I know you are confused madam but please eat something first and then you can get all these answers from Lord Brussley in person," she replied. "No, I don't have time for breakfast, just tell your lord to talk to me now or if he can't just get me out of this horrible dress. I can find my own way home." she said angrily. The woman in front of her looked calm as if nothing happened & said, "I am afraid madam you won't find a carriage around this time." "A carriage? Why would I look for a carriage? Then what are taxis for? This is the 21st century for god's sake!" she shouted. Now the calm expression of Evelyn changed, she looked concerned "Madam, I think you have hurt your head this is the 18th century not 21st." "Wait... WWHATT?" she exclaimed. "Ok so you are saying that I am in 18th century not 21st right? Then who am I? Do you know me? And even if this is the 18th century I certainly don't know who this Lord is!"
"That is not true, my dear Ella", Lord Brussley said entering the the room. She looked alarmingly towards the gray haired man standing in front of him, he looked way too familiar to her. "How do you know my name?" she inquired. "This is what we need to talk about, my dear" he smiled knowingly.
