Dear Diary, May 27, 20XX

It's the first day of the last week of summer vacation, the day that we would normally hate; Monday. Since it's summer, it's not so bad for us students, in fact, we all want the vacation to last, but I, Annise Coltons, would love for school to start again, i know others would dislike me for saying that though. I don't want school to start because classes resume again(I have a love and hate relationship with studying), I want school to start again because I miss my friends. I know people will say that summer is the time to hang out a lot with your friends, sad to say, but it's not the same case with me. you see, my family( specifically my parents) aren't too fond of me hanging out with my peers, not that they want me to be a loner or anything, its's just that they're strict. I have to ask for their permission before I can even go out to go practice or grab some food at a nearby fastfood chain, and if they don't allow me to go then I can't go, sounds sad doesn't it?

I've gotten used to it, besides, my current situation right now is way better than my old one, before, I can only go home after school and study, and I wasn't even allowed to use and social media accounts unless it was Saturday and Sunday! Now back to present time, since it was Monday and only a week left before classes begin, I decided to go buy some school supplies and some art supplies, I also went to a mall to decide what to give my cousin for his birthday, I ended up buying a perfume for him since it was something he always used, he never left his room without having perfume sprayed onto his clothes. Thankfully I was able to save up a bit from the allowances my mom gave me from time to time, I finished buying the things i neede quite early so I grabbed something to eat while waiting for my driver, which was something I regret doing. I lived in different country because of my parent's jobs. I had to change into different schools almost every year, but thank heaven my classmates were nice, I didn't have a hard time fitting in thanks to them. After eating a chicken burger and daydreaming I went to the parking lot to meet with my driver, the ride home was long and boring, I couldn't understand anything my driver was saying 98% of tge time, but he knew a bit of broken English which was enough to help me understand what he was trying to say, he tried to entertain me, yet I ended up asleep at the backseat of the car( sorry for that driver). After I got home, I stored the the items I bought, having already ate lunch, I headed straight for my room to have some peaceful time. I sat on my bed, grabbed my ukelele and played some easy songs[i didn't sing cuz im tone deaf :-( ]. 2 hours passed by so quickly that it was almost time for dinner, i went downstairs to cook something for dinner( trying to be a good child ;-)), eating a calm and complete meal with my parents was a miracle, normally, they would be too busy too eat with me or while eating with me they would usually get a call from work saying they have to come back, they sometimes rush eat or not finsih their food. But today was a miracle they actually gave me their time which was the only thing I wanted. It's getting late I have to go to bed or else dad would think im slacking off, im supposed to be reading books instead of writing on something they call "a childish plaything"( oh no it's not >◇
