I survived

I've made it and all my dreams might come true.

actually you know what,they will come true.

All my hard work will finally pay of.

I almost cry as I see my letter of acceptence for a scholarship. Finally I'll be free from this rat whole apartment....if u can even call it an apartment. I jump of my bed as fast as I can.

Got to pack,Got to pack....

I sing in my head,

lucky for me I don't have a lot of clothing.

wow that sounds soooo depressing. Ugh who cares...

" I'm going to college!!!"

I scream as I shove all my cloths into my backpack. They all fit in there...meh.

I grab my backpack and head out the door.

I run through the steps as fast as I can

what am I doing...college isn't until a few weeks later.

Feeling stupid I turn around and meet all the eyes I past when I was running down the stair

"hehe...he" damn this is so embarrassing.

Well...might as well run back up....

I run back up to my tiny room and sit on my bed.

Streams of happy tears start rolling down my cheeck.

Shit I have to go to work tomorrow.

I laugh at myself,can't believe that what I'm think of right now.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

I'm going to coollleggg,I'm going to coolllegg.

I'm so happy I could burst!

i told everyone that Im going to college.

By everyone I mean strangers going into the bakery I work at and poeple I see on the road.

I hear a knock on my door.

I run to open it. As soon as I open the door...before realizing it I burst out

"I'M GOING TO COLLEGE....ON A SCHOLARSHIP"

I check to see whose at my door.

Coco is the only perspon I like in this horrible town

She's a short old lady who...according to her,has a lot of swagger.I remember my first time meeting her. I cinged so hard.But she's cool tho well,sort of...for an old lady

"Wow I'm suprized" she answers with an exaggerated look of shock.

"Its not like its the 100th time you've told me"

I chuckle "yeah,yeah....so what hv got for coco" I ask while looking at the stack of paper in her hand.

"giirrlll...Ya know I told u call me coke...got to earn some respect up in this piece"

"Sorry coke.....so what have u got there"

"I got u some texts"

"U mean letters"

"maannnn, nobody be calling that no more"

"Suuuuuuure...so you got some thing for me?"

"hell yeah....here u go homes. Peace! Catch in on the flip flop!" she says while give me 2 letters

I sit back down on my bed

It says they've arranged tranport for me...
