Dark shadows are everywhere making it hard for Christine to breath.
It was dark. Howls from unknown beasts can be heard. No one is there aside from the girl who keep on shouting and crying.

No one can answer it for the girl. The shadows continuously fly and surround the scared girl. Some of the shadows transformed into chainlike mist and groped the girl, strangling her neck and restricted her moves.

Christine has been plagued by weird and scary dreams since she was a child. Her mother will always stay at her side, lulling her to sleep and chasing the dreams away.
Since the death of her mother, no one was there anymore to chase the dreams away. She will cry in her sleep and shout as loud as she could, hoping there will be even soul to save her.
Her father will go to her room just to slap her. Because of the maltreatment, she learned to just bit her arm. That helped her not to shout or cry out loud.
