finally my first day of highschool, I haven't been more excited since my foster parents bought me Rufus my German Shepherd he's a big fluffy teddy bear. for as long as I can remember Rufus was my guardian angel, not only could I bring him to school whenever I wanted, I could also go out and take a break outside the classroom. I got dressed in my cutest outfit I could find and I grabbed rufuss' vest he needed to wear in order to come with me. we then proceeded to the bathroom I brushed my teeth and did my hair. "well Rufus aren't I the fairest of them all?" he wagged his tail and barked almost silently I giggled some before heading to the kitchen. I walked down stairs and looked at my foster mom and smiled sitting at the table while Rufus lay at my feet. "so mom what's for breakfast?" she smiled at me and set eggs bacon grits and my favorite chocolate chip pancakes. she then said in a warm voice "so I see your all dressed up may I ask what for" I then answered in the most hyper voice "school of course! it's not only the first day of highschool it's a perfect day to meet new people and make friends." she smiled at me and kissed my forehead and hugged me. "well I'm off to work make sure you aren't late for the bus and wake your dad and tell him that breakfast is ready" I sighed a bit "but mom I wanna hurry and go can't you drop me off?" she sighed "fine but wake your father first." I smiled and ran to my parents room and shook my father. he groaned and sat up yawning. he said with a yawn "what time is it..." I walked towards the door and replied "time to go, I'm going to school later!" I quickly said and ran outside and hopped into the car with Rufus. my mom pulled out of the driveway and started the drive to my school, on the way she looked back at me and said "so why do you wanna get there so early, when I was a kid I hated school you seem way to energetic towards it." I answered "because I want to visit the library and find my classes." she nodded and pulled into the circle drive and stop. I got out with Rufus and waved bye to her and walked into the school. first stop was the office of course, I gave them the papers to allow Rufus to stay with me through out the day. I then went to the library I found the quietest place and sat with sigh lil nervous. school was ok but highschool was lil new and terrifying...Rufus picked up on my nerves and licked my face and nuzzled up under my chin. I smiled and gave a soft pet on the head and hugged him. "ok Rufus let's go make some friends!" I got up and went to the lunch room and looked around, it was packed with all sorts of people. I sat at a table and not long after a girl came up to me who had a husky with her.she smiled and held her hand out before saying "hi my names Lucy and this is Jenna my therepy dog." I smiled back and shook her hand "I'm Aki and this is Rufus he's my therepy dog too."
