"Rrrrinnnng", the digital clock sets on with a time 4:30 am. A fair and slender hand with long fingers and perfectly clipped nails presses a button and the alarm stops.

"Nnnnnngh, good morning Haedae! Your new day starts."

So, this is how I start my perfectly normal day and it just happens to be Monday! "Urgh! Now get ready and start the chores"

It didn't take me long to get fresh and exactly at 5:00 am, I put on my sneakers and start the everyday run of 10kms. You see! I am not an athlete but I do workout a little.

After sets of some exercises I took a shower and prepared some toasts for me. I have to go to school you know and above that, finally! I asked out my high school crush and she agreed for a date today. So, generally its not like that but I am a bit exited to go to school. I can't wait to meet her!

I live alone and my parents live in a small remote area, we are not rich but we also are not poor. You would put me into higher middle class group. I am presently studying in one of the best schools in here and all thanks to scholarship.

I sit in the fourth row fifth bench near the window. Why? I like to stare out of the window and also because I can be behind her whole school hours. I entered the class and the first thing I do was to find her before even entering. She saw me and smiled, I smiled too and she blushed. I rubbed my nose in embarrassment but it felt good. I moved to my seat.

"You good?"

"En*", she said and we both fell silent.

"So, we are going on date today, you excited", I said that suddenly and a bit loudly. Everyone in the class saw in our direction and my nose felt sour. Suddenly i felt a shearing pain at the side of my head. She had smacked me on the head out of embarrassment and was a bit strong hit. I felt a bump on head.

"Ouch! What are you doing? Why? It hurts you know!"

"Sorry! But you said a bit loudly and I didn't know what to do."

"Seriously?" , and then I looked at her red face it felt like she would hide her face entirely in her chest and that was fun to see I laughed after seeing this. Seeing me laugh she smacked me again.

"Aaaaah! Now what? My eyes were almost full of tears.

"Don't you think, you deserve that"

"What? Okay sorry! But please don't hit me again"

"Okay! She said and smiled while putting a hair strand on the back of her ear.

We were in school and so we were wearing the white shirt, brown pants/skirt and a red tie. But I would admit she looked rather cute in that dress too and also her chest was not that developed but then too they were not bad either. I smiled in a bit awkward way. When she saw me staring at her 'you know what', her face became red and she glared at me with anger. When i saw her, I was terrified I removed my gaze and apologized.

"No problem, it's alright!"

"It's alright? You mean I can stare if I want to"

"No way! And no love birds thing in school, its unethical"

"It's the what?"

"Leave it, just leave it!"

I was mesmerized by her and looked forward away from her smiling she did the same. She was sitting just right of me in the 3rd row. Morning became afternoon, afternoon pushed the sun to the horizon when the time arrived and we met at the place chosen.

*En: a sound that people generally use when agreeing to someone without saying anything

"So, where are we going?", she asked.

"Well I want to go...:?", and I looked at her face staring at me

"To go to the place where u suggest"

"Really!", and man she was damn excited and you know what place she chose, a place with which none of you can think of, the most romantic place in the world. She chose that we spend our first day in a library. Yeah guys, same library where none is allowed to whisper let alone talk and if you are thinking about being cheesey then never forget the glare of an intense librarian.

There I sat in the library holding some brand new ancient book Arcane History upside down peeking at her from one corner.

"Ummm, do you wanna say something?", she asked.

"No! Nothing at all. Why?"

"Well you have been doing that juju* thingy of yours!"

"Heh heh!" I laughed awkwardly and asked her,"Does this moment seem romantic to you?"

"Annnd why should it be romantic?"

"Coz it's a date?"

"Are YOU, in anyway saying that MY choice is BAD?", she made a poker face and leaned a bit forward.

"Aah! No, for my head's sake no, this is a very nice place but u see we are on a date and this is not a perfect place for that, i guess", I laughed awkwardly again leaned front and pinched her nose slightly.

"Hey! Not fair!", she was embarrassed and smacked my head.

"Owww!", I groaned in pain and laughed.

Just then I felt something, someone. There was a sudden chill and a killing intent in the air and the smell I recognized.

I asked her,"Hey Olive! Wanna play a small game for time passes?"

"What game?", she was confused after my sudden question.

"Let's see if u can control ur curiosity, whatever happens don't look back", i said to her with a cunning smile.

"Seriously l? Just this! Fine!", she replied.

I left my seat and went in the direction of the washroom. There I saw a shadow moving inside the washroom and tailed it. It was gloomy when I reached there though there was no one now there lingering the same weird smell. Just then, I felt a killing intent behind me and even before I could react I was pushed to the wall and someone pounced on me. I dodged and jumped aside and heard a sharp and irritating screeching sound.

When I looked back, there was no one l. Though the smell was still there but the bone chilling presence had already disappeared. Though the wall had now a deep long mark like it had been scraped by a very sharp knife 4 times.

"Damn wolf! Won't leave me alone even in a thousand years"

I came out all soaked in water and of course it was the center of attraction. Though water was not dripping from my clothes. I sat in front of Olivia Davis. I sighed.

"U back from the shower?", she asked without looking at me.

"Hehe, nope. Just some incident happened and why being so cold?"

She looked at me and smiled,"sorry! I just found something interesting here, so I was reading that. I didn't want to be rude"

"It's okay, no need to be so formal". I told her. "Let's go out, I know some places I visit there at night sometimes."

"Okie!"

She giggled and said,"won't you feel cold?"

"Naaah! Its fine"

We came out of the library together and I went to bring my bike.
