"Schedule today is tight as well, huh?" Xiao Zhan said to himself as he looked at his reflection on the mirror. He's at his dressing room as he just finished recording a show that he accepted a month ago to be a participant.

As he was recalling the things happened yesterday when he had an interview for a magazine, he just remembered that he was set to be a guest on another TV station in the afternoon.

He got his phone to see the remaining schedules after being a guest in the show. He was looking at it when he received a text from someone.

'Zhan-ge, do you have time this lunch? I want us to eat together'

He smiled as he read the text...

'Cool, where do you want to eat this time? My treat'

'No, Zhan-ge, it's my turn to pay now. You always pay whenever we eat outside; I also want to treat you this time'

'Okay, tell me what time and the place, I will be there'

He received another text again, and he was about to reply when he received a call.

"*Hello?"

"Xiao Zhan!"

"Hey, no need to shout at me, how are you?"

"I'm fine, what are you doing*?" the caller asked.

"*I was resting, will be having a photo shoot later. What are you doing?"

"Nothing, i am free now, so i want to call you. I miss you. Did you miss me*?"

Xiao Zhan chuckled, "*Of course, I miss you. We were just texting awhile ago."

"Don't blame me, I want to hear your voice, it comforts me."

"Why do you want comfort? Is something wrong?"

"Nah, i just want to have positive energy for the upcoming show we have today”

"Oh, ha-ha, you are doing well, be more confident to yourself."

"Thank you, Zhan-ge"

"I will have to go for now, I will meet you later?"

"Okay, bye-bye"

"Bye-Bye*"

As soon as the conversation ended, he sat up and prepared himself as he was set to go for another shoot.

Lunch came by, and Xiao Zhan is still not finished with his photo shoot, since they were delayed from the start. He was not aware of the time until they were finished. As soon as he saw the time on his phone, he was worried he might not make it on time. He saw a lot of messages and few missed calls from one person.

He called...

“Hey, i got held from the shoot, did you already eat?” XZ said as soon as the call got through.

“It’s alright, Zhan-ge. I was calling you to tell you I can’t make it. There was a change on my schedule.”

“*Oh, is that so? Then, it’s fine.”

“I want us to meet tonight though*.”

I was not surprised, as this comes naturally from him.

I grinned, “*Okay then, you can decide where to eat tonight.”

“Can i go to your place*?”

He’s still quite a straightforward person.

“*Oh, Okay then. You have the spare key right? You can go first if you want.”

“Okay Zhan-ge. I need to go now*.”

7:00 PM

Xiao Zhan was recording a show when his assistant was making a sign for him that he has a phone call. Though he had a hint, the recording was still on.

I looked at my watch and it’s already past 5 in the afternoon. I know Zhan-ge is still not finished recording their show, so I decided to go at his house firstly.

I entered the house, and went directly to the kitchen. His fridge still has lots of foods on it, there were even foods cooked with notes on it.

I checked if there’s beer on it when I saw one note that says, 'YiBo’s food'. Lol, why do i feel like he’s pertaining to a dog or something? Haha

I opened the cabinets, and saw some Chips and some foods I don’t recognize, i think its gifts from fans.

I went to the side bar and saw some champagne and some wines, there’s beer as well. I always thought that Zhan-ge’s not the considerate one when i first knew him, but he was actually a thoughtful and a very nice person.

Zhan-ge redecorated his house after we met, this house was once a quiet and refreshing house, but when I asked to come to his house almost every day, he decided to renovate some corners of his house. He even made a room for me, designed by him.

Some of the decorations of his house as well are my choices which really made me happy that he let me decided something for him.

I went to the living room, and got myself occupied by a movie. Didn’t realize the time passed by, I was only came into my sense when i heard the main door being opened.

“YiBo, are you there?” i heard Zhan-ge calling.

I thought of being clever, so i decided to fake a sleep on the sofa. I heard some footsteps coming near so I closed my eyes and controlled my breathing.

Its past 8 in the evening now, and as soon as the recording finished, i got my phone to see if there’s any message from YiBo.

From YiBo:

'Work is done.' 5:06pm

'I drove my motor.' 5:30pm

'I just arrived at your house.' 6:14pm

'Zhan-ge' 6:34pm

There are messages from some friends as well... As i read them, I got a call.

“*Xiao Zhan!”

“Hello, how are you?”

“It’s Zifan’s birthday! It’s been awhile, we need to gather and celebrate tonight!”

“Oh, i already sent a gift for him though; I can’t make tonight Zhao Lei.”

“What? But the others are looking forward to see you as well. We decided to have a party at Wu JiaCheng’s place since his house is actually bare enough to fill us. Also, ZhiGuang and GU Jiacheng prepared a special performance. You have to come”

“I might come but can’t stay for long; i have a guest at home right now.”

“It’s okay; you can go after the cutting of cake.”

“Okay. See you later*.”

The call ended. It’s already 8:14 in the evening; I wonder what YiBo’s doing right now. I should call him.

Before I even press the call button, there was an incoming call from Zifan.

“*Hey man, our Zifan is getting older now heh”

“Hello Zhan Zhan, I heard you’re coming to the party, i received your gift so i thought you won’t come.”

“I just knew about the party right now, Of course I will not miss Zifan’s birthday. I’ll see you later*.”

The call ended again...I decided to send a text to YiBo.

As I heard the footsteps coming near, I faked sleep to see what Zhan-ge will do. I counted, but there’s no voice coming out from him.

I heard someone cough, but it’s not the usual cough from the person i know. I suddenly awakened, and saw another person unknown to me standing in front of me.

“*Who are you?”

“I should be the one asking you, who are you*?” the other person asked.

I don’t recognize this person’s face, and he also doesn’t know me. Was he a relative of Xiao Zhan?

“*I didn’t know somebody else lived here besides Xiao Zhan. Were you a friend of his?”

“Yes, I am Wang YiBo. You are?”

“I am Xiao Fei. Is Xiao Zhan still not home? I want to surprise him, but knowing someone else was living here beside him was a surprise to me*.”

Xiao Fei? I never heard of him from Zhan-ge, but why do i feel that they are connected somehow?

“*He’s still at work. I came here first because we agreed to have dinner together.”

“How did you come inside? You have a key?”

“Yes.”

“Hmm, seems you are that close enough that he even gave you a key to his house.”

“How are you related to Xiao Zhan*?”

After a long pause, i heard his answer.

I regret asking him that question...

The party started and food and drinks are all around, after Zifan’s performance is the cutting of the cake, the cue for me to leave. I texted YiBo awhile ago but there’s no reply from him, hope he will not sulk since our appointment was earlier than the party.

“Zhan Zhan!”-Zhao Lei

“*Hey man.”

“Did you prepare something for Zifan tonight*?”-Chen Ze Xi

“I am going to perform a magic trick!”-Xia ZhiGuang

“We’re going to dance!”-Yan XuJia

“Did you prepare a performance tonight, Zhan ge?” –Zhao Lei

“I didn’t prepare anything, but i might sing for him.” I said to them.

“Xiao Zhan! Hey, hey, hey.”-Peng ChuYue

I looked at ChuYue who was dashing towards us while holding some papers.

“I prepared a song tonight, but I don’t think i can do it alone. Can you sing it with me?”-Peng ChuYue

“Sure, we can do that. The info about the party was so sudden, i didn’t prepare anything.” –I said to him

“Let’s rehearse for abit then.”-Peng ChuYue

The party goes on; the XNine group is enjoying the night. They performed their prepared performances for the party as well. Xiao Zhan took a break and was about to call YiBo since there was no reply from his text when he arrived at the party.

“Zhan Zhan” he heard his name called

“*Zifan! Our boy is growing up again huh?”

“Thanks for coming. I thought you wouldn’t come since you’ve sent some gift*.”- Zifan

“I just knew about the party when they called earlier. Did you open the gift?” i asked

“*Yes, i liked it very much.”

“Of course, i bought it for you. Anyway, i have to leave soon. I can’t make my guest at home wait longer*.”

“Yes, Sure. Uhm, would you stay at least after i sliced the cake?”

“Sure! Come on. Let’s go, the birthday boy should not be missing his party.”

Zifan

The party is still going on, and Zhan-ge just left.

“Zifan!” –Zhao Lei

“Where’s Xiao Zhan?” –Peng ChuYue

“He went home already. He has a guest waiting at home.”- I said to them

“Oh, yeah, he said something like that when we called him earlier” –Zhao Lei

“I think he just finished work when we called.” –Peng ChuYue

“We can still catch up though, since we have to celebrate again soon.”-Chen ZeXi who went closer while holding a bottle of beer.

“Did he tell something about his guest though? I wonder if it’s his family.”-Wu Jiacheng

“Hope it’s not bad.”-Yan XuJia

“Maybe it’s a girl.”-Chen ZeXi

“I don’t know. He didn’t tell me anything.”-I answered.

“Well, let’s just continue the party. We can’t waste this break we have!”-Chen ZeXi

The party goes on until past 10. I texted Xiao Zhan if he went home safe and he sent a reply, “Yes, Have a good night rest. Don’t get wasted. B)”

I don’t know when it started; I’m having a man crush on Xiao Zhan. I mean, he is handsome, and he has a great attitude.

I just need to keep it a secret, because i can’t make a ruckus with this. When i received the gift he sent me this afternoon, i was happy, because he remembered my birthday. I mean, we were a team, so they might have already known it by mind, but we took a break, and went to work on our own. So i expected some of the guys might forget it, but they spammed me messages and greetings about my birthday.

I just love my group members. They were always there, even when we have different schedules and we are in different places.

When we decided to have a break, all of us received different projects and went to gather our own staffs for our work. The break is not a bad cause, since we want to improve more ourselves. Changing the environment is one way of it, which will serve as a challenge to us. Since we will not be together for awhile when we do our own works.

I recalled the time when Xiao Zhan told us he received a role from a drama series “Chen Qing Ling”, and he’s one of the main character. Our concert is still ongoing when he has to attend the auditions, and the some arrangements of the series.

We know that Xiao Zhan is popular, not only because he had a handsome face, but he is also a genuine man.

When the drama series was released, it became popular immediately, and Xiao Zhan gathered many fans from different parts of the world. When i watched it, i was impressed by how he gets into the character of his role.

I was curious about the drama, so i tried to read the novel.

*Blush*

I was overwhelmed when i read the parts of Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi.

I mean, it was really a BL novel; i don’t have anything against it. But it was too much for me, especially when i reached the part where he entered Wei WuXian.

After the drama finished releasing, i went back and watched again. It was beautiful, and i enjoyed watching it. Xiao Zhan really is a great actor.

I also watched the Behind the Scenes, and i saw how Zhan Zhan and the other guy, Wang YiBo, interact with each other. I was a bit jealous because they were more intimate when on break.

They were always fighting with each other, and YiBo always hits Zhan Zhan. I wonder how Zhan Zhan can tolerate him haha.

I became a fan of their series, and i might ship the two since the way they interact with each other reminds me of when i watch couples from movies. They were good together, i even watched their concerts, their interviews and their guest shows.

“Come on Zifan!” - Gu Jiacheng

I was brought back from my thoughts when i heard my name called. Oh yeah, the party was still going on. We resumed the party until some of the guys got wasted; i can’t drink much since i need to clean the place, so i only had few. I hope Zhan Zhan have a good night rest as well.
