.......Reality of life.....

I'am not writing this only because I can't see my memory being forgotten and destroyed by Black hole of life.

This story is dedicated to my best friends who are no longer with me.

It was 12th of June 2003 8:45 a.m. A beautiful girl was born in India in XX city. She was like a beam of light in her parent's life because after long struggle Mr and Mrs Pandey was going to start over their new life 3 years before devanshi (Mrs Pandey) and Ankur (Mr. Pandey) fell in love with each other.

However Ankur was not able to convince his parents as a result, She was married with another boy, a loveless partner.

His name was Suresh. He and his family tortured Devanshi as much as they could as she was not able to give enough dowry (as you can see it was a major problem in India back then). His family tried all the dirty ways which came in their dirty mind to kill Devanshi. They tried to put poison in her food, even tried to burn down her room but maybe god was with her. She was strong enough to stand on her own shoeless but tough feet. She finally signed the divorce papers with Suresh.

Divanshi opened her own beauty salon.

what about Ankur?? .....he was always there for her. After becoming a Divorcee, her own mother used to give her sarcasm Like....

"what a useless child, how is she going to protect herself when she was not able able to protect her marriage certificate" These types of comments used to break her heart into million pieces but only one person was there who picked each and every piece.... Ankur.

Even though he was not very good in expressing his feelings but yet it's true that he was always there for her caring and loving. love was in the air. they were so madly in love with each other but it was like the whole world wanted to break their Bond but as always love wins.

So one day they got married in a temple and as a witness only two people were there Ankur's father and devaanshi's brother.

In their initial period they tasted a lot of struggles Ankur lost his job and devaanshi's parlour was sold off in order to pay the debts. They had to sleep on streets sometimes on the benches of the railway station.

But after Neha was born as I mentioned above their life lightened. Ankur got a good job in journalism in a newspaper called '24×7'. everything changed for good financial situation ,relations ,social status everything.....

They used to wonder how on earth they got so fortunate all of a sudden..!!

They were still thinking how on earth they became so lucky.... they were not expecting that their thought would proved to be wrong so soon.... six months after the birth of neha, when they went for a normal eye check up.. the doctor announced that she has a tumor in her left eye.. because of this there is still a chance that she will lost her right eye too..... after hearing this it was like their world fell apart. They had no idea what to do next. Then Devanshi's sister advised her to make an appointment in AIIMS hospital (All Indian Institute of Medical Science). Even though they didn't had enough money but yet..... the knew that they had to do it anyway.. by hook or by crook, afterall neha was their only sunshine. They made arrangements.... devaanshi started working as a maid.

In childhood she was a brilliant student but becoming a maid.. was beyond her wildest dreams but as you all know for the sake of her child a mother can do anything Ankur also started working in an old factory in order to make some money. They were making the ground and the sky one.

After they had enough money they finally went to the hospital...... AIIMS. Firstly there the doctors also concluded it as tumor, then it was like their heart sank down in the great Pacific Ocean but they got relief as after a proper diagnosis doctors find out it was not tumor but the retina of the left eye was cracked. It was no good news either but yet a lot more good then tumor isn't it, as she was only six months old then and whatever they mentioned was not so easy. In that exercise one eye need to be covered for the whole day, firstly right eye and then the left one then right eye again and so on.

I know what you all are thinking that she was barely one year old and she was forced to suffer a lot but yet as I told you earlier she was smarter then we thought and braver then we imagine. She continued this exercise till her 11 years of age. Not only this but she was also supposed to go to to AIIMS for her regular checkup.

All of this circumstances gave a very great impact on her studies. Till her 6th standard she was literally failure she was bullied in school not only by her classmates but her seniors also, even the teachers didn't take care of it because in their opinion she was the weakest student they had ever known. Red marks were filled both in her class work copies and test copies.

There was no one who could guide her but one incident changed her reputation completely....

....... ***never ending difficulties........
