I am awake, my eyelashes kiss my upper cheecks. My eyes sting, as if I've been asleep for years, and I NEVER want to regain consciousness. It's so... quiet, but not the silence that makes you want to wait for an unecessary gasp or a screaming that makes you realise why it's so quiet. The water strokes my bare body as I stand. The sky is a purple turning to a blue, turning to a red that soon shall be a green. The air tastes like life, like the wonder you see in a young child's eyes, before they are broken by society. I step out onto the green grass and it comforts my ***** feet. My hair tickles my shoulders, there's not one sign of wind. This place is a temperature I've never felt before, but somehow has always been my favourite.

Who... am I? Why am I here? It's only been a few minutes since my slumber broke and I'm already doing what made man make the most careless mistake, doing anything possible to find meaning. If nobody was broken to the point where they felt they needed to feel needed, maybe my mother wouldn't have been killed by a man that felt alcohol gave him meaning. The man... who made me. I'm the reason she's a "hoe" and a "slut". Wait........

MY MOTHER? !?! I had a mother!

I begin to run, through the grass. Though the air, sky, trees and water that is still my on clothing, is slowing me down, bringing me to a halt, I don't want to, but the cold water has covinced me I do. I drop to the ground. Sobbing, sobbing, sobbing. Then I'm out again. I wake up. Some one is screaming, however it only stops when I close my mouth. There she stands, horrified. And he, he tries to calm me as he holds me. "I'm here". I stop. " I missed you, my love" I say. I cry "I've been so lonely". I touch his scars "you told me you wouldn't let them hurt you!" I yell. "I'm okay though, you don't need too worry". "I just woke up and you're already hurt!". " Exactly! You need to relax, you just woke up. Again". Why do I remember a man I don't know.

His touch, is magnetic. Like it's feeding me memories, do I even know him.. or. I jump out of his arms. All of a sudden I remember nothing I did a few seconds ago. What is happening?! "Who are you?!" I yell. "Alyssa, calm down!" . "Who is Alyssa?!?!". " I know you are confused! It's okay. Listen to the sound of my voice". I.... I need to leave here. The stab in my neck was quick and didn't give me enough time to feel pain before the world went black and I hit the floor once more....

It's funny how an energy can lurk only in one place. I walk out of the room I woke up in (the room that for some reason made me scared). But now, as I walk into another room. It looks like a dining room, the way the light hits everything in this house calms me. I smile, the clothes I'm wearing aren't mine, which suddenly helps me come to the realisation that I am not alone in this house. I turn my head, at a table facing a window sits a boy, he looks about my age ( around 16) he has jet black hair and even though he is sitting I can tell that he is much taller than me. He's gorgeous, next to him sits another guy, also gorgeous, with golden hair and he's also obviously way taller than me. "Pffft" I accidentally let out, now all eyes are on me. I've always been self conscious about my height, that much I can remember. Now even as I stand in a new WORLD with new opportunities and new people. I'm still only thinking about how short I am. That's hilarious.

My smile quickly fades, as I realise how serious everyone in the room is. I see... him, the guy that I met yesterday. He claimed he new me, he made me remember things that didn't happen, or did they.... In front of them sits the girl he was accompanied by yesterday, she looks like she's been crying, red marks paint her shoulders and arms. She looks about 15. Her red hair is still slightly wet with droplets of her tears. When she sees me she smiles. Trying to hide her sadness. That reminds me of my mom, so selfless, she never wanted me to see her sad. She truly loved me.

"Hello" my voice finally quivers, "hey, your awake, come sit down" the girl gestures to a spot next to her. I walk over and sit down. "My name is Ji-hye" she says with a smile. "I can't take it, she should know that!" the boy with black hair yells. "Stop it! Your scaring her!" Ji-hye yells back. He blonde haired boy reaches out and squeezes the black haired boys hand. *Whispers "it's okay, breathe" he says to him. The blonde haired boy turns to me and says " I'm Byung-joon ", "Hi, I'm... um.. I don't know" I respond. "That's okay, you will" he says with a smile. "I'm Beom-soon" says the black haired guy. And he, the guy I met yesterday, says with the sadest expression I've ever seen " I'm Byung-ho". " Nice to meet you" I say. As much I want to deny it... The way he looks at me, even I can tell that, this isn't the first time I am meeting him. And I don't know why but his presence gives me the same feeling as the water I woke up in.

"I think we should take Alyssa out" says Ji-hye. She has the wonder and happiness of a child, but I can see that she hasn't had a great life. "Yes! hmm. How about. Ooooh, we play floppy flop". "Pffft. What's that?" I ask. "You'll see" Byung-joon says with a laugh. "Are you sure she won't kill one of us" Beom-soon says. I can tell he's still angry that I don't remember who they all are. Ji-hye gives him a look. "AGH fine. get your stuff. I guess we're playing floppy flop". They all gather things in a bag and just tell me to come along. We all walk through the grass, we have already been walking for about an hour when we reach a lake. Spread out far. "Okay. Who's carrying Alyssa?" Ji-hye asks. "Do you not think trying out what she previously learnt would help her remember" Byung-ho said with the most irratated expression I had ever seen. "Are you crazy. She'll die" Ji-hye said, which made me smile. She was always ready to defend me. "Shut up Ji-hye, what do you know?! I think Byung-ho is right" said Beam-soon. Ji-hye's face turned red and she clenched her fists, when she did that the ground slightly vibrated and Byung-joon rushed to grab her hand and whispered "calm down, Alyssa can't know the truth yet". Ji-hye blinked slowly and her eyes slowly got less red.

"Your crazy!" Beom-soon said to Alyssa. "Stop it!" Byung-joon yelled. One by one they dived into the lake and after a minute or so after re imerged on the other side. Naturally I assumed I should do the same. So I dived, "ALYSSA NO!!!!". There was no splash when I entered the water. My eyes flew open and I saw a woman swimming towards me. "Finally, Alyssa. My child. You have returned. So. I see Byung-ho still loves you" she said with a wicked smile. "Wha....", "Don't talk. This water will be detrimental to your health. As much as I want you dead. I need you alive." . *cough cough* " Alyssa", "who was that woman?". " No one . She doesn't live there. She lives anywhere that your not supposed to be. If you ever see her. Run. Without us around, she'll kill you". But she said she needed me alive. It had been hours since we got home. It was about 7 PM. Dark outside. I climbed onto the roof. I couldn't sleep. After about half an hour of sitting on the roof Byung-ho joined me. "Couldn't sleep?" he asked. "Why am I here?" I asked after a few moments of hesitation. "I can't..., tell you that. Yet" he said. Then he grabbed my hand. Once again I remembered everything. That I loved him and he loves me. I lived here after Earth was destroyed. He was the one who let me di. ..... He let go of my hand.
