Elemental Deities

Chapter 1

***BLUE'S P.O.V***

I was all alone in the middle of the living room.

The flames grew bigger with each second.

"Mom?Dad?Cooper?" I screamed, tears streaming down my face."Blue!" Cooper, my little brother screamed . "Cooper!" I yelled running in the direction of the voice but Wooden door burning with flames fell in front of me and I jumped back shrieking.

The door had blocked my path and there was no way I could reach Cooper. "Blue! Blue, help me!" My brother's tiny voice screamed from beyond the fallen door. "Cooper! Hold on, I'm coming!" I yelled, but I knew truth, we were trapped, there was no way out of the house. "Mom?Dad?" I yelled into the flames but I was replied with silence. "Help! Someone help! Please!" I screamed at the top of my voice. Suddenly Cooper was in front of me. He was on fire, his shirt was burnt and so was his skin. "Cooper?" I said in a small voice.

"I died because of you!" he screamed at me and I fell down at the amount of anger and loathing in his voice. "No." I said softly. "Look at what you did to me! You killed me!" he spat and I could smell his burnt skin and I gagged. "You're a murderer! You killed Mom and Dad and now I'm taking you with me!" he screamed and lunged at me, his small hands gripped my arm tightly and the fire spread onto me. I could feel my skin burning. "No!" I yelled with all my might.

"Blue!Blue!" I heard someone call me. The first thought that came to my mind was that Cooper was calling me. I bolted upright and looked around. I was on the bed in my room, then I realised that I'd had a nightmare again. "Blue!" someone screamed again and I nearly jumped out of my skin. It took a few seconds for me to recognise the voice.

"Aunt Susan?" I called scrambling out of bed and rushing to the front door. I opened the door to see Aunt Susan standing in the doorway with a worried expression on her face. As soon as she saw me, she hugged me and I became as stiff as a rod. "You had another nightmare?" she asked but it felt more like a statement. "Yeah." I replied with a sigh. "You alright?" she asked peering closely at me.

I nodded my head knowing that seeing Cooper like that would be something I could never forget. "Okay, well I got you pancake batter!" she said holding up a bag. "Thank you." I said with a smile. "Get ready fast, you don't wanna miss school!" she said going out. "I will thanks." I said and she nodded before going down the stairs. I closed the door and slumped to the floor. The thing is my parents and Cooper died in the fire. I was the only one who survived, that to without a scratch.

I was probably only 8 when the fire burnt down my house and I was orphaned. Cooper was only 5 and I loved him a lot. I took it as my responsibility that he died. Even to his last breath he believed that I was coming to save him but I didn't, even though everyone says I was small and couldn't have possibly saved him and that it was a miracle I was alive, I blamed myself. Aunt Susan and Uncle Jeremy were close friends of Mom and Dad and they brought me up, they rented me a room in their house and I was entirely grateful to them.

I even took up a part time job to pay the rent but they refused to take the money saying that they were glad to have me and that I had to save the money for something important. I hadn't touched the money until now and kept it safe in hopes that someday they would accept the money. I looked at the clock 7:01 it read, I had to take the bus to school and it was quite a walk to the bus station. I rushed to the bathroom to freshen up and then changed from my pyjamas to a jeans and hoodie.

I checked my phone for messages and then connected it to the speaker. I randomly clicked on a playlist and Fire by BTS started to play and I smiled to myself in the mirror. I love BTS and I'm proud to say that I'm an ARMY!! I straitned out my hair which was in a Very bad state and then went to the small kitchen I was provided with. I hardly cooked and ended up eating instant noodles most of the time but Aunt Susan always made sure I had one home Cooked meal every day. I switched on the gas stove and the it sprung to life.

I put my hand on the knob and turned it to high and then to low, singing ( screaming) 'fire' like BTS do in the MV. That's when the flames seemed to be acting of their own accord, rose high, higher that it ever should and started to grow big.

Immediately I remembered the fire that burnt my house killing my family and turned off the stove but the fire remained, even without gas fueling it. It was floating in air and this time I really, really hoped this was just another nightmare....

Chapter 2

***Blue's P.O.V***

The fire started pulsing weirdly as if it were a jellyfish. Immediately I jumped back alarmed. The fire or rather ball of fire moved to the place I was just standing in and slowly started to take a humanoid form, I stood transfixed...and that's when I came to the only logical conclusion, this was all part of my weird nightmare. Stuff like this doesn't happen in real life!

Idecided to do the only thing I could do to show my nightmare that I was in control, I rushed and grabbed a fire extinguisher from the nearest cabinet and then sprayed it on the freaky humanoid, but to my surprise nothing happened. It was only when the fire actually started to become a human did I finally scream. The alien looking thing had now transformed into a boy. He was about my age, maybe older. He had lucious brown hair, a sharp jawline, a lean but well built figure and was being complimented by the tunic he wore. It was long and touched the floor, his chest was bare but thankfully that was all.

I marvelled at how breathtaking and stunning the tunic looked, it looked as if it had been made from the softest fabric ever existing, it had been made with vibrant colours of red, orange and yellows, together they looked breathtaking. They were weaved together marvelously. The 'thing' stared at me and I stared back not knowing what to do. He opened his mouth as if to say something but all that came out was a raspy sound. Smoke rushed out from his mouth and threw him into a coughing fit. Dread gripped me and I screamed as loud as I could. The 'thing' or 'creature' whatever the hell it was winced and covered it's ears.

My breath came out ragged as I awaited certain doom. "Woah! You humans sure do love to scream." he said. "Wait--what? You can talk?" I asked perplexed. "What does it look like I'm doing?" he asked. "Then what the hell was that before?" I asked. "That, was thanks to the courtesy of your little fire extinguisher. It doesn't really hurt me but it sure doesn't make me feel comfortable. But I'm fine now, no thanks to you!" he said with a scowl. "What are you?" I asked him. "I am fire." he said with such pride, like he expected me to fall to my knees and kiss his feet. Like that would ever happen! "Um ... okay, Do you have a name? One that I can pronounce?" I asked sardonically. "One that you can pronounce?" he asked confused.

" Well isn't it alien 101 to have unpronounceable names?" I said with a shrug. Confusion gripped me, why was I being casual with this? " I am not an 'alien'. As I said before I am fire. I've been here since the beginning of time. And no, I do not have a name. It is deemed unnecessary for me and my siblings." he said. "Um... okay." I said awkwardly. "You may call me fire since that is what I am, it seems fitting that you address me as such, unless you would prefer to call me Your Highness." he said. "What? No way! Fire's fine!" I exclaimed. He just nodded his head. "So... what now? I'm supposed to go running while you come after me with whatever weird 'powers' you have or something?" I asked. I just wanted to get this over with but it was going agonizingly slow for a nightmare.

"I'm confused." he said frowning. I almost wanted to kill myself and be over with this... well almost. "Well, Mr. Fire, for a killer you're really slow!" I said with a sigh. This just wasn't making any sense! What kind of a killer just stands there, talking to you? Maybe a psychotic one...

tch he made a sound with his tounge "You humans are quick to mark others with labels, aren't you?" he quipped. "You are quick to judge people, aren't you?" I shot back and he smiled "As you know, I'm as old as time so I've had plenty of time to judge you and people like you." he said sumgly.

I refrained from a snarky comeback and tried to focus on more pressing matters. "What do you want from me?" I asked him. " Oh well, that's simple. I need you to serve me and fulfill your duty as my servant." he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "What? servant? Are you crazy!?" I yelled at him. "Crazy? No? Why would I be crazy?" he asked genuinely confused, I had to remind myself that it was just an act. "Look, if you think that you can just barge into someone's house and tell them to serve you, I'm surprised you've not been put into a psych ward yet!" I yelled back.
