It was a place of magic and swordsman but it was a place where the weak ones were devoured by the stronger. And everyone could only learn one skill which was magic or swordsman skill.

Once there was a boy who was weaker than anyone else and his name was Toki(which means Time),he had a very tough time where the weak ones cannot survive.

He had no background,no one to help him, his father and mother was killed when the barbarians came to loot their village. No one was there to help him, even the king of place didn't do anything to help his village. From that day on he started to hate the royal family and he wanted to despised the royal family. He was often bullied by others but no one was there to help him and he knew that the one who would help him but himself. He endured the humiliation and was always looking for a way to get stronger.

He always went to a library to find a way to get stronger, when he went to the library he always saw a old man always there reading a book. Once he asked the old man that what was he always reading and the old man said to nothing to him. And when he looked inside the book there was nothing at. At that time he thought that the old man had gone mad, then back to search the of magic or swordsman book. One day the old man talked to him and asked him if he wanted to become stronger.

He said yes to the old man in a haste and the old man laughed at him and Toki got angry than the old man said to him that he could give him the power to be above everyone but that power would make him different from the others. That power would make him separate from everyone, there will be no one to stand beside him and there will be lots of pain. He agreed to the old man very fast because he knew that there was always no one to help him anyway and he knew that the pain he was suffering right now was painful than any pain he would suffer.The old man was suprised by him.

The old man said to him though I said that after gaining this power that you will be alone you must try to make some allies for future but Toki disagreed to the old man and said to him that I was always alone and no one tried to help me when I needed help. I don't think of making any allies and I can survive by myself. The old man laughed again and said you will know in the future if you need allies or not but I will give you the power you want. Toki asked what was the name of the old man and the old man said to him that he was called Oni(which means devil) when he was young.

Then the old man took out a small crystal from his pocket and showed it in front of Toki, when it reached near his eye the crystal melted and went into his eyes. He backed in a haste then after a while his eyes were in pain and it turned into red than the old man showed the book he was always reading but now the book he saw blank was now filled with mysterious letters. Toki was suprised when he saw the mysterious letters on the book and the old man said to him that if he could master the book he would be able to learn both the skills of magic and swordsman.

What!, the boy said to him and said to him that I thought that a person could learn only one skill.The old man laughed and said to him that with this book you could break the rule of being able to learn only one skill. It has the power to make you the most powerful person in the multiverse.

Toki was suprised by what the old man said to him but he was waiting for this kind of opportunity and he was very happy thinking that now that he can become stronger.And he that doesn't have to bear the humiliation anymore but the old man said to him that to master the book he has to go around the world and discover many more of the other skills of magic and swordsman by himself.

When Toki looked at the book he didn't understand anything from the book and he asked the old man how would he be able to understand the words then the old man said him to look at the book again. Then when he looked at the book, the book went into his head after a while in his head, he saw the words that were written in the book and this time he could understand what the words in the book meant.

And the old man was starting to turn into dust and the old man was disappearing in the thin air. The old man said to him that he must master the book if he wants to be the strongest man in the world and he will also be able to get his revenge. Than the old man disappeared in the thin air and from the next day he started to train in a cave which he only knew about,he wasn't able to go deep into the cave before but this time when he tried to get deep into the cave he felt a very scary aura coming from the deep inside the cave.

Even though it had scary aura he went into the cave and he saw a mysterious egg covered with hot fire, when he was going to touch the egg, the fire on the egg covered him. The fire was getting inside his body, it was making his body stronger and making his magic power more stronger, after he absorbed all the fire, he felt much more stronger than before.

Then he took the egg with him and started to train with the help of the book which was in his head, it had information about how to train in both magic and swordsman skills. After few days, when he was training the egg he took was moving a bit and when he touched the egg it hatched, from the egg came a small fiery bird. The fiery bird thought of Toki as his mother, it always stayed with him and Toki named the fiery bird, Tora. Tora helped him in his training and Toki trained until he reached his point till he could learn with his resources.

Then he thought of going away for more training around the world but he knew that he couldn't easily get out of the village so, he ran away from the village in the night, though he had many memories bad memories of the village,he also had some nice memories when his father and mother was with him but he still had left the village thinking that when he becomes the strongest of the world, he would come back to the village.

After Toki had left the village with his fiery bird Tora, he was training and hunting the demon animals so, that he could get stronger as soon as possible. He met a old man resting and he asked the old man if there was a place where he could learn magic and swordsman skills, and strong faster. Than the old man said to him that if he wants to find a place like that he could only in Hill city. After a while he was resting he heard noise from the forest and when he went into the forest to check it he saw of people surrounded by magical creatures.

Every one was protecting a girl in the middle, he didn't think anything and went to help the people than slayed the magical creatures in an instant, everyone was suprised by the skills of Toki. After he killed all the magical creatures he disappeared and was checking the people from the woods than he discovered that the girl was from the royal family. The girl told the guards to find him any cost but Toki didn't wanted to meet the princess so,Toki left from there and continued his journey.

From that day on after the king heard about what happened in the forest and how Toki saved the princess then he ordered everyone in the palace to find Toki no matter what, to thank him but also to see how strong Toki, if he was strong as the princess said then the king wanted him to work for him. But he didn't know that Toki hated the royal family and he would never work for the royal family. On his way of the journey he avoided staying too long in a one place because he didn't wanted to be found by the royal family. He mainly stayed in the forest and caves continuing his cultivation without slacking even though no one ask him to because of this his cultivation levels were getting higher and he was getting more stronger reaching his dreams.

He one day ran out off money so, he joined an adventure guild where he could take the requests of defeating magical creatures for money, there were levels in the guild he was a beginner in the guild so he could get much money at the beginning but after getting requests from different guilds during his journey, after a month continuing to hunt magical creatures he could finally take higher levels of requests from the guilds.

After he could take higher level requests his living standard improved a little. He continued completing requests because he could get both money and experience from the requests. During his requests he met many different people and gained many connections but he didn't like having connections with others because he knew how painful it is to lose someone who is close so,he didn't like making friends and having connections with other people. Tora was the first friend in his life but he tried not getting too attached to Tora.
