FATED LUNAR
Mysterious Guests
Moon stares at the slice of cake before him, it was the only thing he could afford, not even a candle to blow on. He smiled. He knew that he could finally take control of his life now.
Moon
Finally, I no longer have to rely so much on others, I'll have to get a good job now that I'm old enough, then I can modify this house to my liking. Things will definitely be under my own control now!
He smiled, as he looked around him, at the house that had once been a home for his mother and himself. Sadly, his mother had passed away the year before, it did not come as a surprise to him though, since his mother was always miserable and never took better care of herself.
He still remembers that day clearly, when he found his mother's lifeless body lying on the kitchen floor, he was silent for a while before finally calling for help. He never made a fuss though, he remember being taken in by the neighbors, after all he only had a year until he was an adult.
He had decided to stop studying and started looking for odd jobs, most of the time he got none, but he saved all the money he could, after all, he did not wanna loose hope on his life yet.
Moon
Well, I better dig in and go to sleep, tomorrow will be a better day.
moon lifted the fork from the table and poked at the slice of cake, as he was about to dig in, he heard a knock at the kitchen door.
Moon
At this hour? Who could it be though? I don't think I was expecting anyone!
Moon got up and walked to the kitchen door, he held the knob then hesitated.
There was no response, it frightened him, but he decided to open the door anyway.
The door was wide open, and moon surveyed the outside left and right but could not see anyone. It was all dark at there was no sign of a living person, he shrugged it off, thinking he might have imagined it. He turned around to get inside.
Suddenly, Moon felt a hand on his shoulder, it sent shivers down his spine like never before. Before he could turn to see who it was, he was suddenly pulled back by immence force and thrown aside.
Moon groaned in pain,as his back hit a tree. He clenched his hands fight as he moved on the ground like a snake due to the pain. He tried to open his eyes and see what was going on. To his horror, he saw a beast like no other,the head, feet and tail and feet of a wolf but the hands and chest of a man. It was a terrifying sight to behold.
Moon
No! don't! don't come near me! No! Stay away from me you monster!aaaaaah! Help!help!
Moon screened as the creature moved closer and closer towards him, he was too hurt to run, and in the dead of night, he could not make out anything that might aid him.
The creature stretched out it's hands towards moon's head, and he braced himself.
Suddenly, before him, the creature was sent flying and hiring a tree that was a bit far from where he was. Moon was stunned, he could not understand what had happened.
He shifted his gaze to see where the blow that had sent the creature flying had come from. As he turned his head to look, he could not believe his eyes.

There are more of them!
