This year was also gonna be the same for mia as it was last year the year before so it didn't actually make such a difference for her but this year she was confident that this year was gonna bring her luck and the year we are talking about is 2021. So after celebrating new year by herself like she always does she woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and enthusiastic. She got freshened up and wore her hoodie and some black pants and went for her morning shift at the convenience store located near her house and she started her shift and she thought that she would have to deal with only a few customers but unexpectedly there were more people coming into the store and buying things so this was a good start for her. So after handling all those customers she decided to head back home and buy some stationary for her high school but just as she was walking back home she saw that the grandpa in front of her had dropped his wallet and was walking unknowingly so she quickly picked it up and ran towards him and returned his wallet and he thanked her for picking it up and she was happy that she did another good deed and then rushed home. Then when mia reached her home she wore her favourite pink dress which she had bought it on the 50% discount sale and put on her black sling bag and her glasses on and she headed towards the action departmental store. After reaching there she went up to the 5th floor and started searching for some notebooks and stationaries. Soon after long hours of shopping when mia reached out she noticed that it was already 1 pm and she went to a nearby tteobokki restaurant and had some ramyeon and tteobokki. After having a hearty meal she had another part time job at a coffee shop where she had to serve the customers and rushed towards the coffee shop as she hoped that she wouldn't get a huge scolding from her boss and then she quickly caught a taxi and told the driver to rush but then there was a huge traffic jam and she thought that running would be better so after paying the driver she ran towards the coffee shop and just when it was nearly time she reached the coffee shop and could breathe a sigh of relief. Then without wasting any time she wore her work clothes and started her work immediately. So after 5 hours of running and serving mia took a taxi back home and when she reached her home she fell on her cozy bed with a huge "thump" and sighed and after changing into her night clothes, and when she was warmly tucked into her bed she thought that may be this year wasn't gonna be so perfect like she thought it would be....

AFTER 2 WEEKS

It was now time for mia to finally go back to her high school and start studying again. It was a bright sunny morning when mia woke up with some great excitement for studying even harder this year than she had done before. She got freshened up and brought her pink bag (of course as it was her favourite color) and started putting in all her new bought stationaries and notebooks and went to have her breakfast which was the same old rice 🍚 and some beef bone soup 🍲and after having a meal she was ready to go hoping for nothing to go wrong. She waited for her usual bus which was B01134- and when it arrived she noticed that it was a lot emptier so that was nice for her as she wouldn't need to get pushed here and there and needed to stand the entire way. When she arrived at her school called ductill high she met the same grandpa who she had helped earlier and when he saw her he thanked her once again and then told her that this land where the school was built was actually his and now that he wants his land back he needed to destroy the building so after hearing the story mia was actually quite upset so when the grandpa looked at her face he asked her what was bothering her and she told him because if they destroy the school then she would have to transfer to another school and she didn't quite actually have so much money for it then when the grandpa heard it he told her that he was the principal of the world's most royal high school which was known as empire high and he would like her to transfer there he told her that all the children of wealthy and noble families go there and they teach them everything. So the grandpa asked her if she was okay then she asked him about all the fee structures and how much would her uniform cost and all then the man replied that it was all free for her as she had helped him and she seemed like a good person. So after all that discussion mia thought that it would be a good idea and then the grandpa made her sign a contract and he told her that he would deliver all the uniform and other items to her house by the evening and told her that she could join the school starting from tomorrow. So after hearing all that mia was very happy that at last something good has at least happened since the day after her parents had passed away. That night mia went and had BBQ beef steak to celebrate her joy of entering one of the best school's in the world and by the time she reached home she saw that there was a huge package📦 waiting for her outside and then she bought it in and when she opened it she saw that it contained the empire high school's uniform along with a name tag for her with her name engraved on it and it also contained her school shoes but unexpectedly they were heeled but she didn't care as she was so overjoyed and couldn't wait for the next day to arrive.... but who knew what fate would await for her in the upcoming days...........

BUZZ...BUZZ went the alarm clock..... mia quickly turned off the alarm clock which she set as she had woken up even before it could go off because mia was so excited for today because today was the day when she could attend EMPIRE HIGH 🤩. She quickly dressed up in her school uniform and with her new bag on she was ready then she quickly sat on her dining table and for breakfast she ate rice, beef bone soup and some rolled omletes.After having her breakfast she rushed to the bus stop when suddenly a black limousine stopped near her and when the window rolled down she saw the grandpa and he invited her to take a ride to the school with him so when mia entered the car she was so amazed by it as she had never seen such an amazing car with so much luxury and even with a mini bar inside! the grandpa laughed and offered her to sit near him and told her that she could travel everyday with him till they reach the school and she was so happy and she thanked him multiple times and then the grandpa told her to call him grandpa Zhong if she doesn't mind because calling him only grandpa made him feel uncomfortable.... hehe.So when they entered empire high there was a huge gate which opened automatically when they entered and hd CCTV cameras everywhere and had a lot of plants and trees and when they reached the school there was a huge fountain and mia could see all kinds of children coming out of all the luxurious cars and for a little amount of time even mia thought that she was one of those wealthy children but still she didn't loose confidence and walked towards the main office and filled out all the forms and soon she got to know that she was in class 10 'A' and started searching all over the places when she suddenly bumped into some people and after falling when she opened her eyes she saw 3 girls staring at her who were wearing all branded items and were looking at her with piercing eyes and then soon all three of them introduced themselves which were ginger, sunny and miranda. So ginger helped mia stand up and told her that they were the most popular girls in all empire high and nobody ever messes with them and they gave mia a second chance as she was new and told her where her class was so mia thanked her and she went to her class. Then the teacher asked mia to introduce herself and she was kind of shy but then introduced herself but people didn't quite pay attention to her and then the teacher asked her to sit near a brown haired boy and so she sat near him and she tried to talk to introduce herself but he just looked at her and ignored her and she kinda felt weird.
