Why on earth would she do this to me?

Like without any warning whatsoever, and I'm supposed to welcome the stranger?

I just woke getting ready for school and stuff when I saw a fancy letter on my nightstand taking my MOM invites me and my sister to have dinner with him and his child. What the flipping fuck?

"Ems, Your train of thoughts are tooo freaking loud!!"

My sister Max came whining in my room without knocking and just sitting on my bed like she doesn't have school in few minutes

*Get out*

I said not caring to look at her

"What's that on your hand?"

I hide it quickly too quickly for anyone to find it suspicious especially Max

"Nothing"

She gets up walking towards as I nervously backed away

"You suck at lying"

She says the obvious, I rolled my eyes. I don't suck, I have a master's degree in lying in my head, she just knows me too well.....its creepy

Before I knew it she tackled me to the ground like I didn't even know how that happened but what I saw next was my body on the floor and her getting the paper from my nightstand table

Her eyes went big, and they were already big

*Stop looking like a croah"

"What the hell is this?"

I sat back on my butt still on the floor pushing my glasses up

*I dunno, woke up and saw it on my table"

"Where's mom?"

"Dunno"

"What do you know?" she says annoyed that I can't give her enough info

"That you're gonna be late for school"

I stood up, she snapped her neck to the side like literally snapped her head to look at the clock which was already saying 7 minutes passed her normal time to leave, she cursed told me we are having a family meeting this night and slammed the door on my face.

Sigh, Max

I grabbed my bag swinging it over my shoulder before going to the door, getting out the door I felt like shit I hate going out but I just have to go to school.

I called a cab and off I went to school, a.k.a my second enemy.

I'm a nerd yeah, I've got the typical nerd classes, nerd hair and well I love reading, but the thing is I hate people....so crazy much which makes me an introvert but at time I can tolerate anyone to a limit except for one person

Carlos....

Emily's Pov:

Carlos my ache enemy since day one, he was quite the opposite from me. Extroverted, good eye sight, and he had dark hair while I had drak brown hair that just kept curling at the tip which was absolutely frustrating.

He was like the king of school, and unfortunately I've been with him from middle school, he always had this aura around him that screams dominance and I hated his egoistic ass so much.

We've been enemies since then.....well that was until

On our last year in middle school, we had this huge party beside a pool I didn't know whose kid party it was but my bestie Jayden went so I followed even do all I did was sip my drink and sit by the pool while he went about his day.

Casually taking another sip, some bozo bumped into me from behind causing to fall directly at the pool, everyone gasp and they just stared as I drowned cause well I'm not really a swimmer. That's when Carlos came diving into the pool and rescuing me

He took me inside the house sat me on a couch as he rushed to get a towel to wipe my face

"Are you okay?"

He asked worriedly, I remember blushing crazy letting out the smallest yes, since then I've been well crushing?

Nah admiring is the right word, he was really cool.

I bent down dodging the flying hand aiming for the back of my head

"Woah"

Jayden exclaimed with his mouth in the O shape

"That was cool man"

We dap, then he followed me around

"Why are you following me weirdo"

I bluntly said

"Me and issy are on a break"

He whined, I rolled my eyes. Not the first time

"I know I'm gonna regret this but, what happened?"

He opened his locker which was beside mine as he got the necessary stuffs he need

"she saw me cheating in the last party, but I honestly don't rememberrrrr"

Cries out

I let out a sigh at how tired I am of hearing their relationship issues

"Look Jay, have ever though of keeping your lips to yourself. Does great things"

I stated the obvious

"Nah dude my lips attract them not me, I'm the victim"

Puts his hand on his chest dramatically, I slammed my locker shut rolling, again.

I bumped my head into someone's shoulder cause I was straring at dumb old Jay. And oh it was the last person I wanted to see right now.

Carlos said with his Spanish accent evidence, I groaned inwardly but smiled on the outside

"Hey......"shit I didn't know his last name

He chuckled, like literally chuckled, what gave him the audacity-

"fancy bumping into you here, haven't seen you since when you got dumped with food in the cafeteria"

He snickered, I laughed half heartly....sihh what I would give to punch his handsome face.

"well your leg was in the way so"

"yeah, you're right.........my leg was in the way of you falling backwards"

Jayden burst out laughing right close to my ear maybe to irritate me, I dunno, dude's loco

I smiled

"don't you have things to do? My tummy doest feel so good seeing face around here" cause of the god damn butterflies

He asked looking genuinely concerned but I know what was behind that face was a mask.......no no what was behind the face mask was a face??

I called out to my friend who thankfully did not embarrass me in front of Carlos thankfully

I glanced back at him I saw a every prominent smile on his face before he turned the other and so did I

It was lunch time and normally I would have my lunch with Jessica and Jayden their twins but Jessica hasn't been feeling too and so I'm stuck with Jayden for a while

We sat at our usual table which was two tables next to Carlos's I know he follows me literally everywhere, Jayden began eating his food as I glanced at their table, they were all talking but him. Like he was in his own world

He just kept picking on his food, that was before they called him he turned his head facing the guy who called his best friend Nick, he shook his head when Nick asked him a question with a small smile. He went back to playing with his food, it felt like I was staring too much cause he turned his head towards me soo fast that I didn't know what to do with my eyes than to look at his brown ones that smiled at me.

I blushed away

"Why are you red?"

"Its hot in here"

Jayden stared at me like I had two heads

"with the ac on??"

I rolled my eyes

"just eat"

I pleaded, and thankfully he complied

"Oh yeah! Nick is having another party this weekend and he invited me"

He shrieked...i blinked my eyes at him, bruh

"are you a girl? What's with the shriek?"

"Look my man, in life there are people like Carlos and Nick and Josh and Kevin and Ruth and Ryan and Lilly and..."

I said not impressed like at all

"So I'm doing all of this for us, you and I"

"The last party I woke up in someone else's room I can't risk it"

I began eating my food, hoping he would let the conversation die out but nope nada he just kept pressing and pressing till lunch was over and I could still hear his voice in my head even though we weren't in the same class

School went on fast, the last bell for the day rang and I was so not ready to go home but I still love home so I grabbed my bag and placed it over my shoulder. Most of the students were already out cause well I don't like crowd and Jayden went with Nick to some place, I passed by some class when I heard a loud noise. Okay, I'm not really the snoop type but it sounded juicy so I stopped pretending I'm tying my shoe to see what or better still who was in the classroom.

And it was two hoomans, the schools belle, Lilly and Carlos seems like she slapped him?

"What the hell do you take me for?" she yelled with her overly loud voice, I'm surprised he didn't flinche away, sigh tolerance

"if you fucking don't want me, then say so instead of making look desperate"

He chuckled with his deep voice as he rose his head looking at her dead in the eyes as I sipped my imaginary tea

"I don't make you act desperate Li, you are desperate, stop trying to blame me for your actions that's just who you are"

Damn, wow...... Wait!

I thought they were dating, are they breaking up?

He head footsteps coming my hear taking that as cue I bounced leaving the crime scene

I got home pretty tired and stuff I was just at the door when Max voice roared through the door

"MOM! YOU CAN'T BRING ANOTHER DUDE INTO THIS HOUSE AND EXPECT ME TO BE LIKE ALL GOOD DAUGHTER"
