Dream turned to Sapnap with a teasing smirk, 'Did you manage to gather all the essentials, dwarf?' Sapnap shot back with a playful lilt in his voice, 'Of course, idiot~'
George chuckled, 'Come on, you guys, let’s stay focused on the mission and demolish the Ender Dragons!' Dream smiled, a spark of excitement in his eyes as Sapnap began constructing the portal, placing each block with precision. As he lit it up, the boys exchanged grins, blissfully unaware of the lurking dangers that awaited them on the other side.
They stepped through, and as Dream emerged, he quickly declared, 'You guys, I don't think this is the Netherworld.' Sapnap chimed in with a sassy tone, 'Yeah, no shit.' George, maintaining a calm demeanor, asked, 'Where are we?' The atmosphere shifted, curiosity mixing with an undercurrent of unease as they took in their surroundings.
'All right, Sapnap, explain!' Dream immediately shifted the blame onto him. 'What did I do? I placed every block right! I mean, look at the po—' But as he turned to point, the portal was nowhere to be seen, as if it had vanished in those few seconds, leaving them in a bewildering void.
George said, 'I'm not usually the chicken, but guys, I'm afraid... I mean, we don't know where we are, plus I ran out of maps.' Sapnap replied, 'Well, since our portal suddenly "disappeared," I guess we have to survive the night out here... God, I'm not ready to deal with raccoons!' The tension in the air was palpable as they faced the uncertainty of their surroundings.
Dream said, 'Sapnap, George, don't be dramatic! There is a literal mansion in front of us!' He pointed at the big wooden house looming ahead, but it looked abandoned and forgotten. Mold crept along the wood, making George feel uneasy as he glanced at the ominous structure.
Dream slowly walked towards it, giving no second options to George and Sapnap. As they cautiously opened the door, you could just feel the place was wrapped in dust and spider webs. As they tried to step inside, Dream's foot landed on a creaky step that echoed like a gunshot, and just then, they heard an actual gunshot ring out.
Dream goes behind the couch as Sapnap and George follow him. 'Since when did they have guns?' he asked George, shrugging and trying not to make a lot of noise. They hear a guy's voice echoing, 'Come out, come out, wherever you are~' The tension thickens as they hold their breath, unsure of what to do next.
Before Sapnap could say anything, the dude from earlier found them, and they screamed like little girls. He said, 'Damn it! Ran out of ammo...' Dream shouted back, sounding even more offended, 'Were you planning to shoot us?!' The guy replied, 'Yeah,' and turned on his flashlight. That's when Dream noticed he also had a mask, and the guys eyes went wide as well.
Dream asked, 'Who are you?' The guy replied, 'Why do you need to know? Are you a spy of some sort, ready to take me away to that faceless man?' Dream looked confused as the guy mentioned a faceless man. Just then, another guy, seemingly the same age but not the same height as the first, walked up. 'I see you! We have more rebels, Tim.! the guy, covered his mouth as the other guy, apparently named tim, said, 'Damn it, Hoodie, do not use my real name!'
The guy, apparently named Hoodie, stroked his shoulder and said, 'Sorry, Masky, I forgot that we weren't alone...' The dudes looked upset at one another before Tim, the guy with the code name Masky, said, 'Don't forget it next time.' Just then, a third guy, seeming to be younger than the two others, walked up and asked, 'Hey, Masky, who are these three?'
Masky narrowed his eyes at the other figure, his voice low and steady. 'Well, it seems we have some unexpected guests, Ticci Toby.' Dream, sensing the shift in atmosphere, quickly retorted, 'We’re not intruding! We were supposed to be in the Nether, but somehow we ended up here.' The air thickened with tension, leaving the fate of their encounter hanging in the balance.
The guy apparently named Toby flashed a friendly smile that quickly morphed into something more sinister. 'So, what torture method are we going to use?~' he said in a smooth yet mischievous tone. Dream, feeling the weight of the moment, instantly got defensive. He reached for his diamond sword, only to realize with horror that it was nowhere to be found in his inventory. It was as if it had vanished along with the portal, leaving him vulnerable and exposed.
The other guy, cloaked in a hoodie, reached behind him and pulled out Dream's sword. He slightly unmasked himself, revealing only his mouth, and taunted, 'Looking for this?~' Dream, sounding pissed, stammered, 'How the—?' But the hoodie guy cut him off with a smirk, saying, 'Cuz I can~' The tension escalated, each word laced with a mix of challenge and amusement.
Masky shot a glance at Toby, hoodie-clad Dream, Sapnap, and George. 'Toby, we’re not torturing them. They clearly have nowhere else to go, and let’s be real—they don’t have the ingredients or skills to survive out here. I think we need them to stick with us, as much as I hate saying that.' He paused for a moment, then added, 'I’m not doing this out of sympathy; I just don’t want you guys getting into trouble.' The weight of his words hung in the air, a reluctant alliance forming amidst the tension.
Toby reverted to his childlike demeanor, his eyes sparkling with mischief. 'But will I get to annoy them?' he asked eagerly. Masky sighed, rolling his eyes. 'Yes, if you stop poking my arm! I seriously get bruises from that,' he replied, trying to maintain his composure despite the absurdity of the situation.
Toby clapped his hands and jumped with excitement. Dream quickly tried to protect the others by covering them with his hands. Masky rolled his eyes again and said, 'Like I said, we're not going to hurt you. Just relax and try not to breathe too hard—HE'LL find you.' George looked a bit confused and asked, 'Who is this HE?' The hoodie guy looked shocked at George and replied, 'You don’t know who HE is?'
Hoodie began to explain, 'He's a dangerous faceless monster, able to turn non-mortal humans into monstrosities. Masky and I have been running from him for years and years. He’s nothing like you think of; he’s not just a simple enemy—he’s a violent monster.' Dream responded, 'Dramatic much?' Masky shot back, 'Not at all dramatic.'
Sapnap asked, 'What did he ever do to you for you guys to describe him like that?' Brian, a bit shaken, stayed quiet as Masky replied, 'Why should we trust you with this information?' Sapnap responded, 'I guess that's fair enough... But what kind of stuff has he done?'
'If he doesn't get his way, he'll forcefully get it, even if it involves death, murder, or any type of violent act. He will do it if it means to get to his goals,' Masky replied.
Dream looked a bit weirded out and said nervously, 'Well, that definitely ain't an enderman... but I still don't understand what he did to you guys for you to end up like this?' Masky replied, 'None of your damn business. That information is hidden between me and Hoodie, so don't expect us to open up so quickly. We aren't softies who are willing to get taken advantage of.'
Toby, getting unstimulated, immediately interrupted by saying, "Let's walk already! Jesus, this is such a boring conversation!" Masky replied, "Oh my God, shut up, Toby!" Toby mumbled, "You're such an asshole." Masky snapped, saying, "What did you say, you little bitch?" Toby replied back, "Nothing!" Masky responded, "That's what I thought."
Everybody starts walking, getting unnerved as Toby keeps poking Dream's arm. Dream asks, 'So you basically let Masky boss you around? Why aren't you fighting back?' Toby responded, 'Well, I can't really feel pain; it's a part of one of my conditions. And I just know that man has a 9-inch Glock, and I could die from blood loss, which I'm not even aware of. So I would rather be alive than dead.' Dream replied to his reply, 'Fair enough.'
