As I walked through the gleaming glass doors of our hi-tech school building, surrounded by cherry blossom trees, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The perfectly manicured lawn and spotless hallways seemed almost surreal.

My gaze drifted toward Trevor, standing by his locker, radiating confidence. To me, he was the epitome of perfection – intelligent, charming, and breathtakingly handsome. My heart skipped a beat as I indulged in the view.

Just as I was lost in my daydream, Liam clapped me on the shoulder, his arm draping across my neck. "Yo, Ethan!"

I snapped back to reality, grinning. "Yo, Liam, man."

We strolled down the hallway, nearing Trevor's locker. Our eyes met, and time froze. The world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us, suspended in a sea of silence.

Liam's voice broke the spell. "Come on, Ethan, we're gonna be late."

We entered our Biology class, slipping into our seats at the back. Trevor glided in, his ethereal beauty captivating me anew. I couldn't tear my gaze away.

The bell rang, snapping me out of my trance.

During recess, Liam and I headed to the cafeteria, exchanging greetings with the kitchen staff. We claimed an empty table, and as we ate, we discussed the upcoming football game.

Trevor and Emily walked in, sending my heart into a flutter. I considered inviting Trevor over but hesitated, shy.

Liam noticed and teased, "Ethan's got a crush!"

My mom called me down for dinner, breaking my reverie. I smiled, feeling a sense of clarity. Now, I just needed to figure out how to break up with Rachel.

Trevor leaned against his desk, chatting with Emily. "I think Ethan might be interested," he said, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

Liam: Wait, you just realized you like guys? You've liked Trevor since sophomore year! It's pretty obvious.

Ethan: Ikr? But I need to break up with Rachel.

Liam: Quickly, before she gets ideas. You'll need luck, bro.
