Chapter 1: Flashbacks
Jamie's eyes fluttered closed as he sat in his small apartment, surrounded by the familiar comforts of his omega life. He couldn't help but drift back to the memories of his past, the ones he tried to keep hidden.
Growing up, Jamie had always felt like an outcast. His parents, both alphas, had struggled to understand their omega son. They had tried to mold him into something he wasn't, pushing him to be more assertive, more dominant. But Jamie had always known he was different.
As he grew older, Jamie learned to embrace his omega nature. He found solace in his submissive tendencies, in the comfort of serving others. But life as an omega wasn't easy. He faced discrimination and prejudice from the alpha-dominated society.
Despite the challenges, Jamie had built a moderate life for himself. He worked as a freelance writer, taking on small projects to make ends meet. But he longed for something more, something that would bring him purpose and fulfillment.
That's when the job opportunity arose. Omicron Incorporated, the largest company in the world, was looking for a personal assistant to their newly appointed CEO. Jamie couldn't believe his luck when he landed the job.
Little did he know, his life was about to change forever.
Jamie stood outside the towering skyscraper that housed Omicron Incorporated. He took a deep breath, smoothing his attire for what felt like the hundredth time. He had researched the company, knew the CEO's reputation as a shrewd businessman.
As he entered the building, Jamie was greeted by the receptionist. "Welcome, Jamie. Mr. Ryder is expecting you."
Jamie's heart raced as he made his way to the CEO's office. He had heard rumors about Ryder's dominant nature, his alpha instincts legendary.
Jamie's first day at Omicron Incorporated was a blur of emotions. He was excited to start his new job, but nervous about meeting the CEO, Ryder. As he settled into his new role, Jamie couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. What would Ryder be like? Would he be kind and understanding, or demanding and difficult?
As Jamie navigated the office, he couldn't help but notice the whispers and glances from his coworkers. They seemed to be watching him, waiting to see how he would fare under Ryder's leadership. Jamie felt a surge of determination. He was going to prove himself, no matter what.
Finally, the day arrived when Jamie was scheduled to meet Ryder. He stood outside the CEO's office, his heart racing with anticipation. What would Ryder be like? Would he be impressed with Jamie's skills and experience?
Taking a deep breath, Jamie pushed open the door and stepped inside. Ryder looked up from his desk, his piercing blue eyes locking onto Jamie's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension.
"Ah, Jamie," Ryder said finally, his deep voice commanding attention. "Welcome to Omicron Incorporated. I trust you're settling in well?"
Jamie nodded, trying to hide his nervousness. "Yes, sir. Thank you for having me."
Jamie nodded, trying to hide his nervousness. "Yes, sir. Thank you for having me."
Ryder nodded, his gaze never leaving Jamie's face. "I must say, I'm impressed with your resume. You have a lot of potential, Jamie. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do."
Jamie felt a surge of pride and gratitude. Maybe this job wouldn't be so bad after all. Maybe Ryder would be a decent boss, someone who would mentor and guide him.
But as the days went by, Jamie began to realize that Ryder was not like any boss he had ever had. He was demanding and exacting, pushing Jamie to his limits every day. Jamie found himself struggling to keep up, to meet Ryder's expectations.
Despite the challenges, Jamie couldn't help but feel drawn to Ryder's dominant energy. He loved the way Ryder commanded the room, the way he made Jamie feel.
Days started to pass now Jamie hardly have time for himself, he goes to the office early in the morning sharp at 7 then returnsis house at 9. The work demanded by Ryder always left Jamie exhausted and tired .
But, because Jamie struggled very much in finding the job, he takes this jobas his opportunity to prove himself and shine .
Jamie's days blended together in a blur of work and exhaustion. Ryder's demands were relentless, pushing Jamie to his limits. But despite the challenges, Jamie couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He was learning so much, growing as a person and a professional.
One day, Ryder called Jamie into his office, a hint of a smile on his face. "Jamie, I have a special task for you. I want you to meet with our company's writer, Ms. Thompson. She's been struggling with her latest project, and I need you to help her get it back on track."
Jamie nodded, intrigued. He had never met a writer before, and he was curious about the process.
When he arrived at Ms. Thompson's office, Jamie was struck by her warm smile and kind eyes. But as they began to discuss the project, Jamie realized that Ms. Thompson was in a tough spot. The deadline was looming, and she was struggling to come up with ideas.
"Jamie, I need you to help me brainstorm," she said, her voice laced with desperation. "I need ideas, and I need them now."
Jamie nodded, his mind racing. He threw himself into the task, generating ideas and suggestions. But no matter how hard he tried, Ms. Thompson seemed unsatisfied.
"This isn't working," she said, her voice rising in frustration. "I need something more, something better."
Jamie felt a surge of panic. He was trying his best, but it wasn't good enough. He didn't know what to do.
Just then, Ryder appeared in the doorway, his eyes gleaming with intensity. "What's going on here?" he demanded.
Ms. Thompson explained the situation, and Ryder listened intently. When she finished, he turned to Jamie. "I need you to step up your game, Jamie. I need you to make this project happen."
Jamie nodded, feeling a surge of determination. He was going to make this work, no matter what it took.
