I just stared at the text message. I had no idea who Bee was or however sent this message so I replied

Sorry but you have the wrong number.
Kenji Dela Crus
What's your problem? Why the hell are you acting like this?
Elianna Dizon
Seriously I don't know you,and your texting the wrong number. Dude I'm doing you a favor and keeping you from wasting your load on messages to a wrong person.
Kenji Dela Crus
This is Kenji,dammit. I know you don't love me anymore, but please don't act like you never know me at all.
This guy's clearly insane and desperate, and however Bee is, she's much better off without this guy in her life. So I decided to do her a favor and replied,

He's not just deserate, but he seems pretty pathetic, begging and chasing after a girl who already seems to be with someone else.

I waited a few minutes to see if he would reply, but he didn't. Good. I hope the message finally sunk in and he'd leave that poor Bee alone. Still I couldn't help felling a tiny twinge of guilt as I delete his text message from my phone. Maybe I should've just insisted that he had the wrong number, but god, he really got on my nerves.
Funny that he mentioned my name, though. Bee's real name must be Elianna, too.
Oh yeah, my name is Elianna Dizon. I'm 17 years old, and no, I'm not usually in the habit of playing tricks on total strangers. I'm just your average high school senior-to-be, and oops, here I was, going to be late for a coffee date with my best friend.
When I got to Coffee shop, Athena was already there.
she called, waving me over. I joined her at table by the window. The coffee shop is right in the middle of the local park, and we had a view of a playground outside.
Athena already ordered for me, so there was a tall cup of (cold) coffee waiting for me.

Are you excited about school tomorrow?
she asked, sipping her own drink. I grimace

Since when is the first day of school exciting, let alone for a new students?
Athena Jung
Oh, we're going to be fine! After all, we'll be together there.
Athena Jung has been my best friend since we were little kids. I grew up in Korea where we met; Athena's half-filipino and half-korean. Our family were pretty close, and we both move back here for a couple of months ago, so you could imagine that everything here felt strange and new. My parents are based in Korea, and they sent me and my brothers Nathan and Carlo to the Philippines.
My mother, Tita Lorain, is actually my Korean stepmother-my dad told me that my real mom died of a heart attack when I just a baby. Athena's family has their own house in the city, but she likes staying over at our house a lot. She's right-school's going to be much better with her around.

Yeah, I know. I just hope we'll be together in the same section,
I replied, swirling the whipped cream in my drink
Athena Jung
And I hope there'll be lots of cute guys in school. Do you think he goes there?
she asked, nodding in the direction of a guy who just sat down on one of the outdoor seats of the coffee shop.
I turned to look at the guy and said,

Geez, Athena, he's not even cute. Just look at him. The guy has longish hair with different streaks of volor, a bunch of earrings, and Ugh,

He just lit a cigarette and started smoking.
Athena Jung
Well, wathever. Don't worry we gonna have a great year!
We stayed at the coffee shop for a couple of more hours.By the time we left, Gangter Guy, as I mentally nicknamed the guy Athena's looking at, was still sitting on the same spot , and had probably smoked a whole pack of cigarettes.
Elianna Dizon
Yeesh, hasn't he ever heard about lung cancer?
Athena Jung
I don't think so.
When I got home, I found out that I'd left my cellphone in my room and saw that I got a bunch of text messages from the weird guy this morning, asking where I was, that he's still waiting, and that he'd see me- I mean Bee- tomorrow. This guy really needs to know when to give up
Episode 2
Athena and I rode to school together the next day, and I could feel my heart pounding as we walked into Northville High School. Someone from the admin admin office briefed us on basic rules and regulations which we already heard about when we and roll over the summer, and handed as booklets of those said rules. we also found out that we were the only a transfer is in the senior year, which made me feel even more anxious. good thing sarah and i were assigned to same section.
First period was english and as expected, sara and i had to go out in front of the class to introduce ourself to everyone,

Hi everyone, I'm Athena Dizon. I move her a while ago from Korea. Please be nice to me.
I said, smiling at to see of new faces. Everybody suddenly started whispering after I said my name which I thought was strange.
Ms. Reyes
Huh. Alright Ms. Dizon. Can you please tell us-?
Ms. Reyes broke off when the classroom door suddenly burst open. I gasped as gangster guy from yesterday wearing white sneakers with his school uniform, walked into the classroom

Mr. Dela Cruz, late for the first day of school see.

Where do I sit?
Gangster Guy asked gruffly. Ms. Reyes check her seating chart.
Ms. Reyes
Your assigned seat is next to me Elianna Dizon, one of our new students.
She turned to me and said,

I walk back into my seat Gangter Guy eyed me with disbelief and sat down next to me. I couldn't believe it: he was pulling out his cell phone and texting in class. Is he really that rude? I suddenly felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, waited until Ms. Reyes was facing the blackboard, and snatch and peek at my cell phone.

Your name is Elianna Dizon?
I gasped and look at my seatmate,

That annoying guy who was texting me yesterday?!
His smirked and leaned back on his seat.
Kenji Dela Crus
Well. You really weren't lying when you said I got the wrong person. You look nothing like Elianna I know. She's a lot prettier than you, for starters. And you actually had the nerve to pretend to be her. I can't believe you made me look like an idiot yesterday. I was waiting at the coffee shop for an hours.
Elianna Dizon
You know, I didn't tell you to get lost and stop bothering me. While I was pretending to be 'Bee',
I said, adding air quotes around the nickname,
Elianna Dizon
I never said anything about meeting you. It was your fault you decided to go there anyway.
Kenji Dela Crus
Hey, you fooled me into thinking you were her, so I'm still going to get back at you for that. You're new here and it's not going to be hard for me to make your life difficult.
He really was getting on my nerves now.

Great way to welcome someone new. And how on Earth did you get my number anyway?
He closed his eyes and smirked again.
Kenji Dela Crus
That doesn't matter. I'm gonna take care of that guy later for giving me the wrong number. He probably heard me wrong and thought I was asking for your number.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
Elianna Dizon
You're going to 'take care of that guy later'. Looks like you're a really charming guy. No wonder Bee broke up with you.
He opened his eyes and glared at me.
Kenji Dela Crus
You don't know anything about me or Bee, and you better shut up right now, or I'll-
Ms. Reyes
Is there a problem over there, Miss Dizon, Mr, Dela Cruz?
Ms. Reyes voice broke into our argument.Great. What a way for me to make an impressionon the first day of school.
Elianna Dizon
No Miss, everything's fine.
I replied keeping my gaze ahead. I was determined to stop paying attention to Gangster Guy. My impression about him was right. He barely knew me and he already threatened to ruin my life in school? What was that about? Oh God, and he has to be my seatmate all throughout the year. This is not going to be fun I glanced at Athena, who gave me a sympathetic look.
Episode 3
During our break, she immediately bounded to my side and linked arm with me.

Elianna, you have to meet my seatmates,
Elianna Dizon
At least you lucked out with your seatmates. I have to sit next to that annoying guy all year.
I complained as she pulled me over her seatmates.
Athena Jung
Hey guys, this is my best friend Elianna, Elianna, that's Seth Matic,
She pointed to the guy with a spiky hair.

She said, gesturing to a guy with glasses, his hair falling a little over his eyes.

Looks like you and Kenji were getting to know each other earlier.
Seth said with a laugh as the four of us headed to the cafeteria. I noticed a few girl in the hallway shooting daggers at me, and Athena and I had no idea why.

What was that? Kenji's actually talking to a girl again?
A female voice came up behind us and squeezed between our group. A girl with curly hair and funky earrings flashed me and Athena a big smile.

And it wasn't a great conversation or anything. He was giving me a hard time.

The girl said, rolling her eyes.

Okay, so he sent me a text message by mistake yesterday. It was supposed to go to this Bee girl and I told him he had the wrong number. He wouldn't stop texting me and begging me to meet up, So I pretended to be Bee and told him to leave me alone. Now he's pissed that I pretended to be Bee and for making him wait.
I explained in a rush. Athena, Seth, and kirby grinned.

Oooooh, you shouldn't have done that. Their breakup's been tearing him apart for a while now, and this fangirls aren't gonna like it that you played a trick on their beloved one.
Grace put an arm around me.

But don't worry, no one's going to bother you while we're around.

Thanks, Grace Er..... you mentioned fangirls?

Oh yeah, Kenji has tons of them all over the school, in every grade. You could say he, Seth, and Kirby are the school heartthrobs. They are best friends and day hang out together a lot. So you can just imagine how crazy it can get when girls see them walking together around school.

Athena's new buddies are friends with Gangster Guy. Great.
We reached the cafeteria and grabbed some seats, and Seth went off to get us some snacks. I saw more girls looking our way, particularly at Athena who was deep in conversation with Kirby, although some were looking at me from head to toe, too

Is that why some girls are looking at me like they want to claw my face off?

Yup. By now, all of them know that you and Kenji sit together and had a conversation in class. Kenji hasn't spoken to a lot of girls since the big breakup, so now they're probably wondering if you're moving in on him,

Well, it's not like I WANTED to sit beside him. They don't have anything to worry about, and I'm not interested in him anyway.

I said to Kirby and Seth, who was returning with a tray of foods.

He said, while passing the sandwiches and drinks around the table.

The rest of the day in school was uneventful. I did my best to not glance at Kenji in the classroom, even when I was supposed to pass some papers in his way. Maybe if i ignore him he'd just leave me alone, sleep in class, or whatever it is he does with his life. My hopes were dashed when the final bell rang, though, because while I was getting my things together, Kenji started starering at me and said,

I'm not done with you, and you're not going to get away with what you did. I'm still figuring out how to get back at you for making me look stupid, and you'll know it when I do. Just wait and see.
I sighed and set my bag down. I've had enough of this, but they do say you catch more flies with honey, so,

Look, I'm really sorry about what happened. I just didn't know how to make you realize that you got the wrong number, so I had to do something to drive you away. Can't we just let the whole thing go? Please.
He stared at me wordlessly for what felt like forever, then he walked away, casting another angry glance at me before getting out to the door.
This was going to be a long and long and long school year. My God please help me.
